Relationships in the Golden Age
Question:
It is a question regarding relationships in the Golden Age. With our current awareness of family relationships such as uncles, aunts, sisters, and brothers, I would like to know if these relationships will still exist in the Golden Age. What is our awareness in the Golden Age? Will we have aunts and uncles in the Golden Age or will it be the family unit of four members?
Sudesh Didi:
Yes, of course, there will be the awareness of relationship. In the beginning of Golden Age, relationships were present but limited. Initially, there were only one son and one daughter, but as time passed, more relationships developed. However, these relationships did not create dependency on each other as we were more focused on soul consciousness rather than body consciousness. As a result, we did not need any extra help from each other. The relationships were harmonious and natural, without any dependencies. Even now in the Confluence Age, the remembrance of relationships is only necessary when there is a need. But in the Golden Age, there was no need for dependence, which led to a free kingdom where everything was achieved naturally. As we become more body conscious, we start to forget the power of soul consciousness and become more dependent on others. In the Golden Age, we were more focused on the power of their souls, which led to harmonious relationship and a natural way of life.
Pure sense of “mine” in the Golden Age
Question:
There must be a pure sense of “mine” as “my” family even in the Golden Age. So what's that sense? We say now the sense of mine is not right. What's the pure sense of “mine”?
Sudesh Didi:
In the Golden Age, there will definitely be the feeling of “my brother”, but this sense of ownership was not possessive in nature, so, they will be pure relationships. As time moves forward, relationships become more complex, it expands to two brothers, three children, the word “my” will be used just like when I say “my” hand, the “my” is neutral, that is, the “my” does not carry possessiveness or attachment stemming from karmic accounts. So “my” is pure, because it is free from any mixture of attachment. In the Golden Age, the “my” is characterised by a clean and pure relationship. Of course, there is a sense of “my family” and “my body”. So, the sense of “my” is there but it is with the sanskars of purity and natural harmony. It is a harmonious “my”.
In addition to that, I was reflecting on the concept of “my” on things like my cupboard or my rubbish bin. While I may not normally feel any emotional attachment towards objects such as my cupboard or my rubbish bin, if someone were to take them away or fill them with their own belongings without my consent, I would feel the emotion. So, it is when there is a loss of what is "mine," that I would feel the attachment.
Sudesh Didi:
This explanation is very good. Dependency becomes evident in situations where we experience loss, cause sorrow to others, or achieve something.
Baba says that even if you achieve your goal, for example, the second king, of being the son of Shri Narayan, it does not mean you have achieved that kingdom from Narayan, because it depends on the efforts of the present time that you will that kingdom.
I have churned on the question of what brings us together when there is no account. It is the same sanskars that brings us together, much like birds of the same flock fly together. We are independent beings, each one is free, yet we are together. So, each one is free and each one of us has the divine sanskars. As a result, we are neither attracted, influenced, or attached to each other, but this togetherness just comes naturally. At this time, where there is a fear of loss, such as losing something that we consider "mine," our dependency on those things becomes apparent.
Female connotation of Maya
Question:
Why does Baba call Maya “she”?
Sudesh Didi:
So, the word Maya, even it is neutral. But still, Maya is our creation. Like I say “my”, Baba chooses to refer to Maya as "she" as a form of expression; when something is female, it is not so obvious. The feminine energy of Maya is more subtle and can remain incognito for a long time, while the masculine energy of Ravan is more forceful and harmful. but it is very subtle, it remains incognito for some time. This is one aspect. Also, the word Maya has been for generations as a female name, and Ravan is a male name. The use of the feminine pronoun for Maya is reflective of the more subtle nature of this energy, as compared to the forceful nature of anger, which is more visible.
For example, jealousy is inside, the hatred is growing inside, but anger is outside and forceful. So, the use of a female pronoun is a way to convey the subtlety of Maya's energy. So, the name of a female is used, this is how I understand.
Maya possesses subtle power, which is reflected in the attribute of her name. Across different languages, the gender assigned to certain words can convey different qualities or percentages of power, such as the male gender assigned to the rising sun in India, or the female gender assigned to the sun in German language. My understanding of Maya and Ravan is that Maya can remain hidden or incognito for some time, causing doubt or convincing individuals in a Godly way or in a negative way. “I am not causing harm to anyone but inside I am really jealous.” Laziness is when I am not causing harm to anybody else. I need this so I convince myself.
Occult Power vs Divine Power
Question:
What is occult power?
Sudesh Didi:
It is just like the power of rich people in the world, it is an extraordinary power that can be impressive when demonstrated, such as walking on fire or water. So, this was called occult power. However, occult power can also have negative connotations when used to influence others through magic spells saying that's why you are sick and you have to do this and that. Baba explains that this type of power is different from divine power and is often used to impress others. Occult power influences and impresses others. It can cause harm and conflict in the name of benefiting oneself, as negative impressions can be planted on an individual, saying you are sick, even if the doctors say nothing is wrong, but everything is getting worse. This occult power can be powerful, but ultimately has negative consequences.
Masculine and Feminine
Question:
It appears that in the realm of governance, there is often a duality present. The writer Christian Jacq, who focuses on Egyptian history from the time of the Golden Age, explores this duality. Specifically, he depicts a master figure similar to Ravan, who is often accompanied by a personal assistant, who is always a female. There is always the blending, the mixture, of both masculine and feminine aspects in the exercise of power.
Sudesh Didi:
Three things are eternal, body, soul, and God; God is beyond. The body and soul are often referred to as the male and female parts, The body is made up of matter, which is neutral but dependent on me, the soul, the master. The soul is the master that controls the body. Together, they work in harmony, and although they may appear as two separate entities, they are ultimately one. The body and soul, are two. But it is one, as the souls says, “My body is my life partner.” And my body says, “The soul is like life partner.” I have a male authority when I am a soul, I control the body. But when I am weak my body is controlling me.
