Sudesh Didi – Become Soul Conscious Now – 26th May 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London

29 May 2023

Om shanti.

What is Shrimat? Be bodiless. Body consciousness has made us naturally become conscious of the body. When I am conscious of the body, I am also conscious of the bodily relations. When I am conscious of the soul, then my attention and my relationship naturally shift towards the One who is bodiless. Because if I do not have a body, I do not have body relations. I have bodily relations only because I have a body. And now, while I have a body, I have to become bodiless. What is the practice of being bodiless?

The body is a very important tool for me to experience myself. But if I am not in the body, I would be “body-less”, I am in the Soul World as a “body-less being”. So, this is the practice: While I am in the body, I am bodiless. For example, the souls who reside in the Soul World for 4900 years as bodiless beings must be very soul conscious!! Although they have been without a body for so long, they are very weak. The practice is to be bodiless while still in the body, but also to be soul conscious.

Being soul conscious makes us bodiless, but being bodiless does not make us soul conscious. When I am a soul, then I am conscious of my original self. And my original self is my true self, my eternal self, my divine self. So, the intellect begins to recognise that these are my original qualities. We begin to think of our peace, purity, the eternal relationship with Baba. While we use our physical organs to perceive the world around us: we use our eyes to see physical objects, our ears to hear sounds, our mouths to taste; remembrance is not of a material object.

Remembrance is like a “taste” that we experience. When we taste something sweet, we are reminded of the shape and flavour of the fruit. For example, the sweetness of a mango brings that remembrance of the mango shape again. Similarly, when we drink something, the taste brings back the image of the drink. In the same way, when we focus on being soul conscious, we are directing our focus towards the qualities of the soul. We can only experience these qualities in contrast to the body.

When we are in our physical body, our thoughts are processed through the brain and the intellect is engaged in thinking. These thoughts create sensations. We can sometimes feel a very soft feeling of the vibrations; our body begins to feel that energy. So, the body is important, but not body consciousness. Even God requires a body to enter and interact with us, whether that means speaking, giving blessings, or giving drishti. But at that time Baba is conscious of who am I. Brahma Baba is very intoxicated, that he is the father of human beings, he is Baba’s beloved child.

I practise the soul consciousness, by using the body “less”, and using the qualities “more”. Using the body “less” means not repeating the actions such as speaking or hearing the same sounds over and over again. if I have said something or heard something, do not use that “sound” again and again. If I have spoken something wrong, so realise that it was wrong. But do not dwell on the mistake or keep repeating it in my mind, thinking it was wrong, it was wrong. Instead, the intellect focuses on what was right, the right quality. So, being in the body, but using my physical “workers” less and less, using my body “less”. It means using less and less of your organs and more and more of your original qualities.

Among the organs, the eyes are the most active. While you can keep your hands and feet still, the eyes are constantly processing information. Even if you close your eyes, the images you have seen before may continue to appear in your mind's eye. So, transforming the way I see things and hear things, by changing my perspective and understanding the true meaning behind what I see and hear. If I do not understand the meaning, again and again, the same images which disturbed me will come back again and again. Even something very pleasant may continue to pull me back again and again. So, to put the full stop in this aspect is like using the organs less and less. This means the negative effects are decreasing, and the importance of the swa (original) qualities are increasing. So, I become more soul conscious, then my consciousness changes from lokik (worldly) way into alokik (beyond this world).

Previously, we saw our relationships in a worldly way, such as "my mother," "my father," "my husband," or "my friend," and this made us more body conscious. Now we can recognise that it is the soul that is playing these roles of the mother, the father , and that the roles we are playing are divine. In this way, we can see each other as brothers and sisters. Baba has given us knowledge, and  that we should use more in our minds and intellects. When we do this, our organs will automatically perform less, which means we will speak fewer unnecessary words. We can change the way we see each other and appreciate each other's unique qualities without becoming attached to them. We should focus on picking up on each other's specialities without becoming a slave to any one person. We can appreciate and love each other while still remaining detached, detached yet loving, detachment and yet appreciating with your heart.

This means that we should use our bodies less in a worldly way and more as my instrument through which I can experience. Without our bodies, we would not be able to have these experiences, but not in body consciousness.

In a state of body consciousness, virtues become vices; in a state of soul consciousness, vices are changed into virtues. For instance, love can become attachment when we become possessive, because of "mine." Attachment with anything is based on physical relationships, whereas love is not dependent on the body. Love is without body consciousness. We can express love through actions like giving, cooking, or presenting something, but we are using the body to act with love and goodness, but a karmic account is not created.

Love becomes cooperation, appreciation, and positive relationships, rather than a bondage. Certainly, the body is needed for communication and to make things work. The machines should continue to work. Work is less and less and becoming aware is more and more. We are aware of the difference between using virtues and observing what is becoming a vice. The actions should not lead to more vice, actions with attachment or greed, and we check that our intellect is not egocentric.

It is a practice of surrendering, surrendering myself to Baba, then allowing Him to fill and transform our intellect into a divine intellect. By filling us with spiritual strength, we become victorious. This process requires us to shift our attention towards becoming more soul conscious.

Today Baba says, “Don't use the word yoga. Some children say: Make us sit in yoga. However, if this habit is instilled, you won't be able to stay in remembrance while walking and moving along. You mustn't teach new ones to sit specially in yoga. When you make new ones sit in front of you, they become trapped in name and form. This is what experience says and this is why it is forbidden.”

Some children say, “I cannot have yoga. I cannot have yoga. Please conduct meditation and sit me in yog.”

Can you copy love?  You have love for Baba, and you ask, “Teach me how to love Baba.”  I give a commentary and you meditate. Is this yoga? Yoga means to communicate with Baba; yoga means to be lost in love. It is as if He puts you in a container of Brahma Baba’s eyes, and Shiv Baba’s powerful love, and that you enjoy that meeting. He says, “I make you the jewel of My eye.” So, generate that loveful feeling, belonging to Baba.

It is not like you are moving around and someone is conducting meditation for you.  Some say, “Oh when this teacher is conducting meditation, I can meditate.” But what about your own relationship with Baba? Of course, you can be inspired by the experience, vibrations, and energy of others, but ultimately, the connection has to be the self with God.

We must not teach new ones to sit specially, but teach them how to remember Baba. Guidance is given, that is a different thing, but the practice has to be of your personal relationship with Baba.

Then some take it too literally to another extreme and say, “I don't take drishti because Baba says that when somebody's conducting meditation, you remember Baba. So, I remember Baba, I remember Baba…”   We have to understand the true meaning behind Baba's teaching. Of course, powerful drishti enables us to go beyond that is also power. But the dependency of not being able to meditate without somebody conducting it. This is not the right practice.

Our connection should be with Baba, but we should also have equal respect for the instrument teachers who have the power to become the “conductor”. During conducted meditation, the teachers become the conductors at that time, guiding us in our practice. We should see the teacher as the conductor and ourselves as the musicians, playing the music. At that moment, the teacher is being pulled by Baba. They are flying, Baba pulls them like this (Didi clicking her fingers), like a string being pulled away. We are Baba’s angels, flying birds. When one bird flies, all birds begin to fly. It is an inspiration. Inspiration is different to dependency.

Some want to make others their followers, “Through me, this one had a very good experience. I conducted yoga and she had a vision.”

“Achcha. You conducted meditation and she has a vision. Achcha. How many of them in the class had a vision.”

“Only this one.”

Okay. So, what happened now the second time? You have given courses. How many stayed? That time was Baba’s miracle, Baba was giving power, not that you were giving the power. It is the training for the self, not to become dependent, nor to make anyone dependent on you. Otherwise, that attachment, that pull, will only keep you here, not take you there.

But, of course, the balance between, respect love, thanks appreciation to create an atmosphere like that.   Baba says, “When you make new ones sit in front of you, they become trapped in you tap into your name and form.” They would not like to have meditation with somebody else. It is strong but it is real. Baba says, “This is what experience says and this is why it is forbidden.” Do not make anyone dependent on this aspect.

Today Baba says, “You daughters came running in Karachi. Did you bring anything with you at that time? Nothing at all! You were sustained from Shiv Baba's treasure store. We children were all sustained with the wealth of those who surrendered themselves to Shiv Baba. This Baba did not know that they would all get together and come here in that way. Shiv Baba made it enter their intellects that the bhatthi had to be created, and so all of them came running.”

This is the story of when Brahma Baba left Hyderabad for Karachi. The Dadis, their families, and some brothers realised they could not bear to be without Baba's Murli. They quickly made a plan to travel to Karachi to hear Baba's Murli there. They communicated with each other and sent messages back and forth, and soon many of them took the train from Hyderabad to Karachi. When Baba saw that they had come, he immediately sent a telegram to their parents or husbands to let them know that their loved ones were there and were safe. It was the farsightedness of Brahma Baba. He knew that they had come for Shiva, but he also knew that their sudden disappearance could create allegations that he had kidnapped them. It was not just one or two, but the whole big group left. It was not that Baba wanted anything from us, if you are with Baba, you will receive everything.

Baba says, “We children were all sustained with the wealth of those who surrendered themselves to Shiv Baba.” At that time, Baba had 700,000 rupees from his share to sustain the children. And then after that Shantamani's parents, Ishu Dadi's parents, and Chandramani Dadi's parents also surrendered everything and followed Brahma Baba.

Baba did not know that they would come together and arrive in Karachi in this way. Overnight, all arrived in Karachi. Shiv Baba made it enter their intellects that the bhatthi had to be created, and so all of them came running. Of course, they did not literally run to Karachi, they went by train, but they made the decision to go there quickly and immediately. As I mentioned some of these parents brought their children with them, and took on the responsibility of sustaining everyone during their stay in Karachi.

Question: How can one person remove the influence of occult power?

Sudesh Didi:  Occult power is driven by selfish motives and weakness, because one is influenced by something external and believes that it is overpowering. What is more powerful, Godly power or occult power? The power of vices may be forceful, but it is not truly powerful. It is violent. Spiritual power is a divine blessing. When you are filled with the intoxication of Godly power, you become detached from the influences. Occult power is the influence of others but is based on attachment and ego. Who is with me, who is my Protector? Who is my Support? When there is this intoxication, that influence decreases and eventually disappears.

At times, it is our imagination. Other times, it is the result of our karmic account, in which we experience something as a consequence of the influence of another person. For example, we may lose money or fall ill due to someone else's influence, “Because of the influence of this person, I lost my money; because of the influence of this one, I am sick.” Imagination also is occult power. Doubt is also occult power.

So, Maya is occult power and God is divine power. So, it is up to us to decide in which power control we want to live. So, cultivate that intoxication, faith, and trust, then we are able to keep ourselves free from the negative influence of occult power. Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – The Wonder of Baba’s Love – 24th May 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London

28 May 2023

Om shanti. Today's blessing [at the end of the Murli]* was originally given to Dadiji and Didi by Avyakt BapDada  (Avyakt BapDada on 27/10/1981). And the question that arose was, how can this blessing apply to us and how we can receive it?

In order to do so, we must first understand the meaning of Godly love, wonderful love, special love. His love is wonderful when we really let go of the concept of the love we have had in this physical world, the kind of love that people taught us or gave us. We have become so accustomed to limited and temporary love that we have to let go and not compare the limited love with the unlimited love; the temporary love with constant love. Only then can we fully experience the wonderful love that He has to offer. Of course, we receive everything through His love.

