Florida Engineering Society Wellbeing Series - "Stress Less, Relax More"
Jan 12: Part of the "Wellbeing Sessions" hosted by The Florida Engineering Society (FES) Miami Chapter, a session on "Stress Less, Relax More" was held where Tejsingh Rana was in conversation with guest speaker BK Craig Gordon (Dancer, BK Meditator and Yoga Teacher). Craig shared many practical aspects about stress & work along with some practical tools for experiencing silence and for traffic control (of the mind). The session concluded with a guided meditation and was attended virtually by 65+ engineers.

India 75 Independence (Azadi ke Amrit Mahotsav) Program in Canada

At the time of Rakshabhandhan, the Consul General of Vancouver, Mr. Manish, requested Sister Claudia from Vancouver to have a program for India 75 Independence done every month until November 2022.
A program has been prepared by the Canadian Centers under the supervision of National Coordinator Brother Eric bringing together different pictures of India, some clips of different values spoken by our seniors, and meditation.
Today February 04, 2022, the Consulate of India started the first program of the series which will be presented every month. Here is the link for you to watch:

Florida Engineering Society Wellbeing Series Features BK Br Craig Gordon – “Stress Less, Relax More”

Miami, Florida (USA): Part of the “Wellbeing Sessions” hosted by The Florida Engineering Society (FES) Miami chapter, a session on “Stress Less, Relax More” was held where Tejsingh Rana was in conversation with guest speaker BK Craig Gordon (Dancer, BK Meditator and Yoga Teacher).
BK Craig shared many practical aspects about stress and work, along with some practical tools for experiencing silence and for traffic control (of the mind). The session concluded with a guided meditation and was attended virtually by 65+ engineers.
The Florida Engineering Society (FES) Miami is organizing these special 30-minute sessions aimed towards supporting the well-being of all engineers along with the professional interest. These sessions are virtual and offered complimentary as a benefit to its members and engineering community at large.

Sister Dorothy has been involved in many different career and spiritual venues. She started in the field of education, then became an account executive in radio, and continued as a business entrepreneur. For many years, she practiced various meditations and 36 years ago, Dorothy’s journey landed her in the lap of God. She teaches Raja Yoga Meditation with the Brahma Kumaris and is also the Director of Programs at Peace Village Learning & Retreat Center in upstate New York.
