REVISION for BK Students. Sister Jayanti Monday 17th July, 2023

14 July 2023

Sister Jayanti. 23rd July 2023 Murli Revision and Q&A in GRC

13 July 2023

Om Shanti. Baba spoke a lot about authority today.  He means of course, spiritual authority.  I remember someone asking Dadi, when they moved to London. ‘ Dadi, I don’t understand what authority I have?’ ….Her response was ‘You don’t have any authority’, as the question was talking about external authority.  Baba is not talking about external but spiritual authority.  How does this come?

Thinking about spiritual authority….the first step is clear understanding and  one of the ways to get there is churning.  We often associate churning with sharing gyan and that is true.  But more than the churning for service is the churning for clarity for oneself, is the important churning for the self, what does it mean and how do I apply this?  This brings clear understanding and then I start to practise what Baba is asking me to do.  Soul consciousness, applying the 3 dots, the full stop, whatever it may be.  Then the practise leads to experience.  Baba puts these two words together.  The authority of experience.  The more I practise and experience the more authority I gain in terms of my faith.  My faith develops through those different steps and the more I use gyan in my life, the authority continues to grow.  When we are speaking with spiritual authority there isn’t arrogance.  Without spirituality and that experience the tone is not very pleasant, as it has the I’m in charge and you had better listen to me attitude. For the person speaking they are bound to get upset, as others react to this……’why do they not listen’….In spiritual authority there is gentleness, respect and humility.  Soul conscious means I have been removing the demon of ego.  Ravan is 2,500 years old and has found a space in every corner of my sanskars very deeply.  It has been with me for a very long time. And how long have I been making effort.    There is no one here with more than 60 years experience ...(Didi) generally here we have 20,30,40 years of experience…that seems a long time, but it is a few drops compared to  2,500 years , and so if it is taking time, Baba understands and has infinite patience with us.

Yes Time is running out, and when we used to get fresh messages or fresh Avyakt Murlis and we would sometimes hear the Mother and Father in the subtle region converse and wonder why we were not yet perfect, it was always the mother who would say ‘it is ok, give the children a little more time’.  Shiv Baba and Brahma Baba’s conversations were always very sweet and it would be the mother who would take our side and try and protect us. Generally this is the way!

Baba has been very patient, waiting and waiting…but now really to have the focus so with Baba’s power and Baba’s love we can come to that state that we can truly say that 90% of ego has been dealt with…or even 99%.  There is always the danger of the 1%.  In AA, a recovering alcoholic would never say ‘ I am there’…yet there is progress and on the way to recovery.  So the humility to acknowledge that there are some pockets that I haven’t yet properly uncovered and removed all the bits and traces.  The authority Baba is talking about is all of this.  The spiritual experience.  It is a fact, when talking to anyone, whether high profile or not, if we speak with humility and the authority of experience, no one can challenge that.  If I base my sharing on the base of my experience it cannot be challenged on any level. Someone else’s experience may be radically different.  On one hand there is the tone of ‘I am right’ and humility needed here,  but also Baba is talking about  ‘familiarity’ and this is an enemy.  I am thinking about familiarity in situations.  One is within the Brahmin Family, where I am not just loving the Brahmin family but am specifically connected with one or two specific individuals.  With them I become familiar.  In English there is the phrase ‘familiarity breeds contempt’ and it may not get that far, but we can fall into the trap of the lack of proper respect.  I saw sometimes souls would treat Dadi in a warm and too friendly way and anyone observing would say that these souls were not treating Dad with respect.  Familiarity crosses boundaries, and where the boundaries needs to be of recognition of the other and the roles each play.  Yes we are all souls, and on that level all equal.  But on another level, there are roles, and am I recognising the role of every Brahmin.  Just their value as God’s child and the respect that I need to show them at all times.

I have seen people of high profile, who at the beginning of the relationship didn’t hold that position, but now they are, I have to treat them according to their position.  I am thinking about President Murmu…When she comes on our platform we treat her with the respect that office deserve.  That is one side of familiarity in terms of the role they play and in public.  The other side of familiarity is with peers.  The boundary of sister and sister and sister and brother, Baba has made that clear, and with familiarity there isn’t any respect.  If I am an instrument to do Baba’s service, and as soon as others know we are BK’s and practising Raja Yoga, there is a different level of expectation. Family and friends no.  Any familiarity in my behaviour with others and souls will pick up on that. ‘I thought you were following a code of behaviour and meant to be detached’.  So what is happening?  Familiarity causes disservice, it really does.

Then there is the state of contentment. If there is the experience of attainment from Baba contentment follows in a natural way and will allow the ego, anger, greed, attachment, everything to become cool inside.  Because there is that coolness within – it is connected to my state of purity.   I can be following celibacy but there is still discontent inside.  Purity on its own at that level

Is a big step but not the factor.  It is the attainment I fill myself from Baba then the cooling of the vices and desires within.  Then that state is the one that can calm others down.  They described Mama as the moon.  Bapdada together as the Sun.  The image of the moon, as bright light, but no heat.  The feeling of beauty of joy and coolness.  Mama’s state of contentment and the ability to remove the heat of the anger of others through her coolness.  Even removing the heat of fear and anxiety and I am seeing how as times go on, and things get ever more chaotic, our role is going to be to provide the coolness and warmth.  Both.  The coolness to take away their fear and anxiety….  It is going to be ok. ‘ All is fine’.  ‘All is well’ and at the same time, the warmth of someone who cares and I feel safe with.  The training that Baba gives us is for our own state of becoming karmateet and perfect but also the preparation over all these years is so we can be instruments to give help to others in great need.  When nothing lokik is working anymore.  We can’t phone anyone or run anywhere.  We are where we are and are there people around to support with spirituality and able to help.  So wherever we are we are of  service.  So the idea of contentment bringing coolness, and the canopy of contentment.  These are some of the things that I would like to bring from Baba’s Murli today.

Q

This is connected with contentment and coolness, in particularly in relationships where historically there has been some karmic accounts and rubbing up of natures and sanskars.  Over time there is a level of maturity but still traces and maybe suspicion and distrust, not all the time, but a level of these traces that enter and cause disruption. How can we dissolve these traces?

A

‘A self transformer is one from whom good wishes always emerge’.  Baba’s Murli tells us today what we need to do.  However good wishes don’t just happen like that.  I have to work on it.  In a genuine way, seeing the speciality of the other and the beautiful qualities they have and appreciating that, then from my heart I give nothing but good wishes.  Whatever karma there was I am then able to say it is finished, it is over.  I am talking about within the Brahmin family, when we understand we are both on a journey, together on this journey and where I am now, I just have good wishes for them.  They will feel that and pick it up.  Our vibrations are revealing in themselves and Brahmins are ultra sensitive to vibrations and pick it up very quickly.

Is it about re-establishing trust?

If I have good wishes for another, they will reach them.   Also there will be an opportunity in which I can demonstrate those good wishes and reach out to them and then just that demonstration of help will indicate.  Then the attitude of respect for them and  good wishes will impact.  If I have the intention of repairing something then the opportunities arise, the door will open for that.

Q

I have observed how the seniors have managed to bring that energy of good wishes in the lives of many and enables souls to go through big change.  However what about disservice.  One is public and another for Baba’s children.  Many remain silent, as that is a treatment that they receive day in, day out.  And no one is saying anything.  People are watching and continue to have good wishes.  Yet it is continuing.  How do we deal with these situations?

A

If someone who has a good relationship with the one who is creating disservice, then it is important they spend time with that individual so they can see it themselves.  If there is a good relationship with one other person, then they can talk to them and help them understand.  Maybe something too in Baba’s Murli,  can help them be aware and realise.

Q

I’m going back to the number of years we have been here in the context of dealing with Ravan.  I have been focusing on Brahma Baba’s life, in terms of how to deal with Ravan.  It took Brahma Baba 33 years to become perfect, even as Head of the family and running the Yagya.  He did so much, rising at 2 am, preparing food and churning.  He is also a 5,000 year soul and as you said Ravan has been around for half the cycle.  Yet Baba conquered everything.  Mama even less than that.  What is the one quality of Brahma Baba that enabled no effort or battle to be visible? Same thing with Mama.

A

A question came up in the Sakar Murli when Baba said that when ‘Shiv Baba came He has to pay rent, because Baba is the landlady’.  We would speak to Dadi about this ‘what is the rent?  As soon as Shiva entered Brahma Baba his attitude changed instantly. From being the father as 5 he became the father of whoever came to him.  He accepted them all.  In Karachi, 400 people landed up on his doorstep.  His attitude and vision had changed instantly and he took on the responsibility of organsing 7 houses!  From tamopradhan to satopradhan we know is the same journey for everyone.  Yet  the total surrender to Shiv Baba instantly.  No sense of my and mine.  Yes family but now God’s family.  Baba’s hard-earned wealth, he hadn’t inherited it.  It was his complete surrender.  When we truly do this, then we don’t have to battle with anything.  It was instant surrender and many other factors we have heard about.  From where I stand that is what I see.

Q

Baba often refers to this ‘loving and non-loving intellect’ at the time of destruction.  What is the origin to this statement Baba often uses and what does it mean?

A

It is an expression that comes in the Indian scriptures and refers to the Pandavs with a loving intellect and the Kauravas with a  non-loving intellect. The loving intellect having victory and the non loving intellect destroying itself.  It refers to my relationship with God. If I am practising developing my relationship through soul consciousness and meditation and so on. When everything is going crazy my connection with God is going to  lead me beyond whatever is happening and to my destination.  A non-loving intellect is going to be all over the place.  It is not connected with God.  Where I know God and have been practising letting go of everything else, and stay connected, that is my protection.  I may have been searching, practising penance etc but if I don’t have the connection with Him then the intellect will be in other places.  It has to happen that everyone will recognise God and Time to go Home, but at the time of distress it will be distress not love those with a non-loving intellect will experience.