People ask for health, wealth and happiness. And so, it is God's love that makes us healthy, wealthy and happy. It is a result. But the first thing is that this love is not anything gross. It is the experience of the soul, not of the body. It is not of the happiness of this world, and the happiness that comes with it is not temporary, but rather, constant and long-lasting.

In order to truly understand and experience God's love, we have to be open to the concept of what it means and its significance; to understand how God defines love and how He presents His love to us. Is my intellect actually open to experiencing that love or receiving that love? It is a loving intellect.

What is a loving intellect? It refers to those who, at the time of destruction, have love in their intellects, that their intellects are able to understand God's love. In order for this to happen, God Himself has to become the Teacher and imparts His teachings equally to everyone. Although speaking to the person who is in front of Him at that time, His love is  for all. And in that love, there is the faith that Baba is enabling us -- not of what we were expecting at that time when we were doing an action -- but in fact, expressing what God enables us to do. So, there is the appreciation of what we have received already.

In a worldly sense, we can feel when someone is showing us physical love, supporting us and cooperating with us. So, we make love limited, while God wants to give us unlimited support and love. The best way to experience true love is the inheritance of God's love; that love is destined for us because we are the children of God. We do not beg like devotees, only when there is a need for temporary things. In order to become free from sorrow, they ask for happiness, but they cannot experience love. They will definitely experience God's mercy. As a devotee, if they want that kind of love what devotees think is love. They do not experience God's love, but they do experience mercy temporarily based on their faith and their dedication. It gives reward and that is like in Copper Age, our temporary wishes are fulfilled, because of the feelings of faith, yet there is no understanding. This is given indirectly through someone, through statues, or through their devotion. So, mercy is a temporary thing.

Love is permanent; love is power; love is the energy that is not tangible. So, in l-o-v-e, “L” stands for letting go of old ideas and concepts about love. "O" represents being open to God's definition of love, this means I have to understand God. And He teaches me the way He gives, but I am still innocent and have much to learn. I have to learn so that I value. This is where the value of "V" comes in.

It is like the example of a child who receives many toys on his birthday and is very happy. And when he receives an envelope from his father and opens it with curiosity, he finds only a piece of paper. The child may feel disappointed and believe that God does not love him. The child may think that others love him more because they gave him many toys, while his father only gave him a piece of paper. But what the child does not know is that the piece of paper actually contains a value of £50,000. Yet, it was just a piece of paper to the child.

So, God is actually giving me such a valuable thing, which is good for the soul, but I do not realise the value. This is why knowledge is needed. “E” stands for education. So, He has to become the Teacher, so that I can enjoy his Love. I can fully experience and feel His love. And this is why, as our Teacher, He gives us the packet of knowledge and love. He teaches us with patience, hope, and deep wisdom. His love is both detached and powerful in every aspect.

He is my Teacher and will always remain the Teacher. He says yoga is love, a fire of love that purifies our intellect as well. And so, while He gives love, He will not give it to us in the examination hall. Otherwise, if He were to give us the certificate without us passing the exam, it would be considered corruption. This is because in the long run, we would be deceived into believing that we have a degree when we have not truly earned it. So, during difficult times, we may begin to doubt God's help, “God did not help me. I did not receive anything.”

But He does help us. But we should not expect that when I am on a battlefield. My battle is not with anything else external. My battle is with Maya, and what is Maya? My own weakness. We often use our weaknesses instead of our strengths. I am using the same weakness that others are also held captive by.

“Weakness” fights with “weakness”: jealousy fights with jealousy, anger fights with anger, lust demands lust, and ego fights with ego. So, I am actually using my weaknesses rather than my powers. So, He keeps me focused on strengthening my intellect. His love is righteous love. God's love is true love. True love does not interfere during the examination, He does not play my part. But rather He wants to see the results of what He has taught us, just like a teacher wants to see their students succeed. So, I am a student learning, I understand the value of education and the importance of applying what I have learned.

So, God's love is like that of a potter because love is love. He wants to save my life and shape my life. This means He wants to change my personality for the better through His love.

The basis is purity. So, He is the Truth, Satguru, true Light. And so, He gives us understanding, virtues and values and the Shrimat I have to follow, but at the same time, He gives strength, as a detached observer. So, His love is like that of a potter. In handmade pots, the potter shapes the pot, and the clay is very soft, it cannot be shaped just like this. So, He shapes it skilfully, and He gives fist power (Didi gestured molding the clay). He shapes, for example, a pot, a jar, or a pitcher. He molds the outer wall like this (Didi gestured patting her palm to her clenched fist with a strong grip to shape the outer wall of the pottery), and for the inside, He carefully and gently shapes the inner wall (Didi demonstrated with her gesture).

On the outside, many tests will come, and inside, He is giving me strength. So, I am able to face them while shaping myself. He makes Mother Drama where we are the hero actors.  So, that is His love, to make me a hero, but at the same time, many tests also come from my own self, my own sanskars, the sanskars of others. I have to understand His love, and at the same time, He is telling me that I have to work for it in order to receive it. This means that I have to take action and put in effort, and the reward will be there.

But this reward is incognito, this piece of paper, this cheque which is worth for 5000 years, it is not literally £50,000, it is “life is worth pounds”, while life used to be like a shell that could easily break and now, He is making your lives, He is saving your life, He is transforming your life, He is changing you from stone to paras (divine), the One who touches the iron changes into gold, and we also inspire others to do the same.

And this is what Dadi and Didi did. They cooperated with Him in every task, in every action, as what Baba wants, following Baba’s Shrimat. When we also follow Shrimat, the blessing belongs to us as well because our actions are practical proof, not only in the intellect, but are translated into actions, connection and how we handle situations. So, cooperation is not any physical act, but cooperation is also the qualities of the self: being peaceful, loveful, patient, and a detached observer.

For these powers, Baba gives us titles, but He is giving the titles beforehand. It is like attending medical school where you already know you are going to become a doctor, but the degree is only earned after passing practical exams at the end. The chance is here now, cure myself and cure others to make myself pure and help others to become pure. This is His love.

Question:  Is it true that Golden Aged rulers wash the feet of the first Silver Aged rulers during the transfer of the throne? If so, what is the significance behind it, as such a ritual has been remembered then in devotion?

Sudesh Didi: Actually, our actions are our feet, and it is respect. On the path of devotion, everything has been taken literally. Baba says, “You don't need to touch My feet.” At the end the Golden Age, it is respect that even those who have reached Silver Age time as they are becoming rulers. The ninth inheritance, the ninth-generation throne, and the kingdom will be given to the ninth Emperor, following the eight Emperors in Golden Age, the ninth Emperor will be Rama. It is called Ram Navami (celebration of the birth of Lord Rama). Now, at that time the one who was the first in the eighth birth would consider certainly this one is capable now, so, there is respect for them. To respect does not mean to wash the feet. It is not a literal thing. It means that they are enabling them to maintain every action which they have learned at the Confluence Age.

Question: Regarding the concept of supersensuous joy, someone once said it was “not drama-based joy” and is not connected to any specific events taking place in drama, the type of happiness Brahma Baba had before and after Shiv Baba showed him what happiness is. Can you elaborate on that?

Sudesh Didi: Shiv Baba showed Brahma Baba what true happiness is.  Brahma Baba did not know what happiness was. he had wealth, a good position, respect in society, worthy children, a loving and respectful wife, and was content with his family, wealth, and position. But he did not know what true happiness was. Real happiness is supersensuous joy, it is not something that can be achieved by external music, external taste or external beauty. You will begin to realise it comes from the beauty inside and that is called supersensuous joy. It is not based on the senses, but is rather, beyond the senses, and that is hearing the music of the mind.

When we hear the sound of the soul, the soul’s heart is the feelings of the mind; the soul’s eye is the light in the intellect; the soul’s organs are the divine actions, expressed through the body and personality. When we can see the beauty in all of this and help others, we feel happy. This kind of happiness is called supersensuous joy. It is an achievement that goes beyond the senses. Happiness is a result of this achievement, and when we can enjoy it with detachment, it becomes supersensuous joy.

Om shanti.

*Blessing from 24th May Murli:
May you claim the future throne of the kingdom by being seated on the seat of tapasya and service.
The children who are close here on the seat of service will also be close to the throne of the kingdom in the future. The more you are co-operative in doing service here, the more you will be a constant companion in the kingdom. Here, you have a seat of tapasya and service and there, you will have the throne of the kingdom. Here, you are a companion in every action by having remembrance of BapDada. In the same way, there, you will be a companion from childhood to ruling the kingdom. Those who are constantly close, constantly companions, constantly co-operative and constantly seated on the seat of tapasya and service will be seated on the throne in the future.

Sudesh Didi – The Four Stories – 17th May 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London

20 May 2023

Om shanti. Baba mentioned four stories in the Murli today.

The first story was about Lakshman and how he became unconscious, and then regained consciousness in life again. This story is a practical experience of this time, and is returned later on in the form of different scriptures. It is our collective experience and we have all contributed to it. Those who wrote the scriptures added new ideas and inventions in their writing. This is why there is a mixture.

Lakshman was known for his unwavering devotion to God (Rama) and his ability to stay focused on his aim and objective. Not only did he stayed in the line of code and conduct himself, but he also inspired others to do the same. This is why he drew the Lakshmanrekha for Sita, which represents the line of the code of conduct. If you maintain this code of conduct, you will be safe from harm and Ravan cannot come in. But if you step outside of this line, you are in prison of Ravan.

Lakshman's story is one of triumph in his battle against Ravan. He was able to conquer many challenges. But he was eventually defeated by Ravan's son, Meghnad (one whose cry sounds like thunder). Meghnad symbolises a form of ego that creates fear in others but is ultimately empty and meaningless. Like thunderclouds that make a lot of noise but never produce rain, Meghnad's power was based on a false sense of superiority.

Some of this part of the code of conduct is very subtle, and Lakshman became unconscious. But it was not the actual arrow that hit him. It was his belief that he was very pure and others were impure that led to that. The seed of this belief began before he was hit by Meghnad. When Rama and Lakshman were travelling, they encountered an ordinary village woman who was a sweeper. She wanted to offer Rama something and picked some beautiful cherry berries. She tasted them first to ensure they were not sour, and then offered them to Rama, who accepted them with great love. But Lakshman thought that the woman had eaten the fruits herself before offering them to Rama. So, he took the fruits and threw them away secretly, and they landed on a nearby mountain. This left significant consequences. Ego came in of his own purity and his aim and objective. Some time passed, that seed became bush there.

After Lakshman was hit, he became unconscious and nothing could bring him in consciousness. He was in Rama’s lap and even Rama could not revive him.

Hanuman thought, "I have the power to fly, so I can bring back the life-giving herb." Hanuman was a conqueror of respect and disrespect, a destroyer of ego, and a humble servant. This is the consciousness that arose at the time. He flew up the mountain and pondered which part of the herb was the life-giving herb: the trunk, skin, or flower. He decided to lift the entire mountain and flew back before sunrise. Lakshman was given the herb, and he came back to life.

This story teaches us that when we realise our mistake such as comparing ourselves to others and thinking we are higher and closer to God, this realisation can bring us back to life, just as the life-giving herb brought Lakshman back to life.

