Here are details for the SECOND of three ONLINE events from The Nehru Centre (Cultural Wing of the Indian High Commission) in London will be on Friday 29th July at 6.30pm.
Anita Rani, presenter of BBC's One's Countryfile programme, will be the special guest speaker for this event, along with Amish Tripathi and Sister Jayanti.
This series of events marks the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence and the 50th anniversary of the Brahma Kumaris in the UK. Details are on the flyer above.

In this course we will explore our emotions, reactions, personality, thoughts, attitudes and dreams which are all influenced by the mind, and seek to know more about this invaluable subject.
This course is based on the teachings of Raja Yoga meditation philosophy as taught by Brahma Kumaris (UK). Raja Yoga is a deep and practical study for dealing with life’s challenges positively through an understanding of the spiritual laws that govern us all. There will be live sketch presentations, guided meditation practices as well as an opportunity for discussion and questions. All welcome. Free of charge. Dr Partap Midha, Medical Director of J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre (GHRC), Mt Abu, Rajasthan, India will be in conversation with Sarah Eagger, Chair of The Janki Foundation. They will explore the challenges Dr Midha and his colleagues faced during the Covid crisis and how his spiritual practices benefited him, and those around him, in finding the strength to pass through turbulent times.

Marcelo Bulk Gimenez is a coach, consultant and an author in human development, leadership, teamwork and communication. He has been associated with the Brahma Kumaris for 38 years and is the National Co-ordinator of Brahma Kumaris activities in Colombia. Marcelo has worked as a business consultant and facilitator with several major companies in Colombia, Mexico, India and Spain. He lectures internationally on topics related to self-leadership, human values and meditation and is the author of The Pathway Towards Leadership published in Spanish and Portuguese.

REPORT: Vision of the Future: Hope, Healing & Happiness In honour of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II
Inner Space Wembley, UK - Wednesday 22 June 2022
A special event at Wembley Inner Space Honouring Queen's Platinum Jubilee on Wednesday 22nd June. Over 50 people joined in person and some 200 online.
Councillor Ketan Sheth of Wembley Central Ward & Chair - Community & Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee welcomed everyone warmly and spoke of how, despite the cost of living crisis we all came together to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It was, he said, ‘our collective showcasing of our hope, healing and happiness.’ Speaking of the Queen as ‘the thread that runs through our collective story’, he appreciated how ‘during our reign every aspect of our lives have changed but she has notc hanged.’ Hethen read Philip Larkin’s poem, ‘Coming’, which talks of ‘adult reconciling’ and has the powerful, repeated line: ‘It will be spring soon.’
Three talented young musicians, Rikhil Raithatha, Tejal Pankhania and Shivani Unadkat then played a beautiful piece with flute, sitar and tabla.