Sister Jayanti – 2nd July 2023 – GRC, Oxford Loving the murli and my stage

8 July 2023

Om shanti. Good morning. The song that you just heard, it’s totally based on Baba's murli today. We are the loving children but also Baba’s spoken about the powerful children; love and spiritual power together. But also, following in the footsteps of Brahma Baba. It's interesting that in the world out there they speak about omnipresence, which would mean that God is present in everyone so you should see all of God's qualities in everyone. And when Baba tells us that: Yes you are God's children; God is not omnipresent but yes, you can absorb all the qualities of God and become like the Father. And so firstly, being incorporeal and becoming Shiv-Baba’s children and reflecting Baba's qualities through our behaviour. But the other, the other father, the father of humanity Prajapita Brahma; and so last week also we heard, ‘following in the footsteps of Brahma Baba’. And Baba’s continued that theme today. And two particular qualities that Baba has taken up now; total obedience - every instruction that Baba gives, to be able to follow that. And the other - faithfulness, loyalty in our relationship with One.

When we say Bapsaman, it's very different to what the world out there talks about in terms of omnipresence. And the reality that yes, definitely Lakshmi and Narayan is in the distant future or maybe the near future, I don't know. But what we can do now is to make sure that we are following in the footsteps of this human being who has shown us the path to perfection. And we can't say that we don't know how to follow the father because all of Baba’s murlis have explained this very, very clearly And yes, many of those sitting here have had the opportunity of hearing classes from all the Dadis, not just Dadi Janki, but all the Dadis about their experiences with Brahma Baba. But the murlis themselves, the sakkar murlis, the dharna that Baba had, and the avyakt murlis especially, go into a lot of detail about Brahma Baba’s life and activity. So if you want to become perfect, then this is the straight road. They'll be other roads that take you here and there and maybe you get lost. But if you follow in Baba’s footsteps then you know the destination is karmateet and perfection.

Brahma Baba when he became avyakt asked everyone the question: What is it that Brahma Baba loved the most? And then later on, Dadi Gulzar had also brought a message back saying: What is it that Brahma Baba loved the most? And the first answer that everybody gave was the murli, Baba’s love for the murli. But there was another answer that Brahma Baba had given and that also that had come in the message and that was Baba loved his stage.

And so because Brahma Baba loved his stage more than anything else apart from the murli - and of course the murli creates the stage - Baba paid great attention to that. And so in the murlis that we're hearing, especially the avyakt murlis, we're hearing the description of what it is that Baba did to create a stage which was so powerful and stable that all the obstacles that came, right from the very beginning and while Baba was sakkar, the obstacles from outside continued to come in a big way because people still didn't understand about purity, they didn't understand what Baba was saying, why Baba was saying things. And so the opposition was just continuous. After Baba became avyakt there hasn't been that much opposition from outside. Yes some souls with karmic accounts to settle but generally speaking the obstacles have been from within rather than from without. But today if I also love the murli and love my stage more than anything else, then the focus on my stage is going to be that it enables me to maintain stability no matter what else is going on out there. So following Baba’s instructions; Baba’s spoken about (following) ‘an order’, it's absolutely something that you have to obey. It's not an option; it's not a suggestion, but this is what you have to do.

And so Baba’s spoken about that at great length. But also about faithfulness, loyalty, and Shiv Baba demands total loyalty for our benefit. When you think about obedience, then again it's not a word that anybody likes in today's world. People really don't think about being obedient and even children they don't necessarily learn about obedience at home. Very often you see kids playing around, and that's fine, but sometimes it's not just playing around, it’s mischief. But you don't see parents telling the children to be obedient and not create mischief, or very rarely. It's not fashionable anymore. But if I know that there's something that's going to bring me benefit, then to be obedient is something that I want to do. I don't have to do it but I want to do it because I recognize the value, the benefit.

When it’s teenagers then you have to sit them down and explain why you're asking them to do something or why you're telling them not to do something. And so on that level also obedience, but only if you explain to them why and they understand the benefit; then they'll say, ‘yes I understand and I'll do it or I'll stop doing it’. And so Baba we know has no other motive at all. Baba the Supreme, Baba has all the qualities. Baba needs nothing from us. Baba doesn't even want a good, happy life. He’s the embodiment of happiness itself. So why is Baba telling us all these things? It's really, truly just for my benefit. And so when I understand this then I say; ‘it's not difficult to be obedient’. Why? Because it's going to bring me benefit. And so today, Baba has spoken about using all the treasures that Baba has given in a worthwhile way. Yes, I use the treasures, the gyan, the powers, the love, the virtues, for my own stage, but then beyond that I use all the resources that Baba has blessed us with to be able to serve.

And then thirdly, Baba’s mentioned that whatever are the treasures you've received, it should be visible through your karma. And karma just means action but Baba’s specifying that when Baba’s talking about karma, it's not just something for yourself but Baba’s talking about the interaction that you have with every other person. And so, that is the karma that you'd reveal - the treasures that I've taken from God. So very interesting definitions that Baba gives but the most important thing; the loyalty, the faithfulness. And in that Baba is very demanding. Again, not because Baba needs my attention; Baba doesn't need anything from me. But if I'm totally faithful and loyal to One, then my connection with God is going to be clean and clear and I'll be able to receive power from Baba. And Baba’s very clear in today's murli. Yes the first step is to love Baba but the next step is really to be able to take power from the Almighty.

And the power is the power within of course. But think about the power of peace, the power of love, the power of purity. And so one is where I’m experiencing my own original stage of purity and peace and power; that also comes only through the connection with God, it wouldn't come otherwise. But the next step where, it's not just my own inner experience, but more than that, it’s what Baba’s been talking about in recent times; am I able to give that power to another to support them and help them move forward on their journey? And so that can happen by interaction. But it can also happen by creating an atmosphere, an atmosphere in which there’s love and truth and joy and so on. But to create that atmosphere, then it's not just my own inner experience of these qualities, but I've taken them from Baba to such an extent that it's become a power that’s able to reach out and support others and create an atmosphere which is of benefit for all. And so we've seen how Baba, avyakt BapDada, a few times it was seen that, whether it was in Om Shanti Bhavan or the Meditation Hall, not so much in Shantivan - once in Shantivan also, that somebody creates disturbance. And everybody's attention is in that direction and Baba will gently say; you don’t need to think about it, others are taking care of it, you just stay where you need to be. And Baba’s presence would stop that disturbance completely and not just stop it in terms of the gathering and where our attention was going, but also in terms of the person who was creating the disturbance. And Baba’s presence, Baba’s power would make them completely calm and still. I'm sure many of you would have been in the hall when this happened. I don't remember dates and things but definitely it happened several times.

And so Baba’s demonstrated how one individual can create disturbance, we know about that, but also Baba's presence can change the atmosphere totally. Baba’s presence can change an individual; we've seen that also. Again many of us in Madhuban, whether it was the time of personal meetings with Baba, or whether it was just when Baba’s speaking within the gathering, the arrow hits the target of the heart so deeply that it brings about change. And so that is spiritual power, that is the power of love or the power of truth; then you don't forget what Baba has said at that time or one of the Dadis has said and told you.

And so Baba wants all of us to reach the (highest) stage because it's a big, big, big world out there and the troubles are increasing and they’re going to increase further, we know that. So understanding that, I don't want to leave myself open to all the other influences but I need to take power from Baba through my loyalty, my faithfulness to Baba so that when I connect with Baba there's no other distractions. Or even, something happens; who is the first person or being who I remember? Dadi used to say when she felt pain; she's not going to think about her doctor, she's going to think about Baba. And for most people they feel pain, and I don’t mean just a little scratch or something but intense pain, they'll think about their doctor. And Dadi said; that second first is Baba and then yes, call the doctor, no problem. But first, where does my intellect go? Who is it who is truly the support of my life? Who is it who is going to give me power to cope with whatever it is I need to cope with? And so that quality of faithfulness and loyalty where it’s not human beings that I’m dependent on, it's not things that I'm dependent on, it’s not places that I'm dependent on; ‘I'll only have a good stage if I'm in such and such a place or I'll only have a good stage if so-and-so is supporting me’. And today Baba is very, very clear; make sure that you don't depend on any of these things and your stage and the quality of your service is what Baba’s asking you to have, so that you can be Baba’s instrument now and in the coming times.

We often think about our attachments and how to deal with attachments but the other aspect of this is that rather than think about my attachments, can I think about my attainments? Because attachment goes where you think you're going to receive something and of course when you don't receive what you want, then there’s huge pain and sorrow. But all that I need is coming to me from Baba; really, truly. If I remember that and I connect with Baba more and more and take all that I need from Baba, my attachments to others will dissolve because now I'm truly recognizing and experiencing that everything is coming from the Source, from One. And so when Baba says; ‘only remember Me alone’ and ‘only be faithful and loyal to Me alone’, it's for my sake. And so can I follow Baba's instructions and can I experience that loyalty so that then I'm able to take all that I need from Baba.

And one other big thing that Baba’s taken up is the whole subject of carelessness. And Baba puts it in the category of one of the ten vices. Sometimes we define Ravan (Ravan’s heads) as five of male, five of female and so the combination, the family path, the path in which there's sorrow, Ravan’s path. But sometimes Baba also speaks about Ravan the ten-headed monster and each soul filled with the influence of Ravan. So not just five but ten vices and carelessness is on the top of the list of the ten. So five, the big ones and then carelessness the sixth one. And why? Because it creeps up on you. You become careless in little ways and you then become careless in more and more ways. And Baba’s used the term; all of you are very comfortable where you are because you're ‘sleeping on the Dunlop pillow’. And today you think it's comfortable and this is how it should be but tomorrow you're going to find that because you became lax you missed out on the things that Baba wanted to give you. So a big, big check-point in terms of what are Baba’s instructions and am I thinking, ‘well it's not such a big deal. It's okay, it'll get sorted out’. So I'm not giving it that attention or using power from Baba to deal with it. So a very strong murli today, put very beautifully of course. And so when you first hear it, it all sounds logical, it all sounds right, it's beautiful. And then you begin to reflect on it and you see that Baba’s being very, very straight. Baba’s the Truth so Baba doesn't need to package it. Very strong murli but one that we all need to hear and pay attention to.