Females tend to have a natural tendency towards dedication and loyalty compared to males. The body and soul are also connected in a unique way, as the body never leaves the soul, but the soul leaves the body. In this sense, the soul is the ultimate master, controlling the body.
The relationship between the body and soul is often compared to that of Adam and Eve. The soul is like Adam, and the body is like Eve. The body is created by the actions of the soul, making it a creation of the soul, and yet it is also the soul's companion and life partner.
Om shanti.

Sister Jayanti – 24th April 2023 – GCH Waste thoughts eliminate the truth…
24 April 2023
The meditation song was “You are the Ocean of love” and today Baba’s murli is sharing a huge amount of love for all of us. Baba has said lovely things about love: how love transforms and how love helps you fly. Baba has said many things but the most important thing is the question that many of us have and that is: “what return can I give to Baba for all the love that Baba is giving me?” I think everybody has that thought: “Baba, You are giving so much love, what return can I give? And Baba’s answer is very lovely: “the ‘return’ is to be able to ‘turn’ yourself around; to experience transformation”. Baba plays with all the Hindi words, but today it is a play of “return” and “turn”. Baba makes it sound very easy and it is not just sounding easy, but it is actually easy, if I keep my consciousness on the level that Baba wants me to have it. But what happens is that we don’t give enough attention to the quality of our thoughts and so we then come down and then we get involved in the struggle and the battle and we say: oh, but it is so difficult! And all Baba wants us to do is to keep that highest level of consciousness. Baba has also given many different aspects about that. But one thing that comes out very clearly is that Baba, being the Director of this whole drama, the whole cycle, not the Creator of the drama, we create our drama through our own karma, but Baba is very definitely the Director. And so Baba is saying, how come, now that it is the end of the season, at that time it was the middle of April 1994 and it was the end of the season [for meetings with Baba]. Now with Global warming that has changed and so now the end of the season happens at the end of March because by middle of April it is really very hot in India, especially in Rajasthan. Even now the temperatures were in the 40’s. But at that time it was the end of the season and we felt that October is so far away and so our consciousness changes and our perspectives now are very different. But at that point Baba was saying that it is not the end of the season; when something reaches the end there is always another beginning, and so it is the beginning of the new chapter or a new level of effort for you. And so what is that new level of effort? And so Baba is not accepting ‘the end’, but He is focusing our attention on the beginning.
And when you think about the cycle there is no end, there is always the next step, the beginning.
Baba is always aware of the whole cycle. So Baba is reminding us of the “first” beginning, not just the beginning of new effort with a flying stage, but the beginning of the cycle in which, in the original stage, “what is your experience?” Your experience of the beginning stage is that of the soul. And so if you just simply maintain that awareness of soul-consciousness, then what will happen is that you will fly. There is nothing faster than the speed of the soul. Baba gave a lot of examples of science; the speed of science with which the science is moving forward but yet science hasn’t been able to capture the speed of the soul itself and probably never will.
So when you remember the speed of the soul and you remember the speed of thoughts then you begin to fly. And when you are flying whatever are the things down below, they don’t interfere with anything. You are even able to go above all the clouds. So obstacles come but they are the clouds on the journey. And so go above those clouds and keep that awareness of soul-consciousness and you can fly.
Connected very much with that is where Baba is asking us to renounce waste thoughts to the extent that we become ignorant of what is waste. In the golden age there is the whole kingdom and within that kingdom there are many different things happening but there are no waste thoughts. The right thought comes at the right moment and is instantly put into practice. One of the signs of fast effort is the thought comes: “I have to do this” and I do it. It is not that I say: “I have to eliminate waste thoughts and it is going to take me a day, a week, a month or a year”! But no, if I have seen something that I need to do, in terms of my effort then let me do it now. That is the proof of the flying stage.
But what is it that interferes in all of this? The interference is the force of waste thoughts. It is a very practical example that Baba is mentioning. Think about how when for some reason I get angry and it comes with such force that at that moment a thought comes and I speak about it and I put it through into an action and there is no time-lag there, because it is so powerful; it is so forceful. And at that moment there is the force of waste thoughts. And anger is a good example because it is so visible and you can feel it. I may not always acknowledge my attachments until much further down the line or even greed when it comes in its subtle form, but anger even when it comes in a subtle form, you can feel the difference in your physical body and in your mental state and emotional state. So when a waste thought comes, it is so powerful that it doesn’t allow you to stay on the path of truth; it eliminates the truth and the pure thought that you might be having.
So Baba is saying “is it possible for you to allow a pure thought to come which is so powerful? Because when you have a pure thought you can have the Companionship of the Almighty. And if I have the Companionship of the Almighty then surely that power is with me. And Baba can only help me if it is only a pure determined thought. If it is a weak thought like “I might try” or “maybe” then Baba is not around; Baba lets you get on with it. But if it is a powerful thought, determined thought and a pure thought then you have Baba’s Company to support you and help you. And so when you just invoke that awareness of the determination then Baba’s support will be there and whatever was the influence of the waste thought will get eliminated very quickly. Then there is no margin to allow it to grow and develop and then it comes into words. If it is racing around in your mind and so many thoughts are coming then it is going to land up in words and in action in some form or another. So what I need to do is to make sure that I recognise the value and the power of pure thoughts.