The significance of the story lies in the fact that our ego can hit us very strongly. Conquering our ego is the final aim and objective. It represents the highest and subtlest level of impurity, residing in our intellect. We must conquer it, or we may become unconscious.

The second story is about Khuda dost (friend of God)). God, being our Friend, gives opportunities to everyone. The story is about a king, and how Khuda dost used to sit incognito on a bridge, changing his costume. Whichever person passed him first was given the kingdom for a day, without knowing why. It was a test to see who was there, and that person was announced as the king for the day. Many people came and went, enjoying their day as king according to their intellect.

One day, a cobbler passed by and became the king. He thought, "Today, I am a king, and I want to do what I want to do. I want to become very rich because I have to work so hard to make shoes and earn a living." So, he ordered all the leather in the king's store to be changed into money. He made leather coins and became very rich.

The next day, the kingdom had to be given to someone else. The cobbler's intellect was focused on his shoes, leather, which represented body consciousness. To him, leather was everything - his property, his duty, his everything. He focused on the body, and this caused him to work hard to repair what he had damaged himself. He had to sew the leather into coins, which was a lot of hard work. This story teaches us that body consciousness makes us work hard, and we lose our value when we focus on the body. The intellect's discrimination power is not there, and this is the meaning behind body consciousness.

Continuing from the second story, another person became the king for a day after the cobbler. He thought about the purpose of a king - to give the subjects what they were looking for and what was beneficial for them. He realised that the future lay in the children, and they had to be made powerful. So, in just one day, he built many schools. He also built a beautiful garden with flowers for the elderly to enjoy. He had many different ideas for different people to support them, focusing on the subjects' welfare rather than his own.

He also built a big house like a palace for himself, but he had already built many buildings for others the previous day. The real king thought that he was wise and benevolent, and he later made him his minister. All the properties he built for the kingdom belonged to him, not just for one day. Baba says He gives us the opportunity, but it is up to our intellect how we use it.

The third story is about Allah-Avaldin, Alibaba and the 40 Thieves. The name "Allah-Avaldin", Aval means first, din means religion. So the name was also "Aladdin," which means "God who establishes the first religion." He was incognito, and the 40 Thieves were with Him, meaning they were doing something secretly like being a thief, doing things quietly and incognito.Baba is like Allah-Avaldin, and he can make things happen just by clapping his hands or rubbing the lamp. This brings light and all the treasures emerge; enlightenment and attainment.

The fourth story is about Hatamtai, a bead in the mouth. The story goes that two people were constantly fighting with each other. One person was so troubled by the other's behaviour that he could not cope with it. His adviser suggested that he should put a bead or some water in his mouth whenever he found himself in such a situation. He was told to keep it inside for 10 to 15 minutes, and it would work.

So, he followed the advice and kept the bead or water in his mouth while the other person kept shouting. Eventually, the shouting stopped, and they thought that it had no effect on him. The fighting stopped, and their friendship was restored instead of enmity.

So, if Maya is troubling you, many thoughts are there, keep the bead that I am a victorious soul, and keep Baba, the Seed, in your mouth and all the problems will finish. This is the moral of the story.

Charlie bhai (UK Visit) – Perfection through True Love – 19th May 2023 Morning Class - GCH, London

19 May 2023

Om shanti. Good morning. Good morning. It is really lovely to be in London; very lovely to be in this gathering. Whenever I come to London, however short, I remember the days of my childhood. I used to go to the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain. Dadi Janki and Sister Jayanti used to go and give talks there in the 1970s, and I went along. And as soon as I saw them, there was something so familiar about them. Then, I came and did the course. Guess who gave me the course? Sudesh Didi!  When Sudesh Didi and I were together in Pune recently, I asked Didi if I was her first course in English, she said, “I think so.” Then, I started to come to the centre and there were a few of us. We rented the flat across the bhavan in Tennyson Road. Such sweet memories of those times. I feel so blessed to be here when Dadi was so present and so powerful. I would like to share something which was really impactful for me.

A few years ago, the year before Covid, I went to Pakistan; I was invited to an interfaith conference in Pakistan in Lahore (2nd largest City in Pakistan after Karachi), which was an incredible experience. It was the only interfaith conference they have in Pakistan. The head of all of Pakistan's universities came, and he was giving his speech. Although I did not meet him, he said, “I'm so happy that this conference is going on. And I'm really happy that the Brahma Kumaris are here.” It was really quite extraordinary.

After the conference, I went to Karachi. I was taking leave from Dadi in Shakti Bhavan in Shantivan, I think all of you remember that seat where she used to sit, with all her blessings and tolis. So, we had been chatting and she started to get me a blessing and toli, and I said, “Dadi, I'm going to Pakistan.” And she stopped and said, “Pakistan? Take my soul with you.” Then, she asked, “Where are you going?” And I said, “I'm going to Lahore and Karachi.” She said, “You must go to Hyderabad, too.” Unfortunately, I did not go to Hyderabad but it was really touching, somehow feels something deep about our yagya, it feels something really deep. I got a real flavour, somehow, about the early days.

The first place I went to was Brahma Baba’s house. which is absolutely beautiful, a beautiful sandstone colonial house, because Baba did not live with the sisters. The court did not allow him at the time. And the house is now owned by Pakistan's top fashion designer. He was in New York at the time, so we had a look around the whole house and at the back of the house was the service quarters. What the sisters in Karachi said was said Baba would sometimes even walk to Kunj Bhavan which was two and a half kilometres. You would have seen that old car in some of the photos with Dadi Nirmalshanta driving the car. So, sometimes, he would also drive a car.

Then, we went to the port where they left, you would have seen in the photos, Sydenham port. And we also went to Clifton Beach, you have seen in those photos. Clifton Beach is now four kilometres from the ocean because of the reclaimed land. Apparently, when Dadi went there, she was not happy with it at all, because they used to walk down the end of this road and there was Clifton Beach. I went to Kunj Bhavan. And I got such an incredible feeling in that place, so amazing, it is such a grand old place. It is huge. After Baba left. It became a hotel, then it became the Russian embassy. It is now a school. When I walked in, over the door, it says: Don't get angry; don't gossip; don't do this… Baba’s vibrations! His vibrations still. It was such an incredible feeling moving around this building.

In a way, what I felt was the amazing love that came with Shiv Baba. And my sense was that in a shift by the Ocean of Love just came into Brahma Baba and filled him with so much love. I feel Baba just was so besotted with Shiv Baba that he just left everything. He did not think that he was renouncing. He just was so pulled by Shiv Baba. Once, I was in Calcutta in 1980. We went to Calcutta for a conference with Dadi Prakashmani. When I was there, Dada Anand Kishore was there. Everyone remembers Dada AK. He took me to where he was working with Brahma Baba in the shop, when Brahma Baba was Dada Lekhraj. It was a market in Calcutta called the New Market. And we went to Baba’s shop, it is still the same. Dada AK introduced us to a lot of Sindhi jewellers, who were still there in 1980, when Brahma Baba was there. And they bought out a photo album of those days and there was a photo of Dada Anand Kishore, when he was wearing these beautiful latest clothes from London and had those shirts with those little collars, and he was leaning on his Mercedes Benz. This really made me realise that they were really social people. I tended to think that they were all yogis. So, their transformation is absolutely incredible.

This really made me feel, how Shiv Baba came into Brahma Baba filled him with that love and that natural renunciation and completely, it is love that enables us to let everything go. And then BapDada did the same with the Dadis; how the Dadis fulfilled that love and let everything go. They were such natural yogis.

Once in the 1980s, I was in Sydney, and Didi Manmohini was going to New York. Dadi Janki  rang me from London, and said to me, “It'd be good if you could go to New York.” And I said, “When, Dadi?” She said, “Tomorrow.”  So, in one day, I got leave from my work, and I flew to New York via London. But on the way back to Australia, I stopped in Madhuban. One morning, Dadi Prakashmani was reading the Murli, when all the Dadis had come  for a meeting, but there was not a scheduled meeting of BapDada.

Dadi Prakasjmani would read a few lines of the Murli and say, “Look, all of the Baba’s special children are here. Baba should come and meet you.” And then she would read a few more lines, and kept saying this. At the end of the Murli, she said, “Gulzar, come.” This was straight after morning Murli like we are now. Dadi Gulzar, being the incredibly obedient soul, came and went up, and Baba came spontaneously, at eight o'clock in the morning. What I remember was Baba said, “I haven't come up to speak the Murli. I've come to fulfil the love of the children.” For two hours, all those original sisters came, and they lay across Avyakt BapDada’s lap, and Baba held them, patted them, stroke them and cuddled them.

As I watched, I was thinking, “Now I know why the Dadis became the Dadis.” Because Baba filled them with that much love that it just pulled them. I feel this is the real natural Raja Yoga that Baba is teaching us. Many times, I feel, we can describe this path in a very sort of technical way. As we go further, what is it like? It is to fall in love with Shiv Baba.

I even remember asking Jayanti bhen once, “What have you learned from Dadi after living with her over 50 years?” Straightaway, she said, “How to love Baba.” And to me when I absolutely fall in love with Baba; it is in our DNA to fall in love, we naturally remember. When we naturally remember, we naturally transform. When we naturally transform, we naturally do service. We do not do service because I have a clever intellect, or because I have all these skills. My face and my vibrations absolutely do service.

So, it was such a wonderful feeling for me to go to Karachi to get the fragrance of the early days, it really filled something in me. I remember once, in an RC meeting, with Dadi Janki, once again. She just gave such loving drishti. Her eyes just became these little radiant light bulbs of love. Incredible… and I remember her words. She, for 10 or 15 minutes, just gave drishti, then she said, “It's love that makes me move; it's love that's makes me tireless; it's love that's taken me beyond all obstacles in this journey. And it's love that made me unlimited.”

And Dadi said, “Love is like a sakaash. Learn how to draw true love from Baba.”  And those words I remember. I have a very selective memory, and some things that are impactful, I really do remember. And sometimes I ask myself that question: This is the only time in eternity we can know the highest quality of love. Every one of us, I feel, on the path of devotion, had searched for that relationship, that love, that belonging, that connection, that feeling of safety. And this is the only time in eternity I can really taste that quality of love. Am I really feeling that? Am I really tasting that?

This is a question I would ask myself because, for me, I think the biggest challenge in this life is to become ordinary, how we just get into “the mode”. We love Baba; we have faith in Baba, but we just get into that pattern of “going on”. It is important to just to stop and ask myself: What's going on here? Am I really tasting that quality of love? Because to me, this this is really what easy Raja Yoga is about; not difficult Raja Yoga, but easy Raja Yoga.

Once, I spent some time with Jagdish Bhai in Delhi. I asked him if I could come and stay in Shakti Nagar for a night. And he said, “Yes, you can come.” When I arrived. I said, “Can I have some time, I have some questions.” He said, “I've got half an hour.” After dinner, we talked till midnight, instead.  It was such a rich time. He was an extraordinary soul.

I remember Jagdish Bhai saying one thing to me, which my selective memory really zoned in; he said: The cycle is a love story. The whole of the Golden Age is a world of love. And sometimes if you get your head into the atmosphere, there is no concept of “you and me”, “us and them”, “like and dislike”, it does not exist in the framework of our thinking at all. Imagine the atmosphere. What he said was that when we come to the Copper Age, it is not that we stopped loving. We just love the wrong things. It is simple as that. So, when I love my own body, it becomes the ego. And when I love the bodies of others, it becomes lust and attachment. When I love material things that becomes greed. All the vices are perverted forms of love. Then, Jagdish Bhai said that at this time, Baba comes and educates us what is accurate love, what is true love.