Om Shanti

Sudesh Didi – The Power of Possibility on Guru Purnima – 2nd July 2023 Sunday Morning Class - GRC, Oxford, UK

5 July 2023

Om shanti.

India is a land of celebrations every day. Today, in accordance with the Indian tradition of celebration is Guru Purnima, It is a reminder of the auspicious day dedicated to truth, known as Guru Purnima or the full moon. An array of grand and lengthy celebrations will take place, honouring and worshipping the Guru.

Baba, the Satguru, has dispelled the darkness. Guru signifies the dispeller of darkness, the eternal source of light. And Baba says that He is not just a Guru, but a Satguru - the True Father, the True Guru, and the True Teacher. What Baba taught us, which later became the path of bhakti, is now remembered through various rituals that are deeply remembered in our hearts and consciousness, the memories of the soul. As we continue to celebrate, we now understand and appreciate the importance of this truth. Today, the majority of ancient religions, which now identify themselves as the Hindu religion, observe this celebration. Not only Hindus, but Buddhists and Jains also partake in the celebration of this day. It is a day where followers of different paths come together to honour and worship their respective teachers and gurus. Similar to Teachers' Day, it is a day that highlights the significance of knowledge, as Baba speaks about.

The origin of this celebration is in the form of a memorial of when a yogi appeared in the mountains emitting a bright light that attracted people towards him. Although he did not speak a word and no words were uttered by his mouth, the power emanating from his eyes was so bright and so powerful that it shone like a brilliant beam of light. The tears that streamed down his face eventually formed a tree, giving rise to what is now called the Rudraksha mala (beads). Those who were focused on this light experienced a powerful love coming from the eyes. This drishti became pearls. These pearls then grew into a tree known as Rudraksha, a tree that Baba speaks about. When we focus on Baba, without the need for words, when we begin to experience true love from Baba, we become merged in his eyes and this is drishti. It is through this drishti that Baba touches us, transforming us into real diamonds, we become valuable children. Just as a diamond has many facets, we develop all our powers and qualities.

On this day, it is believed that the Bhagavad Gita was composed by Veda Vyasa. Baba says that He tells us the knowledge of all the Vedas and other scriptures, but He also gives us the wisdom, for us to understand the importance of putting that wisdom into action. The true power lies in imbibing these teachings into actions. Establishing a connection with Baba means to have all relationships with Him. It is through this connection that different aspects of light and various powers are attained.

Yesterday, a question was raised “Have you received any help from Baba, as Baba says, ‘I will help you.’" Today, I would like to share my personal experience to answer this question. These experiences are not only help, but rather miraculous stories that are truly interesting.

During my trip to Dubai, as I arrived at the airport, at the immigration desk, the officer informed me that I would not be allowed entry into the country. Naturally, I inquired about the reason behind this decision and presented my valid visa. The officer stated that my passport contained an Israeli stamp, which deemed me ineligible for entry.

I persisted in my efforts to explain the urgency of my situation. I mentioned that there were sisters and brothers awaiting my arrival outside the airport and, unfortunately, I did not have any contact information on hand. In an attempt to find solutions, I suggested the idea of having an officer or a policeman accompany me to meet these waiting individuals. In order to convey the reason for my inability to leave the airport, I even expressed my willingness to temporarily surrender my passport.

Fortunately, the immigration officer eventually agreed and assigned someone to accompany me. As anticipated, the people I mentioned earlier were waiting for me outside the airport. I explained to them the reason for my inability to exit.

One brother among them had a close relationship with the Indian Ambassador in Dubai. However, it was Friday and the embassy was closed. But he decided to give it a try anyway. He approached the embassy and informed them of my situation. While they were unable to provide direct assistance, they offered a solution: they would issue a new passport for me.

He arrived at the airport with his office supplies, including stamps. He guided me through the process of taking a new photograph and filling out the necessary forms. Remarkably, within just one hour, he had prepared everything and secured the visa for me. With the new passport in hand, I was able to leave the airport and spend a week in Dubai.

During my stay, the kind-hearted brother retained my old passport and gave me the new one. As the officer at the airport was aware of my situation, I could not leave the country. this passport remained   in my possession for a total of eight days. Then, the ambassador accompanied me to the airport and ensured that I boarded the plane safely. At that point, he returned my original passport to me, which was essential for me to enter London due to the visa it contained. So, this is first passport story.

The second passport story revolves around my quest to obtain a British passport. But because I was always travelling, there was no time to submit my passport for the stamping process. I needed to give my passport temporarily to obtain the visa stamp.

During this time, a new German ambassador arrived in Germany. I took the opportunity to meet him and establish a connection. As we conversed, he unexpectedly asked, "Which truck are you stuck with?" I was perplexed by the question, as I did not own a truck. He explained that he had dreamt of me travelling with a truck full of sweets and milk, but encountering a problem where the truck was stuck. Then, I realised the metaphorical meaning behind his dream, and I said, “Yes, that I have one truck stuck.” I explained that I was constantly on the move and my old passport was holding me back from getting the new one made. I requested his assistance in keeping the old passport active until I could replace it with a new one. This would allow me to travel using the visa stamp from America.

The ambassador agreed to help and made a new passport for me, preserving the potential to continue using the American visa stamp. Although I did not immediately travel during this period, this practical support had helped with my British passport.

The third story about was when I went to Switzerland for an event by car, at the time when there were many incidents about passport being stolen. This would have been 18 years ago. So, I was always very careful.

It began when I left my bag in the car while it was raining. I had a lecture to give in Zurich and wanted to leave my bag in a safe place while I was present. I had a thought that I should check the bag, but I shrugged it off, as it was locked and should be fine. I handed the bag over to the sister who took care and was clearing the bag, and so I forgot about it, assuming everything was secure.

The third story your passport So I went to Switzerland event by car. And I had the thought again and again that that time it was a story of passport getting stolen. People used to this is now story about 18 years ago. So I was  always very careful. So I left my bag and it was raining. And I put in my bag and went to give a lecture in Switzerland, Zurich. But I had a thought that I should check my bag I should check but I've said anyway, it's locked. So I came and put the bag in there as usually put, and sisters take care was clearing the bag, and so I forgot about it thinking everything was safe.

I had to travel to India 2nd November, and a night before I had to travel to India. I planned to sort out my passport in advance, given how busy I knew the following day would be. So, one day before I thought okay, let me sort out my passport before I travel, because tomorrow is very busy day the last day. So It was nearly midnight when I had packed up everything. But where's my passport?

I could not find my passport anywhere. It was already midnight, and I pondered whether I should make a phone call for help. I remembered that one of the sisters had been responsible for taking care of my belongings. I thought to myself, maybe she had kept it in a safe place. The next morning, after Amrit Vela, I approached her and asked, "Where did you pack my passport?" she said, "I didn't put your passport anywhere. You had placed it there yourself." I said that it had been in my bag. She said, "There was nothing there. Even if there was, I didn't remove it from your bag." There was one day in between, before I had to make a trip to Madhuban. I believed the passport had been taken or lost. So, the sister and I decided to report the incident to the police station in the morning at six o'clock.

We arrived outside the police station and pressed the button. There was no officer on duty, and the station was not officially open. Someone came and opened the door. The officer who assisted us was very helpful, especially since I did not have the telephone number for the embassy. The officer took my details and made a phone call to the Indian Embassy on my behalf. He explained the situation and requested assistance for me, mentioning that I needed to attend a special conference organised by the government at that time.

The officer informed the embassy that I had to attend a conference in two days, and that they needed my passport to process the necessary documents. Given that it was the officer from the police station calling, it was a good approach. The embassy informed us that their office would close at one o'clock and advised us to visit before then if we wanted to obtain a new passport.

We had a three-hour journey to the embassy, so we prepared the form and gathered everything needed to obtain a new passport. We were caught in traffic, and arrived at the embassy only 15 minutes before it was one o’clock. We made it into the office and submitted the necessary documents.

The staff at the Indian Embassy were so helpful and efficient. They immediately asked for all the necessary details, filled out the form, and took my signature. Before the embassy closed, they handed me my new passport. With the passport in hand, I was able to board a flight to and flew to India.

This shows how certain situations go beyond just receiving help from baba, but instead, become miracles orchestrated by Baba. This is how Baba helps us, making the impossible possible.

Sudesh Didi – 1st July 2023 Murli Revision Class - GRC, Oxford UK: How to Cure Ourselves

3 July 2023

Om shanti. Good morning. Today, Baba explains in the Murli that we establish divine sovereignty by following Shrimat. To achieve self-sovereignty, we must cut the bondages that we have created ourselves. Baba provides us with the method and tools to break free from these bondages. We need to recognise that we are bound by our own nature and sanskars, and no one else has control over us. It is our own body consciousness that creates the bondages and brings desires. This body consciousness also leads to sickness, proving how weak and sick we have become. The effects of this are visible in our nature, behaviour, reactions, and activities. But now is the time to become ever-healthy, ever-wealthy, and ever-happy. To achieve this, we need to use Baba's method.

Baba says that by following Shrimat, we can cure ourselves. We may question how we can follow Brahma Baba when he is not physically present. But it is not necessary for the person to be physically present for us to follow them. For example, consider assembling furniture. We often see the phrase "do it yourself" on the packet, which comes with a manual and step-by-step instructions. We follow these instructions exactly. The important thing is to not mix our own opinions or intelligence into the instructions. Instead, we must become like students and learn, regardless of our existing skills. If we have assembled furniture many times before, it becomes easy. But if we mix something up, we have to dismantle and re-establish it. The steps outlined in the manual are usually easy to follow. Another example is following a recipe from a television show. We do not need to be physically present with the person showing the recipe, but we can still follow the directions given.