Baba is asking the question: do you know what is the power of pure thought? And it is very interesting because when we talk about yoga and we talk about how the power of yoga creates transformation within us, but what is yoga? Yoga is the power of pure thoughts. It is about the self, about God etc. And so Baba is saying that we should experiment with this idea and see how when we have a pure, powerful thought it brings about transformation within the self and it even brings about transformation in the attitude of another. And so experiment with it and see if it works. If it is really a pure and powerful and determined thought then it has to work. It is the power of yoga. It even brings about transformation in circumstances and in situations. We talk about yoga power in settling karmic accounts; well, it is a power of pure thoughts. And so it is very interesting how Baba is making it very simple: be in the awareness of the soul and remember that you have done this many, many times. A few times in the murli Baba is reminding us of the cycle and repetition of the drama; Baba is not actually using those words, but Baba, the Director of the drama is totally aware. And for us, on the one side we start the day with yoga and gyan and then on the other side we get caught up in all the mundane activities and those powerful pure thoughts of the early morning dissipate. So I have to come back to keep that consciousness in that awareness that “this is the drama”, but very specifically “it is the end of the drama and so it is the new beginning”. And if I keep my vision focussed on the beginning then I am going to prepare for that. Baba said when it is the beginning and that has started and it is already happening then your vision doesn’t go further, but when you start, the drama is going on and you are in the middle then you are stuck there. But no, now at the end, your vision is focused on the new beginning. And so I am preparing for that.
In that new beginning there is nothing wasteful; everything is powerful and pure and positive and divine. Baba has used the word ‘alokik’; there is nothing of the lokik, nothing of the ordinary or nothing of the mundane but everything is elevated and pure. And in that alokik state there is divinity. In that state which is beyond whatever is here in this world, there is that divinity. And so keep your thoughts on that level of divinity and being alokik.
It is a very beautiful murli on giving Baba the return of love by our own turning around, by our own transformation but also Baba’s total recognition of the drama. And for us getting to know the self is a long journey, yes Baba says, in a second you know that you are a soul! But “what is going on in the soul”? It doesn’t happen in a second! To know my original sanskars, to know the sanskars that I am dealing with at the moment, we don’t always recognise those sanskars and so it is a journey. To know God, Baba says the same thing: “only a few out of a handful, out of a multi millions truly know me as I am”. And connected very much with the drama, today I was thinking about how we don't always appreciate our relationship with the One who is Almighty Authority. We use the word “Baba” and the word “Baba” is very sweet and makes Baba come close to us. So that it is a very near and dear relationship. But also to put it in the context of exactly who Baba is and to know that Baba is the Almighty and Baba is the Creator of the New World and Baba is asking me to be an instrument with Him as part of the construction of the New World, now, how deeply do I appreciate this and hold that consciousness in my awareness? Not just in the early morning but through the day because the whole day is going to determine, what my stage is. The morning is a boost but then through the whole day, what is it that is going on. If my thoughts are ordinary, my life is going to be ordinary. If my thoughts are extraordinary, alokik, different to the mundane, if they are elevated then those thoughts are going to ensure that my words and my actions are also of that quality. So I am creating and allowing the new sanskars, the original sanskars of the beginning that are there within the soul to emerge once again.
It is a very long four page murli; Baba is not talking to any groups but it feels like Baba is giving a whole summary of the season. Baba has also mentioned many different aspects within all of that to help us in this process of transformation and to come back to that original pure state, the satopradhan state that the soul wants to have. But then lots of excuses come in the way. Baba said: you listen to the sweet stories of Maya and Maya comes very sweetly; you don’t even recognise it and you start listening to her sweet stories. And then when it comes to facing Baba, you repeat those sweet stories to Baba that Maya has told you. And Baba has to just smile and say: what is going on with my child? Here I am allowing my child to forget the past and move beyond and here is the child repeating the stories of Maya to me. The day before yesterday in the sakar murli Baba said: Baba doesn’t get affected by anything of the drama because Baba knows that the drama is accurate but also benevolent. We see the drama and we forget the benevolence of the drama; we forget the accuracy of the drama and so we go through all our ups and downs. Just as it takes time to recognise the self and it is still taking us, time to recognise Baba, but really the subject of drama is as powerful as God. To the extent that I recognise God and the extent that I recognise drama to that extent I am able to move forward.
It is different than telling myself “oh, the drama is benevolent” and my feelings are forcing me into very different emotions. But if I truly understand the drama and accept the drama then with that I will be able to have the ability to put a full stop. And then I will be able to put a full stop to waste thoughts that drain me of energy and time and create a whole state of upheaval for me but also for everybody around me and so the atmosphere gets impacted by all of that. And so to have a deeper appreciation of drama and Madhuban is a great place to learn about the secrets of drama. When it is a surrendered community of fifteen hundred people upstairs and downstairs and everywhere…in any centre you are with tens or a few hundred but you are not with thousands all the time. And in Madhuban anything involves thousands. You want to do something you have to check it with all the different departments and it just makes you aware of how everything is moving together and more or less seamlessly and certainly to any outsider who comes, it looks seamless and then you begin to get involved and you begin to see how so many wheels are connected one with the other; it is very beautiful. So it was very lovely being in Madhuban and seeing Madhuban from a different perspective; each time you take something different from Madhuban. I was in Madhuban for a stretch of time and especially after the teacher’s meeting. It was quite a big stretch but I was in Madhuban. You appreciate how truly it is only God who is making everything work so beautifully.

Sudesh Didi – Unlimited Relationship, Unlimited Contentment- 16th April 2023 Sunday Morning Class - GCH, London
22 April 2023
Om shanti. Om shanti. Om shanti. Good morning. Golden morning. Golden morning to the jewels of contentment.
Today, this is the gathering of the jewels of contentment. How Baba sees us as jewels of contentment, and the song is played. Baba, we are truly content. Wah, Baba, Wah. Baba, the Ocean, has come and all my thirst is quenched, searches finished. Whatever you have given is limitless. Is there any more desire? Are we truly contented souls?
So, what is contentment? The word itself explains that whatever I have achieved or received as a gift, as my fortune, as my reward, whatever actions I have performed over time, what does contentment contain? When we realise the importance of what we have achieved, there is contentment. When we do not realise the value of what we have and do not recognise it, there is discontentment. Even though the achievement is present, can we truly realise its value?
There are certain things for which we do not make conscious efforts, and we receive rewards. Even in a lokik way, in a worldly sense, what is the first thing that we receive as soon as a child is born? Does the child make an effort to receive their parents? Does the child make efforts to have brothers and sisters? No, that is the beauty of relationships. Without making any conscious effort, the first achievement is relationship.