I remember once Baba said that true love is to love that which always exists. When I make my own platform in this life, fundamentally, I have love for Baba and love for myself as a soul. We start this incredible natural transformation. Baba has given us this amazing education, of really shifting our love. That is all we really have to do.

In one way, I think all I have to do in this Brahmin life is to refocus my love. That is, from temporary to eternal, from physical to spiritual, from love based on emotion to love based on truth. You know how Baba uses that lovely language: a loving intellect. A loving intellect, to me, is an intellect which love is based on truth. This is why I think Baba and the Dadis had so much impact because even if we fluctuate, we go up and down, we go left and right. When there is a loving intellect, then you know your value and beauty and focuses on that. Then, no matter how much we fluctuate, that vision is still towards that elevated part. From dependent love to pure lovely, this incredible education, Baba is teaching us really know how to love accurately.

I remember when I was turned 30 years in gyan, those of us from foreign countries who were 30 years with Baba, were asked to stand up at the Diamond Hall. Baba said to us, “Set a date for perfection.” A few of us were thinking, “How do you do that?” It is a very deep thing to have an aim on where I want to go. Afterwards, a few of us were asking, “What is perfection? What does perfection really look like in a real sense?” Not a sort of a theoretical thing, but how does perfection look like in real life? The next Murli, Baba said that, perfection is to have loving feelings like everyone.

This is an amazing thing. We look at the world we live in; a world with every imaginable set of sanskars, behaviours, attitudes, and opinions. To be totally under Baba’s canopy, that I can really have those feelings for everyone, I feel this is where Baba wants to take us, and where I would love to go to.

I left Australia two and a half weeks ago, and I went to Mauritius for a week which was so lovely. On Sunday morning, there was 800 people in morning class. I was here (in London) for a night, then I went to Greece for four days which was also really lovely. After, I came through Oxford, Manchester to come here. Then I travel to Belgium for a week. And then, I will go all the way back to Australia. It is lovely to be here, to meet everyone. I hope next time in drama, we will have a bit longer time to catch up with everyone.

Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – Do Not Let Go of Baba’s Hand – 15th May 2023 Sunday Morning Class - GCH, London

16 May 2023

Om shanti. Om shanti. Om shanti. Good morning. Just now you have heard Srimad Bhagavad Gita from Basavaraj bhai; the essence of Shri-mat Bhagavad Gita. So, what did Baba say today? What is Shrimat? How to keep to Srhimat all the time? Shrimat, Baba’s versions, always stay with us. Baba ka haath mein haath leke chalo , walk with Baba, holding Baba’s Hand in your hand. Is it the physical hand or is it the hand of the intellect? What is God's Hand then? He does not have Hands.

Baba says, “Hold my Hand in your hand.” But which hand should we use to hold Baba’s hand? Once we hold Baba's Hand, Baba becomes my true Friend, true Companion, true Beloved and true Guide. Today, Baba explains that it is a common fashion, especially in the West, to walk hand in the hand. So, Baba’s Shrimat is Baba’s Hand, and our intellect is our hand. When our intellect grasps Shrimat, it becomes divine. When the intellect becomes divine, our register begins to become clean and clear.

The biggest impurity is the ego of my own intellect. When we think, “I say this, I understand this,” we are like Arjuna and his argumentative questions. So, many questions arise, because the whole Gita is about, “How can this happen?” “What will happen? How, when, what and where?”  As soon as the intellect is clean, the own dictates of our mind come to an end, because the ego of your own understanding is royal Maya which will never allow us to be a humble instrument.  It is when Arjuna realized this, and then the ego of “I” went away, that he was able to move forward.

So today Baba teaches us to make our intellect divine and let go of the false “I”. Instead, we should have the awareness of “I” as the instrument or nimit, for the sake of Baba using us. You are an instrument. An instrument does not play itself; it is played by someone else. For example, is this microphone speaking by itself or is it used by someone else? Similarly, a guitar or piano does not start playing by itself; it is played by a guitarist or pianist. Otherwise, it is just an object. The intellect becomes dull when this consciousness is not there. The intellect should be aware that Karakaravanhar (the One who does and inspires us to do) is making it happen through us. So, this consciousness makes us nimit (instrument) and makes us humble or nirmaan. As we become humble, very easily, gentleness and purity come, impurity starts to fade away. And we become nirmal, clean and pure, and our register becomes clean, otherwise register is always tainted and spoiled by the influences of “I” and “mine,” possessiveness and my ideas.

The result of being an instrument and being humble in God's work, the two together, is the creation of the New World, or Vishwa Nav Nrimaan can begin. The new world is created with this new awareness of who we belong to, who our Companion is, and what is being taught to us. God made us instruments. He uses the instrument to speak the Murli. We call it the Murli (Flute), the Murli cannot be played if there is something stuck inside the bamboo. It cannot be played if there is dust, rubbish, or anything else collected inside. Similarly, this Murli is played through Brahma’s mouth because Brahma kept his heart clean, intellect divine, and actions according to the direction of God. So, he became instrumental in the establishment.

Brahma became an instrument of practical tapasya. He became first as the avyakt Angel, bodiless, surrendering completely. He became an instrument of tyaag, tapasya and seva, (renunciation, intense meditation, and service). Because he was the best student, he achieved the highest status first.

Brahma is often depicted with three faces representing the different roles he plays. So, Brahma is the same hero who plays different roles through these faces, during the Confluence Age and the Golden Age. The Trimurti Shiv Shakti, and along with the fourth face, that symbolises this knowledge that Baba speaks of, which spreads in all directions to the east, west, north south. Through knowledge Baba, Baba’s Character, Baba’s Darshan is revealed. One can experience practical vision and realization; this is what is meant by darshan.

I also want to thank Basavaraj bhai for your beautiful explanation of the Gita and the shlok (verses). It is so wonderful that they have the opportunity to hear the shlok of the Gita.

Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – The Power of Closeness – 9th May 2023 Evening Class - GCH, London

16 May 2023

Om shanti. Om shanti. Why are we here tonight? What for? For a meeting. It is a family meeting. What is the meaning of meeting? And what is difference between "meeting" and "seeing each other"?

Are we seeing each other or meeting each other tonight? And those who are attending online (webcast), are they simply observing or are they also able to interact with others? During a Zoom meeting, we can see each other from a distance. When we physically meet each other, it means being present.

Dadi Janki, would always call those who attend to come and sit in the front.  She would call those who were at the back to come in front, so what was in her heart?

When there is closeness, meeting means being close to each other. Closeness can be in two ways: practical closeness where we physically meet and greet each other, “Okay? Hello. Om Shanti. How are you?” Can we consider this as having met each other? Or through meeting together online “Hello online, my brothers and sisters. How are you?”  I understood this morning when it was announced in Hindi class that tonight there would be “a class”, and in English class it was announced “sharing”.  So, now three aspects: meet the family, sharing and conducting a class. Baba conducts the class in the morning and all of us are attending the class. Baba is the Teacher and we are studying in the same class.

(Over 100 people are viewing the live webcast) So, while being so far apart, I remember those joining us online. In fact, in the morning, there are usually more online participants than those who are physically present. It is said that while sitting at home, God showers you with His blessings and love. Similarly, we are also experiencing this love and connectedness through sharing during our meeting, which makes us feel close to each other. What is this power of being close to each other called?

This power of closeness is known as the meeting of two different personalities with a true existence, who share the same qualities or properties that attract them to meet. This is known as magnetic energy. Iron boosts another iron; when iron is near another piece of iron, it boosts its magnetic properties. Similarly, when a magnet is near another piece of iron, it is attracted to it and the two come together, even from a distance. The magnets do not fight with each other, but rather are naturally drawn to each other and meet in harmony.

One aspect of meeting is meeting with Baba, but Baba is not a physical person. As He said yesterday that we cannot see Him with physical eyes. Yet all of us connect with Him, and are so happy to sing the song from the heart:  Humne dekha, humne paya, Shiv Bhola Bhagwan, Shiv Bhola Bhagwan. (We saw, we found Shiva the Innocent God, Shiva the Innocent God.) My throat is saying; it is so happy. I have seen, I have met the Innocent Lord. But how have you seen Him? How have you met Him?

Those who are viewing the live webcast are also meeting, but they are not able to communicate directly with us, which is a limitation. With Zoom, there is the facility that you can communicate with each other. In fact, when we are physically present, we are able to create an atmosphere of sharing and meeting. What is meeting?

Meeting is about sharing, and it is Baba Himself who creates these qualities in us; Baba’s qualities become our qualities. Then, there is harmony amongst us which allow us to share our heartfelt feelings, experiences, achievements, efforts, challenges, and problems with each other. This creates a sense of family and friendship. When we study together, we face the same kind of challenges, and some are able to understand better, others less. But with trust, respect, and a good feeling towards each other, we are able to give cooperation.

In yesterday’s blessing (Sakar Murli 08/05/23), Baba shared a beautiful definition of cooperation.  Even if the other person's personality is different from yours and you recognise that it needs to change, you do not create the atmosphere that “This one said this, that one did that,” that person is like that, but you put the things which have gone wrong into what is right, and doing so with pure feelings and good wishes. And that is called the real cooperation.

Every day's blessing is deep, significant, and full of strength, power, and bringing us closer to one another. Meeting each other creates closeness, while family and friendship mean sharing our achievements and the situations we are going through.  Baba teaches us that when we help each other, it is called service. And we are on Godly service. Godly services are unlimited and many places family is the same, service is the same. So, Baba sends us at different places to serve. So, this week, I went with Sister Sucharita to different places for service.

During these visits, we were able to meet the family, greeting the families, serve then, and deepen our understanding of how Baba's power allows us to truly understand and listen to one another. It was wonderful to create an atmosphere where everyone could enjoy being part of a Godly family, an experience that felt like a chance and a fortune. Some who are enjoying automatically bring joy to others, as Baba said, your happiness, your cheerful face should be such that you don't have to say, “Come and see what is happiness”, they are so attracted, and see what you have achieved, wherever you got this power from, and they are pulled. In this way, through you, they meet Baba, the Magnet, or you become an attraction in between Baba’s knowledge and Baba’s qualities, which is radiating with Baba’s light and might to each Baba’s child.

During our service trip, we first visited Munich, a place I had not been to in three years. Over the past few years, the lockdown has had a significant impact on many Brahmins who used to attend regularly. It might seem like this influence is not Maya, but rather the energy of matter. We do not refer to it as Maya, but as the natural nature. There have been numerous discussions surrounding politics and the desire of certain countries to control the world in the wake of the Coronavirus. These discussions have centred around the origin of the virus, its intentions, and whether or not to take the vaccine. This led to intense conversations among some individuals.

But the impact of the lockdown has been significant, affecting many people both directly and indirectly. It has affected the Brahmin family as well. It became such a habit that even though coming to Baba's home was possible, but now, we have the facility to connect with each other on Zoom, which we felt it is good, “It is easy, and we do not have to physically go anywhere. If the class is at seven o'clock, we can sleep until a quarter to seven and still attend the class. We can freshen up later and take a shower later.” It is interesting how we can be subtly influenced by certain circumstances without even realising it. Although we miss meeting with each other, instead of putting effort in making ourselves strong and more powerful, we think it is okay, and still feel satisfied and happy.