Similarly, we should check whether we are truly following Baba's directions or if we are mixing in our own opinions and thoughts. All our weaknesses, sickness, bondages, and suffering come from body consciousness. Our body is made of nature and matter. We are influenced by external factors and react accordingly. If someone does not accept us or if we feel disrespected, it matters to us. The nature of others or our own nature shows how much anger lies within us and how deep our desires are, whether they are visible or hidden. Sometimes, sickness may exist internally while remaining invisible externally. Baba tells us to keep our natural nature cool and clean.

So, in order to be rejuvenated, we need to keep our mind clean, cool, and calm. We should check whether our mind is truly clean and our intellect clear. What is it that makes us angry? Are we using our eyes, ears, and mouth in a negative way? I begin to use my eyes, ears in a wrong way to analyse the external scene in a total different way, or my mouth speaks the words that are not respectful, and I am not aligned with my self-respect. So, I have to check my nature and cure my nature.

Actually, this Murli was spoken at the time from Delhi, a nature-cure doctor had come to Baba. He repeatedly talked to Baba about the need for nature cure there. Baba then spoke about how nature can be cured when our inner nature is cured. Our current nature makes us feel unhealthy. Our mind, relationships, and behaviour are not healthy. The sickness that manifests in the body is a reflection of this. It is evident that 90% of diseases and sicknesses are stress-related and born in the mind. They are influenced negatively by our attitudes and feelings. We need to purify our mind.

We need to determine the level of concentration and focus our mind has in order to keep our thoughts clean. Is our intellect able to grasp what Baba is teaching us, or do we rely too much on our own thinking, creating and imagining our own interpretations? We need to recognise the influences that have affected us. These influences may appear to come from outside, but they actually originate from within. The reactions we have are not caused by external factors, but rather by our own impressions, feelings, and doubts that we have adopted over time. We need to question if this is truly our nature or if it has been shaped by our body consciousness and ignorance.

To be cured and free from the effects of external influences, we need to protect ourselves. This requires knowledge and the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. If we do not protect ourselves, it becomes difficult to remove these influences as they accumulate, and cure ourselves. The external effects and the defects of the self do not allow us from performing righteous actions.

We want to have a clear understanding in our mind and perform perfect actions. We want our thoughts to be clear, our intellect to have faith and right understanding, and our interactions to be neutral. We aim to be free from confusion, fear, and tension in order to attain karmateet stage

All three aspects - mind, body, and wealth - are very important to self-cure and liberation, not just for myself but for the entire world. Nature Cure is the means to cure my own personality, which I have mistakenly believed to be weakened or affected by external factors. Instead, it is my own qualities, which have been given by Baba. So, the cure lies within me, just as the weakness comes from within. To transform my nature, I must become introverted and check the source and origin of this sickness. I have to take responsibility for my own self, I cannot leave this responsibility to others. By cultivating the original state, I can restore my natural and original nature of bodilness-ness.

It is not the body itself that makes me sick, but it is body consciousness that makes me sick. Whether I feel anger, upset, disturbed, or suffer from internal or external illnesses, the cure and the sickness both originate within me. So, I must turn inward with introspection. Why have I become sick? It is because I have consumed something wasteful, not externally, but within my own thoughts. I have recognised it as waste, yet I retain it. This waste weighs me down and I cannot move further with my progress. I have been stopped by my own self. I am responsible for this obstruction due to my own ignorance, laziness, and carelessness, and have to invest my energy into changing around what it is that is overpowering me.  In essence, it is a love for the self.

What is my love for myself? Love for someone is taking care of what one loves. We protect, preserve, and empower those we love. Similarly, if I truly embrace the consciousness of being a self-sovereign soul, I can overcome body consciousness. It is not the body consciousness that disturbs me, but rather my true nature of soul consciousness. When I am holding my true state of soul consciousness, I can conquer body consciousness. Even if external influences exist, I must protect myself. Fire is there, but I need the patience, purity, humility, and gentleness to not let it consume me. Impatience is also an internal trait, not an external one. By embracing and using my original qualities that are eternally within me, I can transform external influences. I realise that weakness does not come from outside; rather, I have been attributing it to external sources. I have created an account with myself, and now I must clear it on my own.

Soul consciousness means awakening the dormant, sleeping original qualities within me. This is only possible if I follow Baba's Shrimat. What is Shrimat? The first Shrimat is to be bodiless, to be soul conscious. So, if I am not bodiless, I cannot be soul conscious. When I am soul conscious, I am automatically bodiless. These two aspects are intertwined; like two sides of the same coin, their value lies in their unity. The more conscious I become of my eternal qualities, the more I become body-less, and use my physical organs in conjunction with these qualities. Body conscious means my organs are not being used with qualities because my wrong thoughts. So, my thinking, my drishti, my hearing my mind, the way of dealing with my own self and interactions with others are totally different.

Being bodiless means that using vices less and less through the body and that degree reduces over time. Nature Cure involves changing habits and expressions to achieve the original state of being. This is called "cure". Cure means the purer I become, the more I am cured. So where impurity came from, from outside from inside? The impurity comes from within, due to my lack of knowledge, understanding, and action towards myself. I react more act less. I reacted: Why are you getting angry?  Instead of reacting, I should act. Why am I influenced? Why am I getting angry? Why am I getting upset? I need to recognise my own mistakes instead of blaming others.

I need to focus on my original qualities rather than reacting to others. It is through my own actions that I can change my nature for the better. Instead of simply reacting to external circumstances, I must take conscious steps to shape my own actions and thoughts. By doing so, I can create a positive shift in my nature. Just as water extinguishes fire, I must change my nature and take opposite actions instead of reacting to others. This change comes from within. Introspection, inner-inspection of my own self  helps identify where I went wrong and correct my nature. In the past, my extroverted nature has caused me to focus on the defects of others, and I reacted. As a result, I create new accounts the other person reacts to me or have an impression, and I feel the vibrations of them. I become influenced by their vibrations and start labelling them as jealous, hateful, competitive: This one is jealousy with me; this one is hatred; this one is competition. This cycle perpetuates because I am not able to maintain pure consciousness within myself.

I need to tap into my qualities more to finish my weaknesses. This is why introspection, inspecting myself deeply, checking and changing, and taking righteous actions is important. By doing so, I can free myself from the need to persuade or blame others. Until now, I have been like a lawyer or an expert, trying to convince myself or to blame to others. So our nature did not change, it became more firm. In fact, it has only made me more determined to look for weaknesses and prove the weaknesses of others. But I have not realised that I am not using my original powers that are there.

Knowledge is meant to be applied. I have to use the recipe that Baba has given, and I have to follow it. But I find myself mixing other things in it. In order to become the pure self that I was before, I need to truly know myself, realise myself, be myself. Then, karmateet, I can return to the state of pure consciousness that I once was.  To achieve this liberation, I must free myself from the account that my soul has accumulated through negative and wasteful thinking, doubtful understanding, and reactive responses.  It also requires acknowledging that the vices, which we often say they are Ravan’s property, while they are actually my own creations. Where does desire come from? The origin of desires lies within me, within my body consciousness. So, I must examine how my thoughts, which were once detached and neutral, have become possessive, whether of my own or of others. And I have noticed my intellect which was totally egoless, natural, and pure has become an ego-driven intellect, comparing myself to others.

So, it begins with me. The process of resetting and creating a new world starts with me and is my responsibility. So in order to reset my new world, we are helping God to bring about this rejuvenation of the world to its original state, to be the same what was before, we need to remember these three mantra: Manmanabhav, Maddhyajibhav, and Hum so, so Hum.

“Be Mine with your mind, make your mind like My Mind.” So God thinks, though He is bodiless. Does He not think? So even in a state of being bodiless, I can think. I thought we could not think without matter. How does God think? So it must be the power in the mind that, without the body, one can think. For example, in moments such as when I am asleep but still experiencing deep thoughts. Though unaware on a conscious level, the mind continues to engage in thought.

Manmanabhav can facilitate the cleansing of my mind and thoughts. This is possible only when I am silent inside, through inner silence and disciplined practice. In silence the mind is thinking less. As the mind is thinking less and less, the intellect is arguing less and less, then, through this cultivation of silence, I become a detached observer.

Otherwise, I allow myself to absorb external influences, it reveals my desire to connect with and to be attracted by similar kind of interest.  So, my aim is to become Maddhyajibhav , adopting virtues in action, qualities in action, and powers in actions. And then the final liberation is hum so, so hum, As I was, so shall I be. I was that I am. that I am not the current limitations at the present time but for all time my conscious with this mantra, we are able to liberate ourselves.  Manmanabhav, Maddhyajibhav, and Hum so, so Hum.

Hum so what? Pure. Hum so what? A child of God.  Hum so what? A bodiless soul. Hum so what? A divine being. The process of purifying my nature begins with purifying myself. Purity is the cure. Impurity came within me, so, purity has to come from within. I must purify my nature by following Baba’s directions, following Shrimat, using my mind, body and the wealth given by Baba. Knowledge is wealth, virtues are wealth, power is wealth. When I use this wealth, I liberate myself and liberate others. So, yukti (method) is needed. I am responsible for the account that I have created for myself, and I am the one who has to settle it. But Baba's guidance serves as an essential direction in this process. Baba is giving it, and I need to apply it. Then I can become karmateet.

Then we can attain perfection, perfect-action, free from outer defect if I have taken, as well as inner defects. Perfect free from effect of actions, free from defects. Any defects that have entered through external influences will become our own internal defects. Cure nature, by healing our nature, we embody a pure nature. This may seem like philosophy at first glance, but in reality, it is the active engagement of the soul. Words may convey a philosophical tone, but the true understanding comes from realising and experiencing this reality first-hand.

Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – How to conquer attachment – 30th June 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London

30 June 2023

Om shanti. Good morning. Golden morning, beautiful morning, unlimited, unending, eternal, pure powerful morning of diving deep in the Ocean of Love. And seeing the wonder of the specialities power of God's Love, self-love and benevolent love for the whole world. On the one side, it is very cool, on the other side, it is very powerful, when the Sun and the Ocean come together with this property and power, unlimited, unending, the different powers of the Seed, the Sun and the Ocean. Baba says, “It is the time of returning home.” Pack up everything. Remember who? Remember yourself; remember Baba.

Careless and Laziness

Question: Please explain the catchphrase “Aaram Haram Hai” (Rest is not allowed).

Sudesh Didi:  Today’s Murli mentioned, “It is a sin to rest.” It is not the literal “rest” that is a sin, it is carelessness that separates us from our truth. This is because being lazy and wasting time and energy goes against our true nature, pure vision, and pure consciousness. "Aaram Haram Hai" is a common saying in the worldly sense. People tend to use it when someone is being lazy and not fulfilling their duties.

So, in this aspect, Baba says that teachers should be active. not only resting in one place, but should be actively running ten centres. Now, it is increasing in India, that one sister in charge of that area would have at least 50-100 centres, and many hands are also created, with lots of training. This helps to ensure that there is no time for rest, but there are enough hands to share the workload. Baba also mentions that some are lazy, and this laziness is a mistake because it involves wasting time and energy. It is important to actively engage ourselves in fulfilling our duties instead of wasting our time and potential. But I would like to see the Hindi Murli to see the context and interpretation.

Conquering attachment

Question:  Could you discuss the method and process of removing attachment to the body and ideas? We talk about attachment to the world, but it seems the main thing is the attachment to the body and the mind.

Sudesh Didi: Do you want to be happy? Imagine walking through a forest filled with thorns that constantly prick and wound you, causing you to bleed. Would you continue walking through that painful path? No, you would either find a way to avoid it or protect yourself, perhaps by wearing something that can crush the thorns.

In the same way, we need to eliminate the source of our sorrows in order to find true happiness. The whole aim of human life is happiness. We often experience sorrow due to our attachments. It is important to understand that our attachments are usually to non-living things. While we say we love our bodies and minds, they are not truly alive. Instead, we should focus on loving our true selves. “Body” is not living, but I should love myself, we say it, when I love myself, my attachment will break automatically. As divine beings, our true property is the qualities of purity, peace, prosperity, health, and happiness.

At present, we experience impurity, peaceless-ness, sorrow, sickness, and unhappiness. The world has become immersed in impurity, where everything seems dirty. So, the whole thing is based on this game of vices and Godly powers, between the kingdom of Ravan and the Kingdom of God, who is the Comforter of Hearts.

So, when anger arises, what is lost? Peace is lost. When you find yourself getting angry, people often advise you to be peaceful and cool down. Anger creates a sense of peaceless-ness. Another gift from attachment is the constant fear of losing something. When we are attached to our bodies, we fear death. When we are attached to our wealth, we fear it being stolen. When we are attached to our name and fame, we fear being defamed. These are the various doors that open when attachment leads to sorrow.

We need to reflect on what we truly desire in life. Do we want to live a happy life or a life full of fear and sadness? The body is not bad; it is important. After all, it is our life partner, and we should care for it. And I should love it. Because without it, I cannot do anything. Even God cannot do anything. However, if we excessively pride ourselves on our beauty or have an attachment that nothing should happen to our bodies, we need to understand the rules and regulations of nature. If we lack the knowledge of how to handle our bodies, they will demand our attention forcefully. So, we need knowledge.

Baba teaches us to understand the philosophy or spiritual aspects of our bodies. It is not about losing our bodies, but rather letting go of body consciousness. In the Golden Age, we still have bodies, but we experience five important aspects: being beautiful, living in a peaceful world without war, enjoying harmonious relationships, having unlimited wealth with diamonds as building materials, and being detached from material possessions. This detachment becomes natural in our subconscious and conscious minds. Wealth and possessions exist, but we are not possessive or attached to them. Similarly, our bodies exist, but we do not cling to them. This state of detachment results in good health and a long life, free from desires and diseases.

Therefore, the gifts of suffering from the Kingdom of Ravan are peacelessness manifested as anger, and poverty stemming from greed. The more we possess, the greater our feeling of needing more and that something is missing, leading to the seed of greed. This attachment to material things signifies poverty, and in return, we lose our royalty.

Next, is health. In the Golden Age, our bodies are so healthy. Why? Because we are naturally soul conscious. Body consciousness is the doorway of impurity. Our bodies are connected to different levels of impurity in gross ways. There, we have long lives as we are virtuous and not possessive of our bodies. Our attachment is not to the body, and vices do not exist, making us more virtuous. The more virtuous we are, the more naturally we handle our bodies, appreciating them while not depending on them or being attached to them.

We enjoy a long life, a beautiful body, and a healthy body. Physical purity brings health, while diseases arise from lust, weakening the body, and shortening one's lifespan. The more inner purity we have, and the greater our discipline of soul consciousness, the longer our lives will be, and we will have beautiful bodies. But ego is the impurity which makes our vision impure, our attitude impure, our behaviour impure.

In the Golden Age, we become bodiless and healthy. Our attention and love are for the body, but we are not possessive or indulgent with physical organs. We appreciate, love, and enjoy everything, without any vices or impurities. This purity and vicelessness bring health.

A vicious person is unhealthy, and there is no wealth of real virtues, health, wealth, happiness, or relationships. Knowledge, virtue, and spiritual power are the true wealth, and that is health too. The purer we are, the healthier we are in our relationships, and the richer we become when generously relating to others. These things are interconnected.

When we become bodiless, we also become viceless. Then, the final subject is that we have to become egoless, as impurity stems from ego. The seed of body consciousness opens the door to sickness and impurity, but through the door of ego. Even small entrances to body consciousness can attract desires, leading to vices and impurities. Body consciousness for lust is not its only manifestation; it also means desires. Desires create disease, and so, desires are a disease, and one becomes unhealthy.

Ego is subtle yet powerful as it controls everything. To break free from attachment, Baba teaches us to become trustees, hand over everything and without any possessiveness or attachment to anything. How do I conquer attachment? By being bodiless having yoga with Baba, Having right knowledge inside, and using different methods of talking to myself then talking to Baba, talking to Ravan.

Why are you so possessive of me? It is because I love Ravan, that’s Ravan stays with me. Why am I angry? Because I want something, and you have not fulfilled my wish. I have ego in this. Our vices cause us to lose everything, leading to attachment. Our opinions, desires, and everything else are attachment. Deep within everything is attachment. The main thing is awareness that nothing belongs to us; everything is temporary and should be used with discipline and understanding. Our organs are not meant for indulging in vices but for donating virtues. But we use them mostly for vices due to ego and ignorance, which cause us to misuse things.

Deep within us lies attachment, and that is why our suffering increases. Is the body truly me? Is it really mine? No, it belongs to matter. I am a trustee responsible to look after it. However, due to lack of knowledge and failure to utilise it, I have to face the consequences. So, knowledge is crucial, yet its source remains incognito. Baba's knowledge encompasses various aspects, and we need to explore and understand its different explanations and applications.

Attachment, in essence, stems from both egocentrism and ignorance. I see myself very sensible but I am the other way round, whatever I am doing, it is without any sense. Despite thinking of ourselves as sensible, with real self-observation, we often realize that our actions lack true purpose. Why do we become attached? Ego. But what is the purpose of having ego? What purpose does attachment serve? Upon honest self-reflection, we often experience regret and repentance, wishing we have not engaged in certain behaviours.

So, purity, peace, prosperity, health, and happiness can only be attained when we break free from attachment. Ego itself is a form of attachment. Although its name is different, it manifests as the assertion of "my opinion," "my authority," "my idea," "my way of doing things." The combination of "I" and "my" serves as a couple, with "I" as the husband and "my" as its companion—representing our body consciousness, attachment, and ego.

Sister Jayanti – 11th June 2023, am GCH The bond of love that we establish now at Sangamyug with the entire family, carries us around the whole cycle

13 June 2023

Om Shanti. Good Morning.

Baba’s Murli can be summarised in the three words coming up in the song: ‘Nishtay’, faith and the signs of these Nischint, carefree and Nisjit, fixed. The sign of a faithful intellect is that we are totally carefree because we know victory is fixed in the drama. There will be scenes that come but when we maintain faith on four different levels then we won’t be shaken by the scenes: Faith in the self, Baba, family and Drama.

Faith in the self when Baba tells me who I am, and I don’t just believe it: I feel and experience it, and put that through as a practise in my life and faith in the self remains  stable.  If I understand but not practising or experiencing then it won’t come through in my life and it shakes the faith in the self and we fluctuate.  Will victory come, when is it going to come,  is it possible?  With faith these questions are eliminated. Two souls who the majority have seen who demonstrated this total faith in the self with humility.  On a lokik level if someone has selfconfidence it can also be ego.  If someone has spiritual self esteem there is a great deal of humility with it.  I am thinking of Dadi Janki, whose faith in the self never wavered.   And Dadi Prakashmani who would have a pure thought and then no question whether it would happen.

For 9 years we were homeless in terms of a place for class, here in London. Dadi and I would visit many different places. We went to many disused schools and hospitals as well as industrial estates and the missing factor was there was never two big halls where we could have for both Hindi and English Murli.  Now of course we need 3 halls, with Tamil Murli, and Baba has given us everything here.