Now, some souls may say, "But I did make efforts to meet God." Then, with an honest and detached mind, did we truly search for God? Honestly, was it a true search? Even on the path of devotion, when we longed to meet God, was it merely to fulfil worldly desires such as health, wealth, relationships, or success in the job, or passing with good marks in school? It was not that searching for God, but rather a search of what we could receive from God.
Once, Avyakt BapDada asked, "Were you truly searching for God, or was I the one searching for you?" The child replied, "Baba, I have been searching." Baba said, "Did you have the introduction? Did you know whom you were searching for?" In reality, we did not even know what we were looking for. Some people say, "But I was a devoted worshipper of Shiva. I worshipped Him." But, were we worshipping Shiva or were we thinking we were worshipping Shiva, but we were focusing and worshipping on Shankar? Did we search for the truth? Because the real value, the reality was not there. The truth, true knowledge, was missing. The understanding of what we have already achieved were unclear. We were content with small wishes fulfilled and temporary achievements, never considering the unlimited.
The Supreme Soul, God, our unlimited Father, fulfils our deep inner longing and unlimited desires, which we cannot receive from human beings, but only from God. Whether it is knowledge, true love, happiness, purity, or peace, these are not worldly things that we can get from this physical world. These are the needs of the soul, And the soul seeks metaphysical rather than physical. But, by coming into body consciousness in bodily relations, we have automatically limited ourselves and did not realise the value of the unlimited.
So now when Baba comes and gives us the unlimited, but do we truly recognise the value of what Baba is giving us? Or am I still measuring it with limited vision, limited understanding, and limited achievements?
I remember sharing this story with you before, not just once. It was the birthday of a little child. Many people gave many, many gifts to this child. The child was delighted with toys to play with or treats to eat. And then his father gave the child an envelope, which was also wrapped in a packet. The child opened it with great curiosity. And when he opened it, he was very upset by what he found inside - a piece of paper. He said to his father, "Father, on my birthday, you've given me a piece of paper!" But little did he know that the piece of paper was actually a cheque for 5000 pounds. He did not understand what a cheque was or what it represented. He did not realise that with this cheque, he could buy many toys, boxes of chocolates, and gifts he wanted to distribute to his friends. Similarly, what Baba is giving us is beyond our immediate understanding, but it is truly unlimited.
In a worldly sense, our relationships are often limited and come with many expectations on both sides. But all relations cannot be with just one person. We need multiple relationships for various roles in our lives, such as mother, father, friend, teacher, guru, etc. But, Baba, as the Supreme Soul and the Bodiless Being, offers to give us, the souls, the experience of unlimited relationships and fulfil our deepest wishes in every relationship. Discontentment arises when we do not recognise the true nature of God's love. Instead, we measure it based on worldly standards, such as emotional love or temporary fulfilment to please ourselves, or to receive some kind of temporary support. Our measurement is often influenced by what we have learned in this physical world. This is where knowledge enables us to realise that what Baba is offering is not an ordinary thing. It goes beyond our limited understanding.
So, the realisation that my Brahmin life is a Godly gift, is actually my fortune. But then, do I have a relationship with the mother? What is this recognition? Because Brahmin birth is only possible through Brahma, not without Brahma. Of course, my focus is on Shiv Baba. If I do not recognise that my new consciousness, new development, and new birth are a result of Baba's knowledge giving me Brahmin birth through Brahma, then I may not fully understand the significance of being a Brahmin. We are all children of the Supreme Being, the Supreme Soul, whether we know it or not. We may say we believe it, but do I truly believe it and have the intoxication of this new alokik birth, or do I consider it to be just an ordinary birth?
We did not have to make conscious effort, just as when a child is born, it happens without their effort. Of course, there may be karmic connections behind it, but the child does not consciously make an effort. Similarly, on the path of devotion, even though we made effort, we may not have fully realised what we were looking. Baba, as the Mother, Father, Friend, Teacher, Satguru, in every Murli, helps us realise the value of this relationship. Do I truly value it with the same vision that Baba is showing me? Am I experiencing it? The more I believe and see with that vision, the alokik relationship with Baba teaches us how to have pure lokik relationships: deep love, yet detachment. But because of our worldly way of seeing things, contentment and pure love get mixed up with attachment.
Love is a quality that brings contentment in relationships, whereas attachment often creates fear, tension, and expectations. It is important to recognise the difference between love and attachment. We did not realise that what creates discontentment is our desires and expectations that are attached to limited human beings, which cannot be fulfilled. Now, we can experience true and pure love for other souls, as Baba's love is always like that of a mother. Just as a mother wishes to see her child beautiful, clean, healthy, and happy, Baba too wants the best for us. Baba gives us the experience of how He makes us healthy, wealthy, and happy, just like a loving mother.
So, prosperity is relationship with the Mother and relationship with Father. Do I experience Shiv Baba as my Mother and Father, and do I experience Brahma as my mother and father? You see, the experience of forging relationships is taught by Brahma Baba. Brahma Baba is a male, male physical body. But even in the Murli two days ago (14/04/2023), Brahma Baba said, “I am also His patnee (wife).” So, this statement highlights the realisation of this spiritual aspect of the relationship, even when we are in the physical world, in the physical body, our relationship is not with the body, our relationship is based on the soul's account with another soul. If the relationship were solely based on the body, then logically, one would keep the body even after the person has left the body, as it would be considered as our property. no one keeps the dead body for more than a day. It is either cremated or buried, and usually, the funeral takes place as soon as possible. This indicates that the relationship is not with the body, but with the soul.