Many people say that they listen to the class in London every day and do not miss it. I say “No”, as meeting with each other is the real meeting. What I am trying to say is that after this period, regular attendance has decreased everywhere, but this kind of presence brings us together again.

I went to Munich first, where there was a class for Hindi speakers. They were present beforehand, and we also served Brahma Bhojan after class. By the time we finished the meeting with each other, it was already 1:30 pm, and the next class was at three o'clock. We decided to have Brahma Bhojan and let those who were coming attend the other class. More people joined us while we were eating, and we attended the second class together until five o'clock. There was also a German-speaking class and a separate class for regular Brahmins, contact souls, and old Brahmins.

Hans was not there, and the programme was made suddenly. Some sisters and brothers from Munich said they were not able to go to the retreat. So, I decided to go to Munich instead of going to Frankfurt first. There was the Hindi retreat. Hans said, "Didi, I will not be here." I said, "No problem. Just give someone the information, and if they want to come, they will come."

The class was for those who have been in Gyan for a long time, have met many times, and have taken sustenance. The whole class was full, and not a single seat was free. Personal meetings automatically reminded each other of the specialities of cooperation and love. It not only reminds us, but it also makes the experience fresh. During the daytime, those who attended the class shared their experiences, and I also shared mine. Some who attended daytime class asked if they could bring their family members to the next class in the evening, and I agreed. As the German class in the evening was full, they said, “It’s okay we can wait outside.” This literally happened and they had to wait outside, bringing with them their husbands, children, and friends. So, the Hindi speaking families were sitting outside in the entrance area on the floor because all the chairs were in the German class. The class finished at 9 o'clock, and we distributed tolis and everything. By the time we finished, it was already quarter past 9. At quarter to 10, I had my dinner. Overall, the day was filled with meeting, greeting, and enjoying each other's company, sharing our experiences, and providing extra attention to new souls. Some of them then went to the retreat in Moringen as well.

During the class in Munich, some expressed their interest in going to the retreat place in Moringen if there were still spaces available. The next day, we left for Frankfurt, which is a place where Baba's children are close to each other as they have been there for a long time. In the evening, we had a public programme, and I met with some BKs who were not able to attend the morning class. We had a good question-and-answer session, and I provided them with a deep personal meeting. The public programme was attended by contact souls, Brahmins, and also new ones. The next morning, we had the Hindi Murli class at quarter to five after Amrit Vela, which is the regular system there. I only take two days, Thursday, and Sunday, for the class at four o'clock our time, which is Murli class there.

It was a great joy for them that I was physically present in Germany to conduct the Murli class. The morning Murli class was in Hindi, followed by the German Murli class at 7 o'clock, and then the regular class. We also had some activities and meetings during the day.

On Thursday morning, after offering bhog, I went to Cologne. The class in Cologne was similar to Munich, with separate classes for Hindi and German speakers. The Hindi class was at 5 o'clock in the morning, followed by the Murli class at 6 o'clock. After that, I went to the Moringen retreat centre, which was completely full because all the available seats were taken.

During those few days, not a single minute was free to even read messages. It was an easy busy day, but it was also very beautiful. We had the opportunity to meet and greet each other, just like meeting with family. We shared the news of the day and many good points came to mind from the Murli and signals as well.

I remember one point which was very powerful: checking our account of service every day, including our mind, speech, and karma yoga. And in that one subtle point was that how our karmic account is created when we are serving together with each other. By doing karma yoga and staying in Baba's remembrance, we create a double account. One is with yoga we perform elevated action and then that action that we are doing in Baba’s remembrance, this becomes the double account of service through the mind action and also inspiring others to do the same.

So, we are able to do three types of service only by being together in karma yoga. We are able to do service with each other, when we create that harmony, because tests are at that time, we also check yourself at that time, when you are in the same department or in the same type of service, whether you are able to accept and respect each other's ideas and values. We act immediately when necessary and have patience to listen and understand each other's perspectives at the same time.

Maturity is by having patience, accepting others' ideas, and respecting their values, listening to others, okay, if your ideas are not accepted, have patience. If that is really Baba’s plan, if you say Baba has touched me, then it will touch others as well. And if you are possessive and stubborn to that idea, it means you have mixed the alloy in the gold. Even if your ideas are gold, are very valuable, but “my idea”, “my planning”, when that is mixed in it, this decreases the value of the idea, and you may continue to cling to it, thinking it is important. This is what Baba emphasises we should not do this.  Otherwise, we create account for not having the value of patience and respect for others and acceptance for each other. Patience and trust are very important, both in the self and in Baba's drama plan. We must trust that it is part of Baba's plan and have patience for it to be accepted. This way, we can create a valuable account of service and respect for each other.

The second checking is also very important. For example, if I present an idea in a meeting and it is not accepted, I must keep patience and not take it personally. I may not be loud or respected by all, but I must remember that it was Baba's touching and not just my opinion. If someone else presents the same idea two years later and it is accepted and implemented quickly, I should not react with jealousy or think that they did not accept my idea. If I mixed "mine" with the idea and said "my idea," I must check my reaction and be happy that Baba used another instrument to implement it, “Baba is wonderful. You never give up. It did not happen at that time, and so, you use another instrument.” It is good to have the consciousness of being an instrument. As an instrument, there are the feelings of nimit, nirmal and nirmaan and nirmarn (instrument, pure and clean, humble, create). There are these four words.

Consider yourself to be nimit, as an instrument, that Baba is using you to present His plan. But an instrument does not play by itself. It needs a player. Just like a flute, whether it is made of wood, silver, or gold, still needs a player. Similarly, Baba is the Karakaravanhar, (the one who does and inspires others to do). The player does not use the same instrument all the time. Sometimes this instrument is left aside to be used at the right time. We must have patience and not lose hope in ourselves.

Another important thing to remember is that the flute can only be played when the bamboo is empty inside, clean and clear. If there is any sensitivity or possessiveness, such as "mine" and "yours," the flute will not play properly. So, Baba will only play the flute if our hearts are clean, nirmal, (pure and clean). When we keep our hearts clean and clear, creativity takes place. If anything is inside, creativity cannot take place. This is why it is important to have a pure heart.

When creativity is successful, we receive cooperation, appreciation, and success. But we must not think that it was our idea. We are instruments being used to carry out Baba's task. We must express our appreciation to Baba, “Thank you, Baba,” in this way, nirmaan (humble). These four words are very valuable.

In the Murlis and blessings, I received different points, but the main focus this time was the retreat. The retreat included bhatti, meditation, classes, and cultural programme, and time went by so quickly. I arrived on the 1st and returned on the 8th, and during those 8 days, I received personal insights. When we share with others and give to others, it is not just for them, but it is also for ourselves. Baba always reminds us to check how much is inside us, and this helps us to grow even more. I am more and more grateful to Baba, thank you to Baba, the Supreme Teacher, Father, Teacher, and Satguru, for all that I have received.

As usual, every Murli is special, and the service was also very powerful. I had the opportunity to conduct some classes on the Murli teachings as well.

Thank you for being present here, whether in person or through the webcast. Yes, 100 are joining us online. Although this is called a meeting, it is not just about seeing or watching, but about feeling a sense of closeness. Even those who are physically present here, why did Dadi Janki used to call us to come to the front? It was because her heart was like a magnet, pulling everyone closer. Baba also teaches us that some kinds of vibrations are generated more when there is closeness, double closeness.

This is what a meeting is all about - not just shaking hands, but cooperating with each other and having heart-to-heart conversations. The closer we are, the more we can share and connect with each other. In the same way, the meeting is with the self first.

As we meet and share ideas, the real meeting that matters is the one we have with the self. Is my mind, intellect, and sanskars meeting (aligned with) each other? Sometimes, I notice a gap between my thought, feeling, understanding and behaviour. The more we strengthen this inner meeting and make it constant, the stronger its magnetic pull becomes. This enables us to connect with Baba and enjoy His company through the practice of Manmanabhav - keeping our mind connected with Baba and enjoying His Company.

When we are connected with Baba and the mind is enjoying it, there is no waste or unnecessary thoughts in our mind. We only think of what Baba is giving us through His teachings. Our intellect is faithful and touched by Baba's knowledge, and suddenly, jewels of knowledge begin to flow. Our relationship with Baba becomes stronger, and this helps us to strengthen our relationships with our family, friends, schoolmates, colleagues, and even strangers we meet on our journey.

By having a strong inner meeting with ourselves, we can connect with others in a meaningful way and move forward towards our destination.

Sudesh Didi – The Culture of Truth - 10th May 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London

11 May 2023

Om shanti. Today, Baba emphasised the power of truth and the importance of revealing it through our actions and behaviour. When truth is revealed naturally, it reflects in our civilisation, manners, virtues in practical reality. And it should be revealed through your features, face and character, and behaviour. What is the meaning of “civilisation of truth”? Truth is civil, gentle and it is natural. Truth is not forceful, and devoid of any falsehood or need for proof. The thought of proving truth does not even arise because truth does not need to be proved; truth is the experience of the qualities related with it, and this is known as truth.

Truth is the power of righteousness, and righteousness is right. Something which is right and righteous possesses natural qualities and power that do not require proof. Only when we try to display truth and show off it, it becomes just a picture, but not the true character. The sun naturally radiates light, warmth is a natural property of it. The sun is shining and sharing light; you do not need to prove that it is very warm, it is very hot. The warmth is the property and does not make a show. It does not try to demonstrate but gives you the experience of it. So, truth is not a spectacle for showcase. Truth is revealed where it really lies.

Truth is eternal. It is pure and original, without mixture. When we mix truth with any kind of intention only to please others, we distort the truth. While your eyes see the truth or are speaking the truth, “But what I'm telling its truth.”, we should allow others to experience it, and that is embodied in your attitude, vision, and vibrations. Your love is natural and eternal. No matter whatever situations are, true love does not fluctuate. Trust in others comes from within because truth is what it is, because inside your attitude is truth, you believe. Truth automatically creates faith in you.

Truth does not say and demand blind faith or trust, but we have to experience and understand it to be truth. Our right consciousness within our mind, within the soul, becoming purer. And as there is more and more purity, the truth is revealed to us that yes; it is benevolent.

Truth is the state of the soul, which automatically has gentleness, kindness and Godly qualities. As Baba said today, when we help other souls through personal effort, the truth within us is revealed. We do not have to explicitly state that it is true; I have good wishes for you; it is true I want to help you. When we sincerely want to help others, truth is experienced and recognised. The truth within us awakens the truth in others. Truth is knowledge, as Baba is telling us the truth, about the aspect of which this truth has become mixed with falsehood and mixed concepts. When there is true knowledge, there is no fear. Truth makes you courageous; truth makes you fearless.  Truth is fearless and beyond praise and defamation.