But for the first few years we were not finding anything. At some point It was asked can Dadi Janki gently ask Baba when she is sitting beside Him on the gaddhi? ‘ Where do we go for a home for Baba’s children?’ (Some days it was a comedy as we would be standing on the street with our pots of Brahma Bhojan, trying to find an entry into a place, where the caretaker was still sleeping, and each Saturday evening it would be asked, where is class happening tomorrow?)  Dadi said, no Baba knows and will make things happen at the right time.  This was true.  The family had to get bigger and come together and create a plan for how we would use the House and the pennies were gathering in the pot.  And then Baba gave us this.    But Dadi’s total faith that it would happen and that we can’t push drama to make it happen, it will do so at the right time. In its sweet time, like a louse, not looking here and there, on the line.

Do I have that sort of faith in the self, Baba, Drama and the family? When there are doubts about the self, Baba is wanting to give us help but we are shaking and unstable and just like a phone when the connection is not firm  the power is not connected and so we are not charging, as we are not properly plugged in.  We need to be stable in the awareness of the soul.  Who am I?  Do I feel I am God’s child, a soul of the Golden Age, a victorious child of God?  The list of self respect is so long that if we take it up each day there will be one for each day of the year. The missing factor is lack of my own practise.  And also lack of faith in God:  On one level we say yes, of course we know Baba.  But on another level we push for things to happen, because we have false expectations.  We haven’t fully understood what God has to do and what we have to do.   God’s job is to show the way, give love and empower us.  Our job is to hold the hand of srimat and go into the stage of soul consciousness, which is the first srimat.  The second srimat is Manmanabhav, remember Me.  Not because we want something from Baba but with a heart full of love and truth. And if we connect with Baba on the basis of just love and honesty then Baba is going to give me all the power and the method to deal with what is happening.  Sometimes we waste a lot of time, going this and that way.  So connect with Baba and He will show me the right way.

Then there is faith in the family.  When I am not able to deal with things inside myself, then I project and don’t believe someone else is able to do this and that.  Then there are false expectations.  Baba has given me a beautiful family and they will definitely support me.  But I have to deal with Baba’s power and gyan with all my karmic situations.  The family doesn’t have to get involved with my karma, and we really shouldn’t get involved.  To take the spiritual love that the family offers, and yes that can be expressed in physical acts of kindness also.  But when I am expecting that souls ‘should’ be perfect and I am not, and should do this and the other, I am not looking at their situation and what is and not possible for them, I revert to complaining instead of creating an inner stage of contentment.

My karma and sanskars.  Recently Baba said:  it is easy to be a judge for others and a lawyer for the self.  We can justify what we are doing, but need to understand limitations of others also.  We say we have love for Baba but we have trouble with the family.  However Satyug is here:  Mutki is up there, but Jeevanmukti is down here.  It is a kingdom and a family.  So which family are we going to be with in Satyuga?  It is not going to be strangers.  It is going to be this family.  When bhakti begins every tradition/religion has a rosary and it is not one isolated bead.  It is many held together with a thread of love. If I wish to be part of the rosary of victory, or even 100,000 and 8 of the big rosay of the family,  the thread of love needs to remain in tact.  Have you ever tried threading beads together when there is a break in the thread.  The bead won’t pass through that and will get stuck. There would then be an unattractive necklace, which has been broken and a knot and the bead doesn’t pass  through.  So again and again do I have faith in the family and does the thread of faith break?  This would tell me what the future is.  Victory is when there is an unbroken thread.

Drama is Drama and whatever is fixed is happening now.  If I don’t keep the third eye open and know that whatever has happened so far has been beneficial and whatever is happening now will bring benefit.  I don’t keep this open and say why?  Baba challenges this very strongly.  You say you see the three aspects of time and a world transformer.  Yet you can’t change your mind or attitude?  You are not understanding what is happening.  So come back to the line of Drama and understand that if the soul has left it is due to the soul needing to play another role, probably a better role.  In Christianity they say that if a child has passed away,  it is because God’s wants another angel, loved by God.  Can I believe this.   If I do I will understand that God and Drama are benevolent and always ready to give me help and whatever power we need.

It is difficult to remember these thoughts, attitudes and feelings suddenly when something happens,  but if I practise them over a period of time then it  becomes natural. We say that ‘sanskars are natural’ but Baba says hang on, did you have the sanskar of  getting irritated in the golden age?  Are they original?  No, then they are not our natural sanskars.  If it started later on, especially if it started in the Copper or Iron Age.  We probably have sanskars that started just in the Iron Age and they are not our ‘natural’ sanskars.  So come back to the story of the soul and emerge the sanskars of Satyug: of joy, love and truth.  Is faith natural.  Yes the deities have faith in themselves, the family and the beauty of the Drama.  Every moment in the present, precious and appreciated.   There is no faith in God, as they don’t know God.  But they are God’s children, and so God says, go play and enjoy yourself.  No need to sit and remember Me.  At this moment can I emerge the original sanskars of the soul and hold onto that these as my natural sanskars and the more I practise these sanskars of Satyug the more I will feel they belong to me and they will emerge.  Once Dadi saw Baba dancing on his toes, and there was only the music in his consciousness.

I also saw how Dadi’s classes got shorter and shorter and in 2018/19 there were not many long classes that Dadi took, so what was she doing……expressing love and happiness, and that was it.  Baba, Baba, Baba and nothing else.  The sign when there is lightness and joy and based on purity.  Together with that absolute stability on drama.  Today tests come and they are part of my karmic story.  It can be the same situation but they are not a test for you, but for me.  Can I take Baba’s help and create a different consciousness so that even if a soul has passed away I can send God’s love and light to that soul.  Then I am stable in faith that Drama is right and accurate.  Then it is comfort for me and for those around me.  More than that there is solace and comfort for the soul that has passed on.  When a soul leaves a body and gets catapulted into a foetus in a mother’s womb, the soul has to come to terms with that new situation.  Our thoughts of God’s love and light will help that soul feel more and more comfortable in their new home.  David Cadman spoke about the neurology of the mother and child starts bonding from the moment when the soul arrives in the womb.  This is true that there is a bond of love there and within the circle of souls that develop around them.   The bond of love that we establish now at Sangamyug with the entire family carries us around the whole cycle.

It is a beautiful Murli on faith and victory through faith.  Also faith in your victory.  And victory on two levels. One is the transformation within the self. Can I believe that I can become satopradhan?  If I don’t believe I will make excuses for the self.  When we believe that we were and will be the satoproadhan soul then my journey will be steady and consistent to make it happen.  Also faith in Baba’s task and the quality of method.  When we use the right method then of course there will be success. The method that Baba gives me, is no selfishness and no expectation of fruit.   I do it because it is Baba’s job and Baba has put me here and I can do it.  So let me do this without any other motive for the self, and with the right method.

Baba’s big task of course is guaranteed.  How far is satyug?  Just as a soul and body is close together so too Satyug is as close as soul and body.  When we believe that and practise that awareness Satyug will arrive.  Drama is waiting for us to get there

This month is Mama’s month and sure you are preparing yourselves for that.  I am aware some have been having special yoga as preparation for the 24th June, and if you haven’t, a sweet reminder you can start now.  It is interesting that the International Day of Yoga, 21st June and Mama’s day come so close together.  The significance of Mama, the one with total purity, and the one who is supporting God’s work through her purity.  So prepare for both.  I won’t be here physically for Mama’s Day but Sudesh Didi will be here.  Baba looks after London very well.  I often get asked how come there are two of you in London.  I say London is a very big family and both of us are here.  I will be in Australia this year for Mama’s Day and return here by the end of the month.

Om Shanti

Sudesh Didi – The Concept of Omnipresence – 31st May 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London

3 June 2023

Om shanti. Baba emphasised the main aspect of the concept of God being omnipresent. This concept arises because of the deep love that devotees have for God. The devotees who are honest, always regard God as their most beloved and, on thinking of Him, immediately place their hand over their heart and feel His presence within.

Love, fear, faith, and respect are the four factors that contribute to the widespread concept of omnipresence. The fear of God arises from the understanding that certain actions are wrong and cannot be changed. In order to stop people from doing wrong, they create fear in the scriptures. The idea that God is always watching you, no matter where we are, reminds people that their actions have consequences. God is watching you, even if you are doing wrong things, wherever you are, He is everywhere and He is watching you. You cannot do anything secretly, and this idea is illustrated through many stories. For instance, there is a story about someone who was given a bird and told to kill it where no one could see. The person went into the forest, and proceeded to kill the bird, thinking that no one was around to witness it. But another person pointed out that God was watching, and even though the person did not notice, God sees everything and is present everywhere.

We now understand that in order to watch someone’s actions, physical presence is not necessary. Now, with advanced technology, it is possible to monitor activities taking place under the earth, behind thousands of walls, or in faraway countries. This means that someone can be watching us, regardless of our location.  So, in order to watch someone, one does not have to be physically present.

Just like a mother warns her child, “Don't put your finger in this in the socket.” “The spider will bite you,” so is the concept of God watching over us to stop us from doing wrong. In fact, it was because people did not have effective methods to make others aware of the consequences of their wrong actions, so they just say, “God will punish you,” as a means to prevent people from making mistakes or committing wrong acts.

So, the concept of karma philosophy was not well understood. People believed that their suffering was caused by God as a form of punishment. Fear was the main factor. There was another aspect that was equally powerful, which was the love and faith in God. When someone loves God deeply, it is just like a mother saying, “My child, you are the star of my eyes. You are seated in my heart.” This is not meant to be taken literally. A six-foot child cannot really sit in the eyes, or in the heart. It is a language of love, to express pure feelings of love.

For those who dedicated their lives to God, it was an expression of love. They built temples as a symbol of their love and respect for God. These buildings were infused with a Godly energy of love and faith. When people prayed in these temples and their wishes were fulfilled, they believed that God was present and listening to their prayers. The statues of deities such as Hanumanji, Ganeshji, or Sri Krishnaji are believed to have the power to fulfill people's desires. As a result, people's faith in these statues grew, and more and more of them were built.