So, knowledge is the most important aspect of contentment. We are missing the depth of knowledge and consciousness of the soul, as well as the understanding of the limitations of human beings; what we can achieve and what we cannot achieve from human beings. It is like trying to find diamonds in a vegetable shop. How can I get diamonds from a vegetable shop? Of course, we may find beautiful vegetables, but not diamonds. Human beings have limited intellect and capacity. Contentment is based on whether I focus on their weakness or their best. If we constantly seek what they lack or what they are missing, we will be dissatisfied and discontented. It is our consciousness and vision that creates discontentment.
In the same situation, if we apply spirituality, we will have a totally different vision. Our expectations change, our attitude changes, and we are able to change our feelings, because we no longer see others as doing wrong, we feel that they are discontent with this, because they have unfulfilled expectations or unresolved inner conflicts. We are able to discern if they are in the right consciousness or there is some kind of dissatisfaction within the self. Our vision becomes that of a holy swan.
What is discontentment? Discontentment is the feeling of focusing on one's weaknesses. If we take something, look at its weakness, then we are discontent. But, if we see specialities, give small cooperation, we can experience happiness. You can see it in a worldly sense. For example, a small child bringing a kitchen towel to their mother while she is cleaning can bring joy to the mother. This is because she did not expect that. The child is cooperating beyond their capacity, and the mother is happy and appreciates the effort, “Oh my child brought me a kitchen towel.”
So, it is the appreciation of seeing others with their unique capacity. If someone is doing something but lacks cooperation, there is discontentment because of unmet expectations. The reason is that we have not accepted their capacity, or in other words, their nature, which may be what limit their abilities.
And people begin to speak wrong things about each other. Now, they are discontent, but why am I also discontent with them? I may feel discontented when I hear others talking negatively about me, thinking they are referring to something I did wrong, even though I did my best. Now they are discontent, and hearing about their discontentment with me makes me disturbed. Now I am discontent with them. What was my expectations? My expectations was that they should appreciate what I was doing and see me as a holy swan, but they are trying to become a holy swan themselves. They are trying to become pick up or bring satisfaction with whatever cooperation I can offer.
Another aspect is that I am not detached as a detached observer, and see that it is this situation or circumstance which has made this person speak about this. It is important to understand that they are not always speaking wrong things of me, but rather expressing the expectations of something different. But this was a scene, and Baba says today that we should watch such situations as a detached observer and seeing them as circumstances, paristhiti in Hindi. It is a stage created for themselves or for you. It is like watching a cartoon show or a puppet show. You stay on your stage and be stable and strong, then you will either laugh at it, forget about it or have mercy for the soul.
So, what you contain inside as a detached observer, is this power to be detached, even temporarily, then you will not take in the discontent or dissatisfaction that others may express. If they have dissatisfaction and you are also having expectations that they should remain satisfied, both will label each other. Their vision at that time may be clouded due to various reason; they are tired and they want something from you, but they do not recognise it that at a time when you may not be able to help them; you then answer the wrong things. We then find ourselves saying, "Every time you say this," and labelling them for each mistake they make.
So, what is my vision? Every time or only sometimes? So, what creates discontentment? My expectations are my vision. So, I need to be a detached observer by keeping Baba with me. So, relationship with myself is more than a loving relationship with me. What is the meaning of relationship with me? It does not mean just this body. Of course, we have to look after the body. I am the trustee of this body or the owner of this body. So, it is my responsibility to take care of it. But as much my relationship is with myself, that strong relationship is created with others and with Baba. What creates a relationship, and what constitutes to a good relationship? It is always the qualities, whether it is knowledge, pure vision, peace, maturity, forgiveness, or acceptance. All these qualities create contentment. As a soul with my original qualities, am I truly content in maintaining relationships with them?
What is the meaning of relationship? Relationship means the qualities are working together. So, am I in my soul conscious stage, using the qualities that I have as a soul, or am I using my qualities in the body consciousness, separating myself from my own stage? In this way, I begin to allow myself to be influenced by the weaknesses of others. So, the important aspect of contentment lies in finding satisfaction in the wealth of knowledge.
Another where we are discontent is in relation to our job, financial situation or with time: My job is not good, the pay is not good, the hours are not good. So, it is something connected with wealth and with time. And Baba has given us the wealth of knowledge, the wealth of virtues, and the wealth of powers. Do I truly realise that I am the richest in the world receiving precious jewels from Baba every day? He is offering me a garland of diamonds, but do I recognise their true worth or have I mistaken they are only the artificial diamonds.
Even if a person is financially poor but rich in virtues and inner power, they can handle challenges with patience, maturity, and understanding of the circumstances. This is because the treasure lies in the imperishable soul. So, if I want to make myself truly contented, I need to increase the wealth of virtues, knowledge, and powers within oneself.
Then the deep the relationship with Baba, and beginning to use Baba’s powers, I can gradually develop my own maturity and power of silence. This allows me to handle challenging situations; even when the things are wrong, I am able to make it right, because I keep myself safe from the negative influences with Baba’s Company.
So, as a detached observer, I can see the same situation, as entertaining, rather than disturbing, I am able to be detached from others’ actions, reactions, and thinking through cultivating the wealth of virtues.
And third thing Baba is speaking about the health. Relationship, prosperity, and health, is sambandh, sampati and seyhat. These are the three words Baba has used. So, health is also dependent on the how much my relationship with my mind is with Baba and the virtues I use every day. By creating a very strong relationship with knowledge and with the virtues, my relationship with Baba become stronger. When the mind is powerful, then even when the body is sick, it enables us to handle it with greater maturity and understanding, without taking the pain and sorrow at that time. But we often have the habit of taking pain, immediately putting in the box of sorrow, and then we begin to feel sorrow, which leads to suffering. We need to recognise that pain is a physical sensation while suffering is the mental response.
The pain can be relieved with the help of painkillers, but the sorrow that we take cannot be easily cured. This can lead to dissatisfaction with our health as well. Instead, we can choose to give ourselves positive energy and remain detached to my own self from our body, using the knowledge and love from Baba. This can result in a healthy mind, a happy heart, and the ability to handle even the machine is not working properly. In this way, we can continue work efficiently.
