About the Speaker: Rashmi Vallishayee:  has been practicing rajayoga meditation for more than 25 years. She brought her spiritual skillset to her job where she worked as an IT Manager in the software industry for 25 years. Now, she is a homemaker enjoying her time with her family including a teenage daughter. With the wealth of experiences that Rashmi has gained over the years, she is passionate about teaching meditation and other self development classes.

Like many other successful people, his external accomplishments masked a void in his soul and thus true happiness. He has been on a pilgrimage for knowledge and studies Raja Yoga as well as other disciplines to satisfy his unquenchable thirst for the truth. Richard is the proud father of three children and is blessed with three grandchildren.

For the past few days in California, Oregon, and Washington there have been uncontrolled wildfires. Two videos from San Francisco and Anubhuti are attached from our BK family there, who are being impacted by the smoke and soot. No
fire damage.

Also, the USA has had community unrest, hurricanes, and even a Midwest derecho. The country needs our spiritual, peaceful, and calming vibrations.

For tonight and tomorrow, the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we are requesting that all centers share their evening meditation for all the souls who are being, and have been, effected by the upheavals in the country.

Keeping Baba's elevated energy with us, and sharing with our neighbors, is what the time is asking us to be.

Online Rakhi Ceremony by Hollywood Brahma Kumaris

Hollywood Rakhi Meditation “Zoomed” into 60 homes.

Hollywood, Florida (USA): A warm welcome was given by BK Veronica (Miami) to BK Manda (London), who gave a talk/meditation which beautifully set the tone of the Rakshabandhan celebration by Brahma Kumaris in Hollywood.

Assistance from Engineers BK Tej and BK Meeta was invaluable in seamlessly producing this 2-hour zoom meeting where each soul was spotlighted while a blessing was read by BK Etta and BK Roz. The following week, rakhi bracelets and blessings were mailed to the participants who requested them. Jamila and Mindy’s heartfelt songs, as well as singing bowls played by Chamarah, added to the sacredness of the hour.

We are happy to announce that the Centre will gradually reopen its doors on September 9.
Here is some useful information to prepare you for your next visit to L'Émergence. We will be doing everything we can with regard to the public health recommendations to ensure everyone's safety.

To do this, we will need your cooperation. In order to be admitted to L'Émergence, you must NOT:

·        have one of the symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell)

·        have had a positive screening test for COVID-19 within the last month, or be awaiting a test result

·        have been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days

·        have come back from a trip abroad within the last 14 days. If self-quarantine was required or recommended, it must have been scrupulously observed.

Upon your arrival:

·        Wearing a mask at all times is required while in the Centre.

·        Hand washing (with disinfectant gel provided) is required upon arrival.


Contact with a carrier or probable carrier: in the event that you have been in contact with a carrier or probable case of COVID-19, shortly before your arrival at L'Émergence (without your knowing it) or if you have symptoms shortly after your arrival at L'Émergence you must:

·        inform us as quickly as possible.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que le centre rouvrira
graduellement ses portes à partir du mercredi 9 septembre prochain. Plusieurs activités seront de nouveau disponibles sur place SUR INSCRIPTION; la distanciation sociale nous
obligeant à limiter les places.

Voici des informations utiles en vue de votre venue à L'Émergence, afin que votre expérience soit optimale. Nous mettons tout en oeuvre pour assurer la sécurité de tous en respectant les recommandations de la santé publique. Nous avons pour ce faire besoin de votre collaboration.
Afin d’être admis à L'Émergence, vous ne devez pas :
- présenter un des symptômes de la COVID-19 (fièvre, toux, difficultés
respiratoires, diarrhée, perte du goût ou de l’odorat)
- avoir eu un test de dépistage positif à la COVID-19 datant de moins d’un
(1) mois ou être en attente du résultat d’un test
- avoir été en contact avec un cas confirmé ou probable de la COVID-19
depuis moins de 14 jours
- revenir d’un voyage à l’étranger depuis moins de 14 jours. Si une
quarantaine a été exigée ou recommandée, elle doit avoir été
scrupuleusement respectée.

À votre arrivée :
Le port du masque (ou couvre-visgae) est requis pour circuler à L'Émergence et durant les activités.
Le lavage des mains (avec gel désinfectant) est requis dès votre arrivée.
Contact avec une personne porteuse ou probablement porteuse: advenant que vous ayez été en contact avec une personne porteuse ou cas probable de la COVID-19, peu avant votre venue à L'Émergence (sans que vous le sachiez) ou que vous présentiez les symptômes peu après votre
venue à L'Émergence vous devez:

FREE Self Development Series:”Who is Responsible for Destiny?” – Starts Sept 2

Milpitas (USA): Who is responsible for our destiny (physical health, emotional health, relationships, and finances)?

You are invited to a free online self-development series, “Decoding Destiny”. Most of us would agree that we create our own destiny, yet there are times when we feel handicapped that somebody else is controlling or destroying our destiny. A feeling of being a victim arises when we think that the reins of our life are in somebody else’s hand. That somebody else could be a person, circumstance, fortune, universe, planet, or God. The blame game starts, and life feels miserable and unfair.

In this series, we will spend time in understanding the creator of our destiny, reasons for it not being consistently beautiful, the karma philosophy (laws of cause and effect), and ways to code or create a perfect life and destiny for ourselves.

In this course, we will discuss Spiritual Knowledge that helps us in understanding the algorithm behind our fortune or destiny. We will practice Raja Yoga Meditation in every class (brief instructions on this meditation exercise will be shared). We will touch upon concepts related to soul and laws of karma (cause and effect).

Little did I know that I had lost the reins over my life and was living an average or below-average life. It’s not like my life was miserable, overall I was happy and had everything in life. Yet, many times I felt that life was unfair, or I could not fix it on my own. A feeling of helplessness and hopelessness would arise at times. The gems of knowledge disclosed to me at Brahma Kumaris are steadily freeing me from my own cage. My confidence is growing because it is getting enough oxygen of freedom to choose and live the life I want. I feel so powerful that I can create the destiny I desire.

Date and Timing: A series of five classes starts on Sep 2nd (Wed) from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, and the next four classes will be on Sep 9, 16, 23, and 30th at the same time.

“Today I Will …” Series of Online Events Presented by Brahma Kumaris Tampa

Tampa, Florida ( USA ): Brahma Kumaris Tampa presented the “Today I Will…” series that explores and expands on daily small steps to dive deeper into a spiritual practice.

A variety of experienced yogis took participants on a step-by-step journey that guided them into a happier and more purposeful life by focusing on manageable actions that can bring about change in yourself and the world.

The series was held every night from Monday to Thursday via Zoom.

 

 

Brahma Kumaris Introduce Rajayoga Meditation to Employees at BCC Engineering

Miami, Florida (USA): The BK Miami Meditation center was requested to facilitate a lunchtime session introducing Meditation to a group of employees at BCC Engineering. Their team manager Joanne Prince, who had attended a BK meditation session at her earlier office, organized this session and requested sessions in both Spanish and English which were co-facilitated by BK Marjorie and BK Tej, respectively.

Some participants wanted to know how meditation could improve their work efficiency and a few minutes of guided meditations gave them a practical introduction. One employee expressed how her 7-year-old child also attended the session with her and she was pleasantly surprised to see him sit through the guided meditations quietly with happiness