Truth is eternal love, eternal purity, eternal kindness. The more we give, the more happiness we experience. Truth also dispels fear and doubt in others because our behaviour reflects our genuine spiritual nature. Love is the essence of truth, but it must be imbued with spirituality, selflessness, when it is beyond defamation and praise, it is so natural, as the beauty of nature. The sun's natural property, the truth is that, it is light. It is powerful, and you enjoy it, see and accept it. But there may come a time when we feel its intensity. We feel it is too much. The same sun which is bright and very powerful, and you believe it is really powerful. You may draw curtain and close the shutter, but the sun's light continues to shine. So, this demonstrates that it is constant.

The true nature of truth is that it is constant, eternal, pure, and powerful. Baba’s original power is benevolent power, because truth is benevolent and impartial. This is why it is said that truth is our religion, because the soul is true originally and the origin of the soul is truth, reality.

Purity is a reality, and the more we cultivate a pure attitude, the clearer, cleaner, and cooler our mind becomes. This clarity and coolness automatically has patience and understanding Truth makes us understand the truth of life.

God gives us the understanding of truth, that you are a true soul, an artificial image, but the embodiment of living truth. Living truth means expressing its personality. So, Sat Chit Anand, (the truth, is eternal and ever-present). Truth is ever living, never dies, ever expressing itself and giving experiences to others. The result is bliss and blessings, both for the self as well as for others. While there may be a difference in the names we give to objects that serve a particular purpose, we might call it x, their function remains the same. Even if we call something by a different name, its purpose does not change, and the act shows that this is the same.

For example, if you were given a saw and you use it to cut wood, so the name given to the saw might be different, but its function remains the same - to cut the wood. Truth reveals the true picture and meaning. It is based on the act or expression, which we refer to as behaviour. Our behaviour, or expression, is a reflection of our character and is based on how we react and act.

If truth is present in life, it is a living force that expresses itself and empowers others. This sharing of truth is bliss and blessings as it is done without any hidden agenda or expectation of return, and without any use of force. Truth exists, and it is blissful and blessings for all. So, through our eyes, we are picking up and seeing the virtues and understanding and distinguishing between right and wrong, empowering righteousness, appreciating righteousness. The truth of the soul is that it is merciful and loveful, and it cares for others without being influenced by falsehood. This is the power of truth, the power of purity.

Purity is the power of truth. This is why Baba says Golden is Satiyug, the age of truth, where there is no mixture of Maya or body consciousness, ignorance or illusion. These are all forms of Maya, but reality is reality. Illusion and truth are different. The reality of truth is like pure gold. There is flexibility because it is clean and pure int the mind and intellect, divine intellect, and expressed through benevolent actions. That is truth.

To cultivate a pure, cool, and clean mind, a divine intellect and elevated actions. This includes our behaviour, actions and interactions with others. By demonstrating the culture of truth through our actions, it leads us to the land of truth. God is the Liberator of falsehood and sorrow. Sorrow is a result of falsehood, which arises from us have taken something wrong. This is why it is falsehood. It is not righteousness. So, righteousness is truth; right behaviour is truth.

We are becoming the candidates of the age of truth, and receiving the truth as a blessing, and creating the culture of truth.

Sister Jayanti – 7th May 2023 – GCH, London Maintain the aim and the desire to learn…

9 May 2023

The song was actually sharing some of the things, in identical words, of the murli today because the song was saying: Who is the One who comes to awaken me with such love? Who is the One who comes to take care of me, comes so quietly and does all my work for me? And so I'm sure many of you will remember this murli because it was something that we'd all appreciated hugely when Baba first spoke it. And Baba speaks about three different aspects of attainment. The first attainment through Godly sustenance; God the Mother and Father takes care of us. And secondly, the attainment that comes from the supreme study through the Supreme Teacher.  And thirdly, you know it by now, the sustenance that has come through the elevated instructions of the Satguru. And so Baba’s looking at the line of fortune that has been created through the attainments, through these three relationships with Baba. And there was a lot of detail about this in the murli but one thing in particular that I want to pick up on. Baba has spoken a lot about the power of transformation. The power of love, the power of accommodation, the 8 powers; we've heard this many times and Baba has used this expression also, ‘the power of transformation’ quite often. But today from the murli, just reflecting on: Well why is it that Baba is talking about the power to transform very specifically, separate to all the other powers that we usually hear about? And it came to me that transformation only happens when you have a very specific goal and Baba often describes, in the sakkar murli, the difference between bhakti and gyan, satsang and class. We never say we’re coming to satsang here, or at least by the time you've got used to everything, you say you're coming to class. You don't say satsang. And that's because Baba mentions how when there's a class, there's a teacher and then there's an aim. And when you go to satsang – well some go out of pure love and devotion, some go because they want to meet their friends and relatives (that happens in churches also) and some go because ‘well I've got nothing else to do so might as well go along’. But if you're coming to class, it's really because you have an aim. And so firstly, transformation - even becoming a Brahmin is a big step of transformation. Transformation happens only if I have a specific aim. And becoming a Brahmin is a big transformation but then there are lots of other steps along the journey. And in fact if I have the aim of transformation every day, then no one is going to say to me: ‘Ahh but you’re just the same as you were last week, or worse, last year.’ But there will be changes happening all the time.

And so aim is one thing but the second thing very specifically is also the desire to learn. They’re both connected deeply but it’s a separate subject when I want to understand more and more and I want to apply that understanding in my life. And so I want to know God more and more. I want to experience God more and more. And so often, and in today's murli and blessing, Baba’s spoken about how the power of love makes everything become easy. And so how do I develop more and more love for Baba and receive more and more love from Baba? The more I know you, the more I love you. I think it's a song but it's a reality that as I go into the depth of soul consciousness and through that I begin to understand and know God more and more, to that extent my love for God grows and the other way also.

And usually we think about transformation, when you're dealing with situations, in terms of transforming thoughts. Baba has given us two steps today before we reach that stage of transformation of thoughts, which I found very interesting. Baba says transform your form, the awareness of who you are. And of course it's true that if I'm churning and I'm understanding more deeply, then the next thing is awareness – smriti. And so smriti swarup – ‘the embodiment of that awareness’. And of course then Baba explains why it is that weaknesses continue, why is it that mistakes happen. It's because of your awareness, your remembrance, your consciousness – smriti; the swarup - the form of that. And where I've come back to the awareness of this (Jayanti behen points to the body) and it pulls hard because it's a habit for 2,500 years and so it pulls and I forget the soul. And Baba’s saying, well think about it; you were soul conscious in the beginning but you are a soul eternally. You've never had the same body but eternally you are a soul; anadi –‘without end, no beginning’. And then at the very beginning whether in Paramdham or whether in the Golden Age and Silver Age, you were soul-conscious. So the power of that should actually be stronger than the power of this (body-conscious) awareness and so emerge that awareness or just being the soul and be the embodiment of that, the form of that. So first change that and then secondly, change your nature. And we make this word, my ‘nature’ an excuse to justify whatever it is that has happened; ‘well, what can I do about it? My nature is like this’ and so on and so on.

But what is your original nature? Come back to that. Your original nature is - Baba’s used two words - nirmal, nirmanNirmal, ‘pure soft, gentle’, the word encompasses all of these things. And that was a name that Brahma Baba, sakkar Baba, gave to Didi Nirmala when she had come to be with him in Madhuban (first meeting Mama in Bombay and then coming to Madhuban) and Baba gave her the title, Nirmal ashram – pure, soft, gentle, powerful. So that stage in which the soul is originally aware of that pure state and with that, humble. And the attitude of learning or the desire to learn comes where there is humility. And where there isn't humility, where there's this (body) consciousness and as a result of that, there’s ego and of course, the stronger, the ego, the less I can learn, the less I can transform. And I become very rigid in my behaviour and my way of thinking and that actually leads to health issues also. I understood a little bit more about that just recently; how rigidity in your behaviour and in your nature, where you're unwilling to shift and change - ‘this is right and I know it's right, it's got to be right and it's got to be this way’ - then it results in many health issues.

So transforming my nature, the first change - awareness of the soul; the second change - my nature - coming back to that connection of soul; pure, gentle, malleable. Baba’s talked about real gold and if you've ever touched real gold, you know you can bend it very easily; real silver and again, it bends and moulds very easily. So change my sanskar to the original, pure; change my nature to that original, pure nature of that which is malleable and also humble. And then, if I've gone back to soul consciousness and the embodiment of that, I've changed my nature. Then it's going to be easy to change the quality of my thoughts. Usually we say, ‘change your thoughts and your sanskars will change’ and that is true. But today Baba is taking us two steps beyond and so, am I able to keep those three steps of awareness in terms of transformation? And if it's taking me 15 minutes to change my thoughts, good? Not so good because 15 minutes is very precious especially in the Confluence Age. But the problem, not just that 15 minutes is precious - it is - but in 15 minutes of waste thoughts, negative thoughts, it's triggered my sanskars. How long does it take to trigger a sanskar? Well nature is triggered like this (Jayanti behen clicks her fingers). But even the sanskar that is underlying nature, Baba said; well that sanskar has already been triggered. And so what are your words and actions going to be like? The instant reaction of nature, that also is dangerous so, pause, be soul conscious, go inside and then change.

And there's a question that comes up frequently but it's come up again. There are three Hindi words that we very often translate just as ‘blessings’. It’s close but there are other contexts and connotations. One is verdan and we translate that as ‘blessings’. And the second is ashirvad. It came up a lot in a sakkar murli two days ago. That's usually used in the context of parents or a guru giving you blessings and we translate it as that but I just want to explain the context a little bit further.  And the third is duwa and I usually translate that as ‘good wishes’, rather than blessings, but I know that somewhere, someone translates it as ‘boons’. So let me begin with that one. I usually see duwa – ‘a blessing’, ‘good wishes’ - in the context of two things. If I've done something for another then out of their heart come good wishes for me, blessings for me - you can use that word, it’s correct. But literally, the person is never going to forget it. It's a real act of charity that's helped them hugely so duwa, out of their hearts they give you good wishes. So it's a result of having done something. And ashirvad, it's very often in the context of blessings, but it also is usually because the child has been obedient and as a result of seeing the obedience of the child, the love, the respect, then out of their hearts the parents give ashirvad and there’s blessings. And so both of these are in the context of my having made the effort and in return I'm getting something for that, something very big, but I'm getting the return of that.

But the word verdan; Baba is seeing the potential of the soul and also sometimes Baba has seen something that's already visible in the soul and so Baba’s putting a stamp on it and Baba’s saying that this is what will be with you also for the future. But you can see it's also the subject of potential, it’s not yet visible but it's Baba’s blessing. And definitely this word blessing is really God, it comes from God. And then Baba uses this word verdani murat - the embodiment of blessings - and it means both things; the one who has received blessings and is showing them, the result of that, the fruit of that in their life because they are the embodiment. But also now they have the capacity to be able to give a blessing to another. So I would definitely say that this is a title for Baba but also for the Eight Jewels. I don't think that other human beings, not even the 108 because they've also got something to settle along the way, I don't think other human beings can give verdan, a blessing in that way. We can give a little card (laughter) and that can remind you of what your blessings are and it can also remind you of your potential. And of course if there's a blessing then Baba is seeing something but I have to water that seed myself. And if I emerge it in my awareness every day or many times a day, then I'm watering that seed and it will come to fruition, it'll take on a practical form in my life. And so those are some of the differences between these three words. But yes, usually for humans we would say duwa, out of their hearts they give you good wishes and there's nothing but good wishes. But of course there is another word for good wishes and that is shubh bhavna, shubh kamna; good feelings and then through that, good wishes.

