Sister Vaishali of San Francisco Hoists Shiv Baba's Flag in Antarctica

San Francisco (USA): BK Sister Vaishali from San Francisco made history by unfurling Shiv Baba's flag for this first time on the Earth's seventh and southmost continent, Antarctica.

She took off her coat, braving the snow, ice, and wind-chill to mark the event wearing the traditional, white BK sari - emblem of peace and purity.

According to Wikipedia, Antarctica is a polar desert with little precipitation and extreme sub-zero temperatures. In summer, temperatures rise to an average high of 10°C ( 50°F). The only humans living there are 5,000 people who reside at research stations during the summer months. During the winter this figure drops to around 1,000. The main inhabitants are the penguins. Recalling her once-in-a-lifetime experience, BK Vaishali shared how Baba helped her throughout the journey, and she was able to complete her mission. “Landing on the continent, where no humans reside, and being around marine animals was a magical experience in itself,” she said.

 

Sister Vaishali covered 21 islands of the continent on her 19-day long trip. With her on this expedition were 140 adventurers from 29 countries. “They were curious about what I wore and what I ate,” Vaishali mentioned. “They taught me environmental awareness, and in return, I shared the importance of spiritual awareness and meditation with them.” Now Baba's vibration and message truly has gone to every corner of the planet.

WEBSITE TRAINING Commences on 12th March for Those Who Wish to be Website Developers for Baba

This is an exciting time in the Yagya as we are challenged and ready to take a lead of a new way of revealing Baba to the world.  I, personally, am thrilled with the idea of having a prestigeous website that attracts the seeker and more.

 

Having said that, Br Santiago has arranged with br Nanda to do this TRAINING FOR WEBSITES which would include:

Design

Uploading

Maintenance

SEO  (Search Engine Optimization) 

 

This training will prepare you to create a website, make changes after it has been designed and published, and teach you how to optimize it so search engines like Google will position the website high during public searches. What this means, search optimization will help to increase traffic to the website and do more service.

 

The training will help whomever is interested in doing this type of service. No technical background is needed. You will be taught everything from scratch to semi-professional level. You just need to commit to attending all of the sessions because each session builds on the previous one. This is a unique opportunity  to learn and improve our digital service.

 

Br Nanda is available to start the training on Saturday, March 12th at 5 PM (EST) and continue for a total of 10 weeks. 

 

The sessions would be about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours per session (may vary). Br Nanda is requiring all those interested to ATTEND ALL SESSIONS. Br Nanda is being very generous with his time, his expertise and this is a golden opportunity for those that want to move forward and upward.  I feel that in the training all will find their special role in the scheme of things.

“Where Do We Go from Here?” session dedicated to the World Day of Social Justice

Miami, Florida (USA): Third Sunday, February 20th was also the UN Observance of the World Day of Social Justice. In conjunction with World Meditation Hour, two “movement lawyers” actively engaged in social justice work shared their stories of founding the Community Justice Project.

 

Meena Jagannath is currently Director of Global Programs for the Movement Law Lab in New York. Alana Greer is the Co-Founder of the Community Justice Project in Miami. She is the daughter of Dr. Pedro Jose Greer, a physician and McArthur Fellow nationally known for his work with underserved and unsheltered individuals.

February Month

With Baba’s inspiration, and as the nation is resuming normalcy with mandates being removed, we have begun our search for a new commercial space for service for the public as well as BK sustenance.

In the interim, we will transition into live in-person sessions by sharing commercial space with the Shiva Mandir – details are being finalized with the temple board members.

 

 

Broward County Library

Two other Libraries (Pompano Beach, and Fort Lauderdale) will be scheduled for Meditation sessions in the coming months. Coral Springs and Coconut Creek library will also schedule live sessions later in the year. These sessions will be live, in-person sessions – the first for the year. The general theme of “Being at Peace in Chaotic Times” (Picture above)

 

Wellness sessions

The wellness sessions have resumed. Will plan programs as required by groups.