So, healthy, wealthy and happy. Happiness is the result by using the eternal prosperity and pure and powerful relationship with Baba, ourselves, and each other. Relationships means an exchange of qualities. It is easy to handle qualities with the qualities, when the characters of others differs from ours. Knowledge and Baba and power.

Sudesh Didi – The Unlimited Brahmin Family plus Q & A - 14th April 2023 Evening Class - GCH, London
19 April 2023
Om shanti. The beauty of the Brahmin family is regardless of where we go, no matter which place, be it big or small centre, everywhere, the vibrations are the same; the love is the same, the course posters and pictures are the same, and we all study in the same school with the same enthusiasm and time table. It is just like in a family, a system continues from generation to generation.
This time in the Madhuban, for the foreigner season, the theme was Connecting with the Seed, the Power of Togetherness. Connecting with the Seed means the Creator of the Human World Tree or the Eternal Tree, the Incorporeal Father and also the corporeal father, the father of humanity, and the senior members of the family or the younger members of the family or the new children that are coming and joining this unlimited family. It is always the same enthusiasm, the same kind of love for each other.
When I came here for meditation, I was amazed to see the entire family of mature Baba's children, some of whom have been in gyan for 35, 40, or 45 years, while others for 20, 10, or 5 years. It is truly a great fortune for those who have been part of this family since a very young age. Baba sustains and enables these young souls to become responsible and support His yagya, to glorify His Name and play a role in this unlimited Machinery, whether it is a small or big role, incognito or obvious. But the importance is, in God's vision, no one is considered less than the other, as in the parents’ eyes, all are equal. And this is the Seed connected with this unlimited family. Just like in a lokik (worldly) family, where the younger ones are loved the most, as they are seen with good wishes, vision, hope, and expectations. Their capacity is not only connected to this present time, but some souls have brought with them the sanskars and personality that show their abilities and special power to recognise Baba as He is and be ever active and supportive in the family. This may be due to their past sanskars, blessings, charitable acts, and fortune from their past and present births.
The beauty of this relationship is that we all belong to one family, one Seed, one Tree with the trunk and roots connected. Our relationship with Baba is not just that of a Mother and Father, but also that of a Teacher. The wonder of our teaching is that we are all studying in the same class, with the same study, the same Murli, and the same time table. In every aspect, each one of us consider ourselves as students, studying individually but supporting each other based on our love for the study, love for Baba, and love for the aim and objective. We come together with the realisation that we are all students of the same class, studying in the same school but at different levels.
In other schools, it is not like that, where students of different levels are sitting in the same class, that those who are studying at the fourth standard are also sitting in the class for a big degree. Here, we generate this energy of togetherness, where we have the same class, the same Murli, and the same lessons, but everyone learns and takes from it individually in their own unique way. But because we are studying together and hearing the same questions from the same One every day, we are spiritually connected as school friends, and we are on the same journey together, like pilgrims. We are together in this togetherness in many different ways, whether it is as a family, as students, as those with specific responsibilities, or as pilgrims on the journey of remembrance.
The unique thing is that, in Baba's eyes, each one of us is equally important, just like a family member who is a part of our own life and connected with us. Just as in our own body, every organ is important and serves a specific purpose, no organ is less important than the other. Is there an organ of the body not important? Similarly, in the unlimited family of Baba, every soul, no matter how big or small, plays a significant role.
For instance, even a tiny screw in a machinery may seem insignificant, but it serves a purpose in supporting the functioning of a big engine. If that little screw is loose, it can affect the productivity and quality of the engine, no matter how efficient it is. Similarly, while we are independent, we are supportive of each other within the family. We understand the importance of each other. This understanding of the value of every soul in Baba's family is a unique aspect of our spiritual journey.
This was the longest time I stayed in Madhuban. Previously, during the lockdown, I stayed focused only on Gyan Sarovar and got to know the family there more and more. The best part was when every day, one of the family members would share their life story; how they came to Baba, what touched their heart, their experiences, how their life transformed, and how they conquered family challenges. Hearing each other's experiences creates a deeper connection, as we realise that we have gone through similar situations. If we have faced struggles, we come to realise what was missing in ourselves at that time; was it a lack of faith in ourselves, understanding of the depth of knowledge, or lack of yoga power? These shared experiences become a mirror, reflecting the deep love, devotion, and relationship with Baba that others have, as they focus on the aim and objective of becoming divine beings from human beings, or from ordinary Brahmins to angels, from angels to deities. It deepens our understanding towards self-transformation.
In a unique and different way, we support and sustain each other like family members, keeping the family together. Those who are fortunate are able to keep themselves together, just like good family members do. In India, especially in the joint family system, despite the challenges of life, the roots remain strong and powerful. Baba also understands that our personalities, sanskars, interests, and capacities may be different due to our individual efforts and endeavours. Even with this diversity, because the support is One, the roots are the same, and we are always safe, protected, and cared for. This is why I love this family and appreciate how fortunate I am to be a part of this unlimited family that encompasses the whole world, with its unique blend of capacities and efforts.
It is not just saying one God. It is not just a slogan to say "One World, One God, One Family," but a reality. During my time in Madhuban, I had the opportunity to hear and meet Brahmins from various places. This time, there were not many seniors in Madhuban due to different timings and travel schedules, and the programme was full. Some seniors were not able to conduct classes or meet different groups due to the scheduled programme.
So, it was my fortune to meet and interact with different groups from various countries. Through these interactions, I came to understand deeper about their internal efforts, their desire to be with Baba, and how they navigate different situations with Baba's support, whether they come from small or big countries. It was important to not just study and learn, but also to get to know each other and share experiences. I also had the chance to share Baba's knowledge with them and address their questions. What was interesting was that each group had unique questions, and Baba's knowledge is for everyone, so it benefited all. The nice thing was how much enthusiasm there is, and the growth of this unlimited family was evident. The number is unlimited; a small, small place, to have 2000 in the gathering is normal. 1000 is just an ordinary class. Where are all the Brahmins coming from? They create small Gita Pashalas and centers in their family's homes, supporting their village, town, and neighbours, contributing to the expansion of Baba's family.