So, Hindi is older than other languages and Sanskrit is of course older. But it just means that it's had more time to explore all of these ideas and especially, and I'm thinking about the Copper Age not even the Golden Age, but in the Copper Age the rishis, the munis, ordinary folk, they had time to think about all of these things. And so the language is a lot broader and takes in many, many more nuances of aspects that are then not so easy to translate. I’m not suggesting that you learn Hindi because when people used to say to Dadi ‘should we learn Hindi?’ Dadi would say, ‘well how much time are you giving to studying gyan and yoga? So first take time to study gyan and yoga properly and then if you still have time, fine, learn Hindi. But make time for gyan and yoga first.’ The sakkar murli has just 200 something vocabulary…..So it’s not difficult to learn 200 something words. If you learn one word every day you can do it very quickly... So many things today.

Om shanti.

Sister Jayanti am Class, Monday 1st May, GCH, London: Become the self sovereign - Ask the self: What is Srimat? What does Baba Say? What do I need to do now?

3 May 2023

Om Shanti. Good Morning.  The summary of the song that was played is: ‘God is giving you everything that He has and all the treasure stores are open, take whatever you choose, it is all available’.  I want to pick up on yesterday’s Murli.  Baba spoke on self sovereignty.  Being the masters of the self.  He said ‘If today there isn’t self sovereignty and such a one becomes a leader in Satyug, Satyug would become kaliyug’.  There is a natural karmic law at work so that anyone who doesn’t have self sovereignty cannot become a leader in Satyug.  I was thinking of the story of the Ramayan and how it demonstrates how all the senses can deceive and finally it is the intellect that deceives. First it is the sensory organs. The way Baba teaches us is through soul consciousness and first becoming the master of the physical senses.  Then a deeper practise develops as we are continuing to take power from God and we have the physical senses under control: the step of controlling  the inner faculties of mind, intellect and sanskars.  Then we are on the journey to be able to conquer Maya and the vices and finally all the karmic accounts of sin.

The Murli song today is.Oh traveller of the night, don’t become weary.  It is interesting that normally when it is dark people know.  But in Kaliyug souls are so deluded that people don’t know it is dark.  It is the story of the frog at the bottom of the well that doesn’t know the sunlight so thinks it I ok.  It is only thousands that reach Satyug and experience the light of that time, and the vast majority of the billions in Kaliyug have never seen light.  Drama and karma.  In the state of darkness they don’t see the difference between falsehood and truth.  We are living in the era of post truth and the beginning of the era of artificial intelligence (AI).  For example there is a video going round of  AI Bharat Natyam dancing, yet it is distinguishable that there is no life, as it is robots!  Maybe with further creativity they will dance better than human beings!  The state when we are not differentiating between real and artificial. This is the period we are living in.  From this state of darkness Baba comes to bring light into the world.  The doors are open to bring everyone into the light but people don’t know what it means so they ignore it and are happy to continue in darkness.

In the story of the Ramayan, Sita, the devoted wife of Rama, unneedingly spent 14 years banished from the Palace.  Her father said that it was Rama who was supposed to be banished, she didn’t have to go.  But out of her love for him she went with him into the jungle to support him.  So she went into the jungle, and there is a big scripture as to all they encountered.  At the end of this period of banishment she sees this beautiful golden deer and she wants it and sends Rama to get it.  She was unwilling to listen to reason as her eyes had been attracted and trapped.  Rama told her that it would be inappropriate to take the deer into the palace, it belongs in the jungle, outdoors where he likes.  Reason didn’t work and she sent him off.

So the separation of the soul from God.  First we are tempted by something that is attracting the senses.  ‘ I want it’.   Think of a pair of shoes I cannot afford nor need.  After a few days the novelty wears off and they are not interesting anymore.    Rama goes off to get the deer.  Then Sita hears a sound and it is like Rama crying for help.  She sends Rama’s younger brother Lakshman to help Rama..  Lakshman doesn’t want to go and leave her in the danger of the jungle so he draws a line for her to stay within for her safety. ‘ If you cross the line it would be dangerous’ and she agrees to stay within it. Lakshman means the mind is given an aim.  The aim is to stay within the parameters of srimat and if I don’t disobey God’s instructions then I remain safe.

Lakshman goes off and Sita is left alone within the circle.  Then a beggar comes to her and she feels it is her duty to give him donation.  She tells him to come close and he refuses the donation and then considering it her duty she steps out of the line and then she sees it is Ravan, the demon, and she is captured and another unnecessarily episode begins.

The intellect is deluded first by the eyes and then ears… then the delusions in terms of recognition between right and wrong.  The attractions of the senses and also the attraction of a sense of duty become more important than God’s instructions. . Out of compulsion sometimes we think we should, have or need to and we step out of the line. Of course this is what Maya, Ravan has been waiting for …then it is no more subtle or incognito.  It is a very visible and the aggressive form of the vices come, and the soul gets trapped.  This story of the Ramayan deals with the way we have come into Kaliyug, we have lost control of the senses, distracted by ears and eyes and the intellect becomes so polluted that it is not clear what to do and then does wrong actions.

Baba has been talking a lot about the way Maya works recently and when Maya does come and does manage to pull you out of the line of conduct then the whole cycle of sorrow, guilt and moving away from yoga and not finding gyan interesting nor any experience or joy in it.  Then it is a  slippery slope of fast descent and not knowing what to do anymore and not being able to manage.  The story of Sangamyug is the story of conquest of the senses.  The only way to do this is through detachment from my body, this chariot and  in the state of soul consciousness then I can check to what extent am I the master or my senses are the master.  Baba asked the question… ‘Are you the master, or is the mind your master?’.  The mind is not stable wondering around here and there.  I then think that this is what life is and I don’t realise that there is something higher than the mind that needs to be in touch with God, to get the wisdom from God and to be able then to discipline the mind.  At the end of kaliyug we don’t like the word to discipline.  To discipline the senses goes against the grain.  Nor do we have the knowledge or power to discipline the mind.  Yet here is Baba now offering us total mastery and I’m not ready to follow the discipline of yoga and gyan. Then I will find myself getting into sorrow again and again.

The journey of Raja Yoga is  ‘Oh traveller of the night don’t become weary’.  If the journey is straight, yes with ups and downs, thoughts or words maybe, but not in terms of bad karma, more or less in the right direction then I’ll get there.   But if I take 10 steps forward and 8 steps back I will get so tired.  The tiredness of the body is not a factor but the tiredness of the soul is when I am not able to focus on yoga or connect with God.  The reason for studying everyday is to remind the self ‘what is srimat, what does Baba say’ and What do I need to do now.’   So then I will get to the state of self mastery.  Then there is the subject of conquest of the elements.  We saw Dadi have a fragile body yet the amount of walking she did in the days of Abu was incredible.  Before that not so much as Karachi was indoors with a war going on outside, although sometimes Baba would take them to the seaside.   But in Abu, Baba made them walk. Up and down the mountains, walking for breakfast to catch berries.  At the start of service they used to do a long walk everyday.  In Pune too she would walk….from one class to another place….a good 2 hours everyday.  This gave her a strong constitution but her heart and lungs were weak…yet she lived to 104!   And doing service until she was 104, until the January before flying away in March.

The Dadis demonstrated the conquest of the elements, with the way they managed their bodies.   .I was asked if I saw Dadi Janki  become the master of time and I said yes, often we would see she is so engrossed in service that planes and trains would wait for her.  One story of this was with Sister Indu, Leicester.  They were going to the Philippines from Delhi. In Ahmedabad it was the monsoons and the flights were cancelled.  However Dadi didn’t see things that she didn’t want to see and didn’t hear what she didn’t want to hear.  She saw the board and could see there was a flight to Pune.  She said lets go as Dada Govind was there, and she had been asked to go.  (Mama stayed in his home in Pune for two weeks so the family was very close.  He was an instrument for the invitation for the Dadis to go to Japan to the interfaith conference there.  She was very connected with him.  She was in charge of the Boy Bhavan in Karachi.  One of seven bhavans where souls stayed.  He was there, with his brother.  She would share stories how they were very mischievous and she would give them a lot of love but also teach a lot of discipline.  At 15 he came to Baba and said wished to go out to the world and earn.  But he stayed very close and came to London several times). He was in his last period at this time and the family had asked her to come. So Dadi and Indu  went off to Pune and Dadi arrived to see Govind Dada and gave drishti before the soul  flew away. The cremation was with Dadi and then they caught an evening flight to Delhi and on to the Philippines as per the original schedule.  This demonstrated the mastery of time.

There are many different stories of seeing the Dadis being the masters of time.  With this we can see why these are the souls who will be the leaders of the Golden Age.  Baba says as time goes on things will become clear.  In the early days He wouldn’t say who would become masters but today where we stand in terms of time  it has become clear.  If we wish to become part of that kingdom it is up to us to attain this same mastery.

Sudesh Didi – Divine Virtues and Godly Powers - 30th April 2023 Class - GCH, London: Divine Virtues and Godly Powers

2 May 2023

Om shanti. Om shanti.   Good morning. Beautiful song, full of fragrance. Baba's words are filled with fragrance - the fragrance of flowers, as well as the fragrance of virtues. These virtues are called divine virtues, divya gun, not ordinary virtues, not ordinary gun, but divine virtues.

So, someone has given me a question: What is the difference between gun and divine virtues, gun and divya gunon ka (of divine qualities). Also, what is Sarvagun sampanna (completely full with all divine qualities), values, shaktis (inner powers) and qualities.

Let us begin with the term “qualities”. While many people have many good qualities, if you think about it, there are varying degrees: good quality, better quality, best quality. As a result, quality has comparison and involve competition. Consider when you use your special qualities and qualifications to accomplish a task, and when someone also completes the same task.  If that person receives recognition and appreciation but you do not, what is your reaction? "I did the same thing too. Next time you ask me, 'Would you like to do that?', I will say, 'But that person does better than me. Go to him.'" So, the internal quality is qualified, but because of the influence of competition and comparison, the true value of his quality is lost, because in that quality, a weakness has emerged from not maintaining the awareness that each individual's quality is unique and special, it is a speciality, and should be maintained as such.  If one feels the need to showcase their quality in response to comparison and competition, it is a temporary display that begs for validation. So, this can lead to discrimination as some may perceive one person's quality as "good" and another person's as "better."

Divine virtues refer to the consciousness that certain qualities possess an essence of divinity. While qualities are also virtues, qualities are sometimes virtual, which exist in perception but lacking the tangible experience. It is a show, but if you try to touch, it is only a picture. A picture can serve as a reminder of a certain experience, but it cannot replace the actual experience itself. For instance, if you have a picture of the ocean or sunshine in your room, it only serves as a reminder of the experience, but does not provide the actual experience. When surrounded by darkness, the picture of sunshine may remind you of the sunlight, but do you experience light? Similarly, the picture of the ocean cannot allow you to swim within its depths; if you try swim on the wall, you will break your hands and feet. So, a picture may provide a visual representation of a certain experience, it cannot replicate the true essence of the experience. It is a picture, but there is no character.