When violence and corruption began, and people troubling each other, they said, “See everyone as God. Don't cause anyone sorrow.” The idea was, “In everyone, you see God, God is in you, God is in me.”  But this did not bring any benefits because it raises the question of why God would cause suffering if He is supposed to be benevolent and powerful. It did not make sense to believe that God would cause suffering while also watching over us.

When you remember God, your vision immediately goes up. It is believed that when someone passes away, they go to the heavenly abode where God resides. It is because people did not have the right understanding of God that the concept of omnipresence became stronger and stronger.

It is not necessary to be physically present in order to have an experience of something. For instance, a doctor can feel your pulse and prescribe medicine without being physically present inside your body. So, Baba is all knowledge-full, but is not present in everyone. God has all knowledge, or Sarvasva, because He is the Observer of this unlimited play and is knowledge-full. He makes us knowledge-full and gives us with clear understanding. For the people who did not possess this knowledge, they adopted different methods to remove evil from society and from individuals. They were told not to cause sorrow to others because God resides in each one’s heart, and causing sorrow would result in punishment from God. But at that time, they forgot that they themselves were God, that God was sitting in them doing something wrong, and was punishing them. God did it through their body and was punishing them. So, Baba says that people are confused about the concept of omnipresence, but that there is a different meaning and intention behind the concept of omnipresence that people may not fully understand.

God now gives clear knowledge about the differences between souls: great souls, pure souls, weak souls, and impure souls. The Supreme Soul is only One, who is loving, giving, and forgiving to all. This concept of one God means that we are all children of God. The Father is one, but the children are many. Souls are plural, but God is singular, the one Supreme Soul.  So, God gives knowledge to souls, and when we become soul conscious, He definitely makes us become like Himself. But this does not mean that He makes us God. He makes us knowledgeable, peaceful, loving, blissful, and powerful.

Sometimes, when two things are alike, they are referred to as one. For example, a father and child may be seen as one because they share a similar concept and idea. They say the father and son are one, this means their opinion is one, but this does not mean that they are literally one. So, there was a lack of knowledge and understanding, which led to misunderstandings in language and intention. Despite having good intentions and wanting to avoid making mistakes, this misunderstanding took us away from God.

God is only One, Baba emphasises it again and again, that He is incorporeal, invisible. But it is love that makes you feel that He is with you, visible for you. Through the light of love, He is visible for you. You can feel His presence through the knowledge of love and understanding. It is important to understand that if God was a human being, He could not be the Father of all. He is the Father of all and is One for all, but only in an incorporeal form. A bodily father, Adam, Eve, or Prajapita Brahma, cannot be the father of all souls. The Father of souls is a soul. Just as animals have their children in a certain way, human beings have their children like wise; birds have children like wise. It would not make sense to say that the child of a fish is an elephant, or an elephant is the child of a bird. Baba gives us the energy to become more like Him, to be bodiless, and to remember that we are eternal. When we have the right understanding, yoga is also good.

Question:  Can you clarify what is “intellect yoga”?
Sudesh Didi: The yoga of the intellect means to remember Baba with the right understanding. This is because the soul is the one remembering Baba. When I am in soul consciousness and remember Baba, my understanding comes first, followed by my faith in Him, and then my love for Him. The intellect is deciding you are not this body, you are soul. Your original quality is peace.

When our mind is clear and we have the right knowledge, we are able to withdraw our attention and attachment from others and connect with the One who is bodiless. This is why it is said, "Turn your mind towards Me," but how? By having yoga of the intellect. Through yoga, we can remember what we are originally, and our sanskars will support us in this process.

You are soul conscious by being conscious that you are not only the mind, you are not just the intellect alone, and you are not the sanskars alone. You are combined energy. But the intellect is in the middle like the pair of scales, the handling is in the intellect. When these three are becoming equal, yoga is full; peaceful, loveful and powerful. You do not fluctuate and can hold onto your energy of peace and love. But how? By having the right knowledge in your mind. This is called faith. Loveful intellect becomes victorious and when everything becomes good, clear and right, you want to keep this feeling and have love for it.

Question: Can you give us practical tips for the practice of soul consciousness?
Sudesh Didi:  Practical tip is: While I did not practise that I am a body, I did practise it unconsciously from my childhood. In the same way, I need to remind myself I am a soul, re-mind myself again and again until it becomes natural.

Question: As we do not remember the last cycle, can you explain how "nothing new" works practically?
Sudesh Didi: It is the question of understanding drama practically. What is drama? Drama cannot exist in the Soul World. Drama exists here. Actors exist here. And drama means the laws of nature and the laws of spirituality. When both are working together, acts take place.

The soul works through the body, and whatever is recorded in it will come to fruition at the right time. For example, a seed contains the entire tree within it. The whole tree is merged in that seed, and at the right time, the tree will emerge because it is the law of nature. The trunk and branches will grow and take shape. According to the law of nature, when you leave your body, you will not be reborn with an old body, but with a new one. This same system is recorded in the soul: the system of soul consciousness, the qualities in the self, and divine actions. Whatever is recorded in you cannot happen beforehand, and will only come to fruition when the time is right.

Drama means the right time, the right scene, and the right action all coming together. When they align together, then, it is drama.

Baba says that when drama is happening, it is “nothing new” because the story is always the same, it is nothing new. The same story is being played. The story is the same: I was perfect. I lost my energy, I lost my consciousness, I started doing wrong things. As a result, I suffered. Now, by performing righteous actions, I become a hero. I have conquered numerous times before, and I will continue to conquer again and again. It is the same film, the same story will always unfold, and the same will happen.  Of course, there may be some differences between seasons, but that is because different season is a different scene. It is not possible to repeat the same scene, as each one is unique in its own way. It is a different scene, though it looks like it the same, but it is not the same. When a child is born, the functions of their body are the same as any other human being: eyes see, ears hear, all the organs of the body work in the same way. I would not say, “Oh it should not repeat,” it is repeating as this is simply the way that nature works. I see the laws of nature, and I continue to understand when we see this in the way that new fruits emerge. How do new fruits emerge? Even though fruit is unique and has its own qualities, they are still the same type of fruit. Whether it is a mango or an apple, they have similar qualities that are unique to their type, and same kind of quality emerges. This is just the way that nature works, and there is no need to be afraid of it. Nothing new. Just watch it as the unlimited play.

The problem is: the concept of repetition makes people afraid. Why? Because they do not understand the laws of nature: "Why should I make effort if I'm just going to have to do the same thing over and over again?" You eat every day. Tomorrow you will become hungry. Why should you eat today? Tomorrow you will get up again, so better not to sleep tonight. Your children are born. You work hard to build a beautiful building for them. They will die one day anyway, why are you working hard for them? But you understand the laws of nature, and you accept it.

The same is true for the laws of spirituality. So, drama has its significance, and it is important to understand these laws.

Om shanti.

Sister Jayanti – 28th May 2023 – GCH: To be a brahmin means to be victorious

1 June 2023

The meditation song was totally about today’s murli because in 1994 Baba spoke about the Brahmin becoming the angel, and the angel becoming a deity of the golden age.  It was later on that Baba started to talk about the 5 forms.  But at this point Baba is talking about the 3 forms to experiment with.  Those who understood Hindi must have understood that every single sentence of the song was exactly what Baba has talked about in the murli.  And those who don’t understand Hindi it is absolutely fine because you will be hearing the murli in detail and that is the actual source for the lyrics.  But it is very clever how we hear the murli and it is a new song; I don’t know who created the song but they must have heard the murli in advance.

We talk about many aspects of Brahmin life, but today Baba’s definition of a Brahmin is: a Brahmin means one who has victory; there is no other definition.  And in detail, but in particular Baba is mentioning that a Brahmin is the one who has power from God to conquer Maya.  And so there is victory and because of that there is a total state of stability in which the soul is immoveable and unshakable.  Baba has reminded us that being the Brahmin means wearing the crown of responsibility of giving benefit to all.  And the tilak, (in the Coronation Ceremony that some of you would have witnessed a few weeks ago there is the sacred part of it was what they called was “anointing” and they put up a screen and so it is incognito, it is invisible to the eye), but what Baba has done for us is given us the tilak of awareness, smriti.  And so it is the awareness of ‘who I am’ and ‘who I belong to’ and ‘what it is I must do’.  And in that awareness of “who I truly am”, you are not just checking thoughts, Baba spoke about this a little while earlier, that when you are just checking thoughts by then there is quite a lot of force of feelings and emotions that have come up and they push the thoughts forward.  But no, even before thinking there is something else, and that is consciousness. And so you can cultivate that awareness through the whole day.  And then it is not just at that moment when there is something is coming in front of you that you remind yourself “oh I am a soul”, by then the feelings and emotions have already started and so that torrent of thought has already started.  Then it is not very easy to put a full stop.  But if through the day before the situation arises I make sure I have the right awareness, the right consciousness then when the thought first starts I will have the capacity to be able to change the direction of the thought.  And so the tilak of awareness allows you to become the conqueror of Maya and together with that I also have the crown of responsibility of serving others and giving benefit to all.  And then of course there is the throne, and in sangamyug it is the Heart Throne of God.