Baba is giving everyone the opportunity to serve as much as they want, regardless of whether they are new or old ones in the family. It is a great fortune for those who are getting this opportunity now, just as it was for the ones who got it in the beginning. Although many ancestors have become incognito, now even the mature and elderly children of Baba, continue to provide support to the young ones and to each other.
During the Surrender ceremonies, families would come with great joy. The parents came together to celebrate their daughters' "marriage" with Shiv Baba. It was a unique way of celebration, filled with joy. The scenes were entertainment as families came together for three or four days, similar to a traditional marriage ceremony. One day would be dedicated to singing and sharing, another day for rituals and decorations, and yet another day for giving their hand in Baba's Hand. Each day would be marked by different ceremonies and different kinds of entertainment.
In some cases, the tradition of bhakti (devotion) is still followed during the surrender ceremony, similar to a girl's marriage. The girl would go around in seven steps or seven cycles, making promises to herself with each step in every circle. She would express her commitment to surrender herself and follow Godly directions in order to bind herself with the unlimited family. These promises would be heard by her parents, friends, and relatives, making it an entertaining and meaningful ceremony.
During the surrender ceremony, "relatives" from both sides, including the parents and the main teacher from the centre where the person has taken knowledge or is currently undergoing training, would come together. So, it was a nice way of seeing lokik (worldly) ceremony changing to a alokik (spiritual) one, creating the same sense of joy and celebration.
Also, I got to witness many different openings of the centres. Baba has often mentioned that now is the time when people come forward and offer their spaces, saying, "Please, this place is empty, or I have a new building where I am shifting, or I have specifically made a building for Baba." New centres are being opened in this manner. It signifies a new era where Baba is naturally attracting more children, more places, and more support. Eventually, everyone will receive Baba's message.
Question:
A neighbour of mine spoke about the belief that Jesus is God. Our conversation also touched upon the concept of the father of humanity, as well as the story of Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit. Could you provide further clarification on these topics?
Sudesh Didi:
This is the unlimited story of humanity, which is connected with various religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and ancient deity religions. The names may be different, but the characters are the same. The story applies to everyone in different ways; some have copied it, some have experienced it, and some have added to it over time, but the basic roots remain the same. The seed is the same.
When we hear the story of Adam and Eve, we learn that they were living in paradise. So, I asked myself the question, were they living alone? What is paradise if there are only two people? Paradise must be a community, a world where happiness and harmony exist. But this notion is deeply rooted in many human beings, as it is not limited to just two individuals. In many stories, examples are given with one or two main characters, just like in films where there is a hero and a heroine, but the story is not just about them. There are often many subplots and by-plots as well.
So, this is how I would interpret the story of eating the forbidden fruit: What was that fruit? It could be an apple, but the important point is that it was forbidden, and the other meaning of the fruit symbolises the result of an action that preceded it. It does not refer to a physical fruit that we eat every day, like an apple or a pear. Rather, it represents the reward of efforts made to go into Paradise. The story of Paradise does not depict a place up above, but rather, it suggests that paradise was right here on this planet.
In the story of Adam and Eve, it depicts that Eve was created from the rib of Adam, making her Adam's creation. This can be interpreted as Brahma being the father of humanity, and Saraswati being the main figure in establishing the new world, transforming it from the old to the new. These two are the main actors in this unlimited play, with others being referred to as Saraswathi, the goddess of wisdom, who is also a creation of Brahma, just like all of us are considered children of Brahma.
What was forbidden then? The fruit symbolises the fruit of knowledge, and the knowledge we are learning is about recognising and realising our original state of purity and peace. Knowledge brings about the result of remaining natural, pure, and peaceful. Purity was the result that all souls achieved to become worthy to be in Paradise. Without purity, one cannot get the passport to enter the Golden Age or the World of Happiness.
So, what is forbidden then? Because the fruit is in a state of purity, which cannot be broken. It becomes natural to be in a world where there is purity, there is peace, prosperity, health, wealth, and happiness. So, Paradise is right here on this planet.
Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden when a snake appeared and tempted them to taste the fruit. Eve was tempted to that, but why did Adam eat it? The question is why would Adam eat the fruit when it was the temptation of Eve? This is a matter of body and soul. This is also two together which are creating the reward while in this body. The snake is symbolic as it does not have legs and slithers in the dust, representing how it is connected to the dust. So, Baba refers to vices as snakes. In our story of spirituality, conquering a snake represents victory. Krishna, for example, was born with a snake protecting him, not biting him, but rather becoming a canopy. He conquered the snake by jumping into a river and transforming poison into nectar, bringing back jewels. Vishnu is depicted lying down on a snake, signifying the conquest of vices and complete comfort. What we are conquering are poisonous and vicious sanskars, symbolising body consciousness and the desire for worldly pleasures. In the Golden Age, all souls were naturally pure and in a state of soul consciousness. Relationships were based on soul consciousness, living together with mutual respect, and it was a world of happiness. As soon as we become body conscious, curiosity arises. Adam and Eve were living in paradise, and as soon as they ate the forbidden fruit, they broke this discipline, that led to them exploring what the body has to offer and the joy of indulging in bodily pleasures.