So, divine virtues have a sense of divinity without any discrimination. So, the value increases, because it is becoming real. Virtues do not have expectations, and whether you appreciate or defame, whether you reject or you accept, does not matter as it stems from your own divinity and are not compared with anyone else's. So, there is no competition or comparison when divinity is present; you just give; it is just like the natural giving of flowers. In fact, the nature of the soul is similar to that of flowers. And it is natural, just like flowers, phoolon ka sansar (the world of flowers) this is what Baba worded as the garden of divine flowers, divine virtues. The soul's nature is similar to that of flowers, creating a world of flowers where virtues are the divine flowers in the garden. This divinity is natural, and when one becomes complete in it, this becomes a power that it does not get disturbed, and it does not have expectation. It is not that the garden would discriminate and say “I give more fragrance of the flower to this one more over another, No.

So, Baba is also making us into the embodiment of these qualities, guiding us towards a natural and neutral state. This is an angelic stage in which we have no expectations for ourselves, and we continue to give without being disturbed if our offerings are not accepted. The sun does not get disturbed if I draw the curtain. I like sunshine very much. But if it is too hot, and I say, “Please draw the curtain, and close the shutters; it is too hot. The sun will not get upset; it continues to shine. Even if clouds obscure its light, the sun will shine above the clouds and then air helps the sun push past these clouds, and the clouds automatically move away.

So, bhavna is totally different in terms of virtues. You are beyond both defamation and praise. And that divinity actually goes in our sanskars in the golden age, there is no competition. Each one is virtuous, full of virtues with all powers, with all qualities. But then quality protects. So there is a difference between quality and power, shakti. Baba is the Almighty, Gunon ka Bhandaar (Treasure Store of Qualities), the Source of all the powers and treasures; full in everything: knowledge-full, bliss-full, powerful-full, love-full; benevolence is there, fullness is there. He is giving all the time without counting. So, the difference between quality and power lies in the fact that quality protects against the negativity, and power transforms both you and transform others around you as well.

For example: Somebody is angry, and I am keeping quiet. But divinity is not just keeping quiet inside. I might be boiling, but I keep quiet because I do not want to lose my honour. When I embody the virtue, while remaining quiet, the mind is also peaceful and cool. So, it indicates divine virtue. The quality is that this one remains peaceful; it is a good quality. The ability to remain peaceful in the face of adversity is a valuable quality, as it demonstrates one's peaceful quality. Imagine a daughter-in-law who is always polite and keeps quiet no matter what is being said to her. However, there may come a time when she can no longer suppress her feelings and erupts like a volcano. This demonstrates that she has not fully embodied the virtue of inner peace, as she lacked the power to face or remove the negative influence. Power enables us to conquer negative situations, as it enables one to become powerful within themselves. Once one has developed this inner power, it first makes the self powerful, they are then able to help others transform as well. Being merciful, loveful, forgiving, maintaining the focus on your own task, with a sense of responsibility. These qualities form the foundation of inner stability and become the source of power.

All virtuous, when one fills oneself with virtues, negative influences and vices begin to have less and less effect; all virtuous, completely viceless. Is there a list of virtues? 36 virtues or 56 virtues or 108 virtues? Is there a list? No. To pick up the virtue from everyone in every situation in our circumstances, is called all virtuous, all the time remaining virtuous, that is becoming the embodiment of virtues, and this means the embodiment of power.

So, God, the Almighty Powerful, is giving us all powers. In today’s Murli, we are reminded of what Baba’s love really is. He is knowledge-full, love-full, power-full, the Bestower of happiness. The Murli gives very beautiful explanation, which you will hear.

Yesterday, there was a program in Slough arranged by the Langley family. It was a great opportunity to come together, and the topic was Health, Wealth and Happiness. During the program, a group of young children acted out a conversation. As the topic was Health, Wealth, and Happiness, each child represented one of these concepts, one child was health, another wealth, and the third happiness. The essence of their conversation was that they did not truly understand what these concepts really meant. What is the wealth? What is happiness? Despite one child representing happiness, they were unsure of what true happiness really was. Baba says, “I make you full in every aspect of happiness.” What is happiness? Honestly, what really is happiness? Am I happy? What is really wealth? We know that physical wealth cannot buy happiness. There is both physical wealth and a fear of losing it. It can be stolen or loss.

Wealth can bring temporary happiness, but at the same time, Baba says that on the path of devotion, people think that wealth is Maya. And Baba says no wealth is not Maya. Wealth is sampati, it is your prosperity. Which wealth that has one has to know? The knowledge is important to have before we have health, wealth, happiness.

So, people think wealth is Maya. And Baba says no. On the path of devotion, when you go in the temple, you say, “Vishay vikaar mitao.” “Remove my sins.” Remove my vices but give me health and happiness.” “Sukh sampati badhao.” (Increase my happiness and wealth). If wealth was dukh (sorrow), Maya, then you cannot actually ask for Maya. Somebody has a lot of wealth, Usake paas bade Maya hai, it means he has a lot of Maya. So, Maya is not wealth, but their concept of wealth is Maya, vices, weaknesses, because, as soon as one becomes more and more prosperous, ego tends to increase, fear tends to increase. Furthermore, when prosperity is not used in the right way, it can lead to the development of negative habits. Those who are prosperous or wealthy face challenges with their children indulging in bad habits, or themselves crossing boundaries of discipline, and doing certain things which they should not do. So, it is not wealth that is Maya, but rather it is the weaknesses that can arise from the pursuit of wealth. It is the weakness that is Maya.

Today Baba has defined what Maya is. Maya is not wealth, rather it is weakness. When we are weak, we are not able to conquer anything, Maya manifests in the mind in the form of weak thoughts, and creates a sense of discontentment. We must look at the reality, and reflect on our state of mind, “Am I really happy? Is my mind happy?” But there is one weakness that prevents us from achieving happiness.

My mind is happy not only that, I have many good qualities that I am happy; I take pride in doing things well that I am happy, and when others appreciate, I am also happy. I should ask myself, Am I also happy when others receive appreciation and happiness?  I have to check, while I have good qualities and virtues, do I have value? Value can be equated to money, such as £20 or £50. So, the value remains the same, whether it is in your possession or my possession. I cannot claim that this one has less than I have as the value is the same and that value will be measured equally everywhere, with the same capacity or with the same value.

If I am jealous inside or competitive towards others, it means I have lost sight of the value of my own qualities and do not recognise the value of others. So, it becomes Maya, a weakness of the mind in the form of jealousy and rejection. Then, when I feel unappreciated, upset and angry, it will become more forceful. When Maya takes force, it adopts a form of Ravan. It becomes Ravan: lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego. It begins with weakness, sickness and then eventually we become the embodiment of vices, which reflects through our behaviour. They reflect through our sanskars, habits and personality.

So, if I am becoming a powerful soul, then am I becoming the embodiment of powers? Godly powers, Brahmins powers, and divine powers. What are Godly powers? God's power is knowledge. This knowledge is light, and knowledge is wealth. Baba says every day, you are receiving the jewels of knowledge. This is the wealth. When we become the embodiment of knowledge, it becomes wisdom. So, God is the Wisdom of the wise. And then you use this quality, not with ego, but with humility. You value and appreciate others as well as being happy with yourself. The first song played in the morning is the Amrit Vela song is: No one is so fortunate. No one is no happy like us, “Hamsa nahin koee zamaane mein,” Nobody is like me. What makes me special? I have the knowledge of the Creator and creation. This knowledge is light, this knowledge is might, when we become the embodiment of it. And we use it at the right time in right consciousness. What is the right consciousness? The more knowledge, virtues and and Godly powers I embody, the fuller I become. It is important to maintain balance by remaining humble at the same time. This humility is a form of wisdom that becomes the power to maintain your stage as well as to create an atmosphere of harmony and happiness around us.

So Godly power enables us to receive from Baba, but only when knowledge remains with us. When we only rely on the power of knowledge, it is like swinging on a single rope. So, balance is needed, which is where yoga power comes in; it is like having two ropes together. To achieve a powerful swing, the ropes need to be balanced. Connecting the two ropes with each other helps them to empower each other. Knowledge helps me to have yoga; yoga helps me strengthen my relationship with Baba.

Yoga means relationship with Baba. And when I have a strange relationship with Baba and have knowledge, I am able to sit in balance and swing. Baba is not only giving us happiness; we are becoming blissful souls – knowledgeful and blissful. Bliss means blessed in every aspect. And blessing is then based on balance, not only two things, but among the four subjects. When I have both knowledge and yoga, I am able to hold virtues in my lap, in my consciousness, and maintain and sustain them, and thereby, remaining virtuous.

The more virtuous I become, the more embodiment I become, I embody the power of the mind. This power not only keep myself peaceful and loveful but also helps with good wishes, shubh bhavna, shubh kaamna, good wishes and pure feeling towards others. My feeling for others does not change when they display anger, competition or jealousy towards me. My bhavna, is naturally divine, will not change. A deity is not happy or disturbed, whether you offer a big flower bouquet of flowers or only one petal. Nature is not disturbed; God is not disturbed; statues are not disturbed. By maintaining the power, I remain totally beyond external influence.

When we become the embodiment of power, the mind has shubh bhavna, shubh kaamna, (pure feeling, good wishes) which transform the atmosphere.  Bhavna, these feelings of mercy, love, and clarity of knowledge benefit others. Each one has different sanskars, and we should not fight or compare them, but rather accept them while keeping a cool, calm, and peaceful mind. This consistency is important because what is inside us automatically comes outside, and we should not gossip. So, my mouth becomes peaceful, quiet, my mind also becomes quiet, my drishti also becomes peaceful, and our ears become silent. The noise around us is a result of body consciousness. And it begins with weaknesses.

So when I'm weak, I am not able to handle everything on my own. So, Baba is giving me then not only Godly powers but also the power of knowledge, the power of love, the power of purity and the power of happiness. In addition to these powers, He is giving other powers - Brahmin powers. Firstly, He makes me a Brahmin. Brahmin powers are not the same as divine powers, devi gun, they are not for deities either. They are only for Brahmins. Which are those powers? Brahmin powers are these eight arms. Eight powers: The power to face, the power to withdraw, the power to tolerate, the power to accommodate, the power to adjust, the power to cooperate. All these powers are only at this time. Without Godly powers these powers do not work. Both are important. Then we become the embodiment of virtues. And these powers then give the power to the not only the Brahmins who are handling them, Baba uses the statues of the deities to give the power to the devotees as well. This is why these powers are known as divine powers or Godly powers, as they not only keep us powerful, but also empower others.

But it starts with finishing the weakness from the beginning, before the fire goes up. So, draw the line of fortune with the pen that Baba gives us. Is it a pencil or a pen? A pencil can be easily erased, but a pen is more powerful.  So, Baba is giving me the directions for elevated actions that can help us overcome weakness, become virtuous and powerful. So, taqadeer ke lakeer, or the line of the fortune, is not erased by weaknesses, vices, Maya’s force or Ravan’s force. By doing that, we can remain ever fortunate. Bhagyanwan Bhagawan (God the Bestower of Fortune) is elevating our kismat  (fortune), and making us fortunate. By following Shrimat, our kismat will become elevated. Kis ke mat par chal rahe ho? (Whose directions are you following?) Are you following the dictates of your own mind or the dictates of others? So, when we hold Baba’s hand and follow Shrimat, every action we perform with our hands eventually will become perfect. So, being free from defect means being free from Maya, free from weaknesses, free from vices, and that is called powerful.

Om shanti.
