The environmental crisis is real and quite alarming. And the effects of climate change have started to affect us in a direct way irrespective of our location on the world map. Be it the increase of wildfires to almost double between 1984 and 2015 in the US, be it the 'very poor air quality in the Delhi and NCR regions in India, or be it the increasing rates of yellow fever deaths in Africa, we are looking at an imminent disaster.

Since this is a threat to our existence as a race, it is time for us to do something about it on an individual level, rather than putting the responsibility on governments and policies and simply hoping that things will get better. Read an interesting account on how Bro. Golo Pilz - The adviser to Renewable Energy, Brahma Kumaris - is looking at the environmental issue from the individual perspective and suggesting simple sustainable solutions.

Peace Of Mind 2023 News Report - Silver Jubilee

After an absence of four years due to Covid, the 25th Peace of Mind Mount Abu meditation experience was held again this year in Gyan Sarovar, Madhuban.

275 participants including 187 guests from 48 countries and BK companions attended this year's program. They were supported by teams in Ahmedabad, Gyan Sarovar, Pandav Bhavan, Shantivan, Sydney and London.

On a special note, it was an auspicious time in that Didi Nirmala made her final service program before entering hospital. Didi welcomed guests at the opening event and stayed for the shawl giving, toli and blessings. She spoke clearly and very powerfully about the need for discipline and effort to get the most from meditation.

 Sister Shivani shared her wisdom about the soul, the home, God and karma

 Sister Sheilu connected the soul with karma

 Sister Jayanti presented the world drama and how it all fits together

 Brother Charlie explained the great powers of the soul

 Didi Mohini conducted a meditation master class.

The guests enjoyed the Art from the Heart cultural performance.

During the program guests visited Pandav Bhavan and Global Hospital. They had a focussed morning visit to Shantivan which included a tour of India One Solar Power Plant, the kitchen complexes, Diamond Hall and stayed for lunch.

They enjoyed sunset meditation at Baba’s Rock which is always a unique experience.

The success of Peace of Mind over 25 years is a direct result of cooperation from the BK family in all four corners of the world.

Peace of Mind was created as a program especially for double foreigner guests, to enable them to experience the wonder of Baba’s knowledge in the ‘seven day course’ format. The program is held over seven days in the atmosphere of Madhuban.

Over the years many of the guests have become Baba’s children and are now bringing guests to Peace of Mind.

Service of humanity is considered an elevated act which was always the privilege of great reformers, seers and dedicated social workers. Common people like you and me doing social work is thought of as something which we cannot fit into our daily routine.

This is where Rajyoga shows us a different path. Rajyoga says, if I, the individual become stable, then I naturally become a change agent who will effortlessly inspire others towards positive change.