I have a question for you that came up yesterday at the Teacher’s Retreat: “who wants sangamyug to last forever?”   [A few people raised their hands] It is interesting there are a few who wants sangamyug to last forever.  We had an entertaining evening last night at the Teacher’s retreat and it was totally spontaneous, we had not prepared anything. It was just open invitation and so we had lots of stories and jokes and poems and songs and in one of the songs the line was: “I want sangamyug to last for ever”!  And I thought to myself when Baba was in sakar then yes I would have said “I want sangamyug to last forever”, but then Baba became avyakt and the Dadis all came into their own flourishing and you could see that these were the ones who are going to lead us further.  Then again sangamyug was very beautiful with all the Dadis being there.  But now the Dadis are all avyakt and all of us are still ‘down here’ and out of the whole class, only few people put up their hands that they want sangamyug to last forever.  But I think most of us feel we want to now quickly join Baba and the Dadis in the subtle dimension; we don’t want to linger on here for much longer.   But of course what sangamyug offers is the opportunity to still be on God’s heart throne and to experience God’s love.  But also more than that at this moment seeing what is going on around in the world we want to experience God’s protection.  And so sit on the heart throne of God and you will be totally safe, nobody will even be able to find you there; they will be looking outside and you will be hidden away in God’s heart throne.  And of course that also means Brahma Baba’s heart throne because Bap and Dada together have the physical heart.  Shiv Baba has the subtle heart of feelings but the “heart throne”, the heart is not here [point at physical heart] it is here [pointing at the forehead] but BapDada are together.  And so to sit on their heart throne and experience that total protection and the Mother and Father giving their blessings at all times.

A big question that has come up from the murli: are you a Brahmin or are you a warrior?  It is interesting that in the English language, a warrior and a worrier sound very close together.  But in particular Baba said, it has never been said that Brahmins become the warriors; it has always been said “Brahmins become the devta”   And so I have to ask myself the question: is there still a battle going on inside in terms of anything? Battles going on inside, means that there will also be challenges outside.  And most times we say that “well, the situation was very little, it wasn’t such a big deal, but how come the reaction was such a big thing”.  You have all been through that and so you know how that works.  Is there anyone who doesn’t have this experience?   It seems the situation was a very little thing but the reaction was in you. Or the reaction in the other was big.  Of course it is because the situation was just the trigger, but it is what I was carrying inside myself that caused the reaction.  Or I didn’t know what the other person was going through and again I thought I was saying something very little, very simple but the reaction from their side was very big, but it is because they were carrying something inside of them.

And so what is it I am carrying inside? I am carrying my sanskars. So when we first come to Baba we don’t even know our sanskars and we react because of our sanskars. But then gradually we begin to uncover the different layers of sanskars.  And of course now we know that it is from many, many births. But Baba teaches us to remove all those layers and clean them out so that you get to the original sanskars of purity and truth.  But for most of us on that journey as the sanskars are still getting uncovered we get shocked with ourselves that “why did I react like that”.  And then you start to understand that there are layer and layer of sanskars that I still have to deal with.  But as you move along there is another battle that starts to come.  Your buddhi and your conscience both together have accepted Baba’s teaching and so I know what is right.  Before we came to Baba we didn’t even know what is right and wrong.  Baba explains that in the sakar murli very clearly, what you think is normal is part of life, now you understand it is not normal, it only started in the copper age.  And so we justify the ego and the greed and the attachment in lokik life and we even justify lust and anger and say: how can you manage without that.  When we come to Baba we know that, that is not the norm. The original state of the soul is very different and you begin to have a glimpse of that and you experience that.  So you understand that it is two very different things, the natural original state of the soul and then the things that keep coming up in my thoughts and feelings and reactions, and you start trying to deal with them.  But that then is the battle that is going on inside, because I know what my original state of being is; we sometimes call that “our core values”.  It is a term that people out there also use, but they don’t really understand what the actual “core values” are.  Then they talk about many other things that are connected with those but not essentially those and so they find it quite difficult because they are not getting down to the aspect of “who am I?”

Within Brahmin life we say that there are two things that seem to be different: what you believe and you know is real, and what are you actually doing; the way you are behaving and that creates the battle inside.  You want to be able to match up both those things and somehow the soul lacks the power to be able to do that.  The understanding is absolutely there, but the power is not there.  And secondly the practice isn’t there.  And so the more you practice the easier it becomes.  Then the more through your practice you are able to bring it to a point where now, it is together, the natural original state of the soul, the original qualities and then the practice.  And I have been perfecting it all the time and so it comes back. And so now yes, my practice and my core values and my original qualities are both matched up together.

And so where am I? Am I in that state of victory that Baba has said: “this is the stage that you enjoy only in Brahmin life”.  In the golden age yes, we have purity and we have all the qualities but we are sliding down very, very slowly.  So between golden age and silver age there is only 2 degrees and so it is a very slow descending in one thousand plus years. So if something takes you to go from here to there in over a thousand years, it is very, very slow; but we are still coming down.  And so in sangamyug you are at the peak.  And so there is the highest stage, the stage of victory for Brahmins and you have maximum strength, maximum purity and maximum qualities. Everything is there.  And so now is the time to experience victory and not to stay still on the battlefield.  And the battlefield is inside.

The other thing that happens if I am not in the experience of the stage of victory then in the last several sakar murlis Baba has been talking about Maya. Baba often talks about Maya; He talks about Maya as much He talks about God.  Baba explains a lot about God and Baba explains a lot about Maya. The other day He said “wonderful Maya”. The sakar murlis have been explaining very clearly how, “Why is it, that Maya comes?  Maya comes because you have made a mistake. And you have made a mistake because you have moved away from God.  You have moved away from God because you are not practicing soul-consciousness.  And so if you are practicing soul consciousness then automatically you will remember Baba.  Baba said in the last few murlis.  And when you are remembering Baba then you have all the treasures from Baba including power and so there is no space for Maya to come.  Maya enters only when there is a lack of that connection with God, lack of power and lack of attainment.  Avyakt Baba speaks a lot about attainments but that sequence is the same:  soul consciousness and God consciousness and through that connection with God I am able to receive everything from God.  When you don’t have that attainment then that means the soul has slipped away into a path that is not quite shrimat and the soul moves away in a different direction and at that moment Maya is waiting.  While you are following shrimat and you are aware that yes maybe there are all sorts of attractions out there but your commitment to shrimat keeps you safe.  But if you move away from shrimat even on a slight level then the soul is hit by Maya.  And then to make up and match up and come back takes a lot of time and energy.

So the point I want to take up now is where there is a lack of attainment. When there is a lack of attainment then even on the Brahmin path the soul is feeling empty.  And because there is that emptiness and you are not practicing soul consciousness to the extent that you need to, you are not experiencing Baba’s presence and the treasures that Baba can give me and so then you are in a different direction and I don’t have those attainments.  In lokik life when people are exploring the whole idea of addiction and yes we are not addicted to alcohol or drugs and people who come to Baba very quickly give those things up within three days.  I have seen people give up smoking and it is not just temporary it is forever. And within weeks people give up drugs, we didn’t know that this was their practice for their habit but later they themselves tell us.  And within a few weeks or maybe a week even, the experience of attainments from God is such that they don’t need that extra stimulant.  And so when you experience attainments from God you can give up those external addictions.

Brahmins carry two things: external addiction to food, chocolate cakes, ice cream or gulab jamun, whatever is their culture.  It is something that Dadi Janki used to comment on that in Madhuban you get twelve different varieties of everything and it is because there is  are different cultures in Bharat. When Gujratis started to come, sakar Baba gave instruction there must be buttermilk with every meal; when south Indian started to come then sakar Baba gave the instruction there should be rice with every meal. And then when the foreigners started to come then the Dadis decided that there has to be bread and jam with every meal – if they don’t like other things then at least they will have salad or  bread and jam.  This is why there is such a variety because Madhuban is catering for everyone. But then sometimes “I want this" and "I want this", so my eyes are becoming bigger than my tummy.  So Brahmins also have to deal with external addiction; it is not that we are finished with that.

But more than that, we are dealing with inner addiction. How long does it take to deal with anger? Does it take 10 years, 20 years or longer?  How long does it take to deal with ego?  Baba has talked about that today. It takes forever until the end.  Along your journey you think you have dealt with it but you don’t know where it is hiding and it may come up by the time you reach square 99 [on snake and ladder board game] you have nearly come to a 100 but the snake on 99, brings you right down again.  Baba has again talked about the consciousness of ‘my’, the attachment.   But the reason why we are still fighting even on a subtle level with all these different aspects, they are also addictions and we are not able to get out of that habit.  But the way to break that cycle of addictive behaviour whether it is anger or ego is to take from Baba all that Baba is offering.  And it is something that has been proved in lokik research on another level but it is in fact when there is emptiness in the soul or the way they call it is “when your vision gets very narrow”. And when your vision expands and you have that bigger awareness of “who you are”, “who you belong to” and “what is the task that Baba has given you” then with that bigger vision, the attainment that you get as a result of that, the addictive behaviour automatically leaves you.  I won’t tell you the lokik stories of what I have understood about lokik addiction but these two things: a bigger picture from a very narrow world and you are able to move forward and addiction leaves you.  You don’t have to fight them.  And so don’t fight anger because anger is bigger than me at that moment but I take more love from Baba, I take more peace from Baba so that I am full.  Then my reaction automatically changes instead of somebody pressing buttons and I get irritated, I can smile because I have Baba’s love, I have Baba’s peace.

It is very interesting Baba is saying “stop fighting”; “don’t be a warrior experience victories”.  But also worrying; but the habit of worrying comes without any reason. It is just a habit kicking in; it is not something that is real, it is just my habit that is making me worry.  Planning is something else I know what my destination is whether it is today or whether it is a year ahead or whether it is the end of sangamyug but I know I am making a plan.  And I am working on it in a very conscious way whether for today or for a week. But if I am worrying about it then the thoughts will keep coming “what if” – “what if”, that is not planning, that is just worry and that is just habit.   And so let me take so much love from Baba that my faith becomes stronger, so that I don't need to worry.  When there is faith and if that faith is absolute then it is okay I know there will be victory, I am working towards victory and I know Baba is going to help me because I have experienced Baba helping me before but I have forgotten. So I have to make myself aware that Baba the Almighty is there to help me.  Avyakt BapDada used a very sweet expression to a person when I was translating for them and Baba said to them: “has Baba ever let you down?”  And the person gave a big beaming smile. But that was Baba reminding them and so can I remind myself that “Baba has never let me down” and so, I have no worries.

Om shanti