There is another story about Pandora, who was given a box and was asked not to open it. It was actually a box of time. Driven by curiosity, she opened it and all the natural calamities emerged, revealing that it was actually a timebox. So, events unfold over time. In the Golden and Silver Ages, souls were not bound by discipline, they lived naturally with pure sanskars and were ignorant of vices. It was only when souls came into the Copper Age, with the sanskars of enjoying everything through the body and becoming body-conscious, that the exploration of the area worldly desires began. In our story, this is represented by the eating of the forbidden fruit, which led to us transiting from the Golden Age to the Silver Age, when we are called the warriors. So we were defeated. In the Golden Age, we were divine beings; in the Silver Age, we were warriors. What kind of war was it? It was the internal war in our own personality, where we were defeated by body consciousness and worldly attractions of matter, becoming subservient to them. As a result, the world of happiness changed into the world of sorrow. When humanity came to this downfall, different religions emerged to offer support and guidance.
When we look at Christianity, Jesus and Christ are understood as two distinct powers. Jesus prayed to God, acknowledging that God is One and God is Light. He did not claim to be God himself, but rather the way to God but not the destination. Similarly, in other religions, the followers go wherever they want to go through their founder of religion. They came with them and they are taken back following them, but only when their founder is connected with God. The founders are considered as guides or messengers to help followers connect with God, but they are not seen as God themselves.
So, God is One, and One is for everyone, and that God is the Father of the souls. As souls, we do not have a specific religious label. We are all children of God, and God is not limited to any particular religion or belief system. Was God Christian? was God Muslim, or Hindu or Jain or Jewish? It is in body consciousness when different branches of religions emerge, they are like branches and sub-branches of the kalpa tree, bringing light in the dark night, providing guidance and support to seekers who are in darkness, and they begin to follow them. If you see the scriptures, the essence of the teachings is often similar, but written in a different colour, presented in a different way, but very similar ones because they are not the stories of one, they are the stories of all of humanity, of all of us, in the kalpa tree.
Additional Questions:
1. I used to hear the word maryadas a lot in Dadi’s time. Can you tell us about maryadas?
2. Today, Baba was talking about Satopradhan, Sato, Rajo and Tamo intellect. Could you elaborate on these aspects further?
3. According to the time now, how would you interpret the meaning 'Charity begins at home'.
Sudesh Didi:
Satopradhan refers to the state of truth. Satopradhan. Sat is truth. When there is truth, the result is bliss. God is often praised as Sat Chit Anand (Truth, Conscient and Bliss). Truth becomes deeply embedded in the subconscious, conscious, and subconscious, resulting in natural bliss in life. So, God is Truth, and the truth which is eternal and unchanging. Truth means satopradhan. Pradhan means the chief quality or highest level, similar to how ministers, Chief Ministers, or Prime Ministers hold positions of authority. Just as a window is called a window and a hand is called a hand, and it is true, and is not false. The word truth is commonly used everywhere to serve the same function. Just as everyone walks with their legs and not their hands. Although the photographs of the hands and the feet and the five fingers, will shape the shape of the hand and feet the same, and look the same as the real, and despite the similar shape of hands and feet, the truth is that they serve as the support for action.
Right or wrong, truth or falsehood, is shown through their functions and powers. Truth does not need proof. A photograph of truth serves as a reminder of the truth, but it does not provide the actual experience. The satopradhan stage of truth gives the direct experience of truth. For example, if I take a photograph of sunshine, it reminds us of light of the sunshine, but it does not provide light in the darkness of night. So, what is truth? The truth is the real sun. And why it is truth, is because its natural qualities are experienced: light, heat, warmth, and energy. So, satopradhan is the highest stage of truth of the soul. And the truth of the soul is soul consciousness. And all these five qualities or seven qualities, are at their highest level, without any mixture. That is called satopradhan.
So, in the Golden Age, it is not a question of following or not following maryadas. Maryada is a line of code of conduct, that you cannot step out from. It is an inherent part of the elevated human nature, and one cannot deviate from it. Just like Adam and Eve naturally followed the code of conduct of not eating the forbidden fruit, human beings in the Golden Age were naturally disciplined in their lives, making them purushottam, or elevated beings. And truth was truth, in the form of power. It was not the form of light. Purity was the form of our personality, of our divinity, inherent in our nature. Love was our natural state, and matter was perfect. Sickness and fear of death were non-existent, as the soul is immortal, and there was no fear of death. Truth does not need proof, but it is experienced through its qualities, affirming its truth as the reality.
Is this a real flower or a plastic flower? (Didi touches the fresh flower next to her on the table.) The colour may be the same, but the softness and texture are different. The fragrance of the flower reveals the truth of the flower. Similarly, in spirituality, when our reality aligns with truth, we are in a state of satopradhan, where we are able to give and experience truth. This stage is satopradhan, pure and untainted. In the Silver Age, matter does not require effort, but its natural nature is towards the law of entropy, to gradual changes. We become gradually conscious of our bodies in this age, but we are not attached to the body, not body conscious. While it is true that we are souls and not just bodies, we are not with all the qualities fully. 16 celestial degree becomes 14 celestial degrees, and the power decreases from 100% to 80%. So, gradually we are sato, it is truth and nothing is mixed in it, but the power is decreased. Then rajo is like copper. The Copper Age is referred to as rajopradhan, it is tainted, influenced by the environment, getting stained with the environment. The Iron Age, known as tamopradhan, represents darkness on the highest level, where our wisdom, knowledge, personality, and divinity are no longer pure or divine. This darkness is connected to the intellect.
The more we have yoga with Baba, the more power we receive. It is faith in intellect that gives us discipline, as the intellect understands what we will achieve, accepts our state of being we want to become, and has the determination and confidence to attain this. When our thoughts, intellect, and personality are aligned and functioning at the same level, we are in a state of satopradhan, where truth is achieved. The main thing is a pure mind, divine intellect, and naturally elevated actions. This is why Sri Lakshmi and Narayan are considered satopradhan.
Last week, Baba said those in the Golden Age are called deities, and those in the Silver Age are not called deities. The deity religion, and the deity clan exist in the Silver Age, but the divinity is not fully at 100%. It has been consumed already, just like a new thing that gradually becomes a little old, then tainted, and worn out in the end. This is how the new world becomes the old world as we go through different stages.
As we are in the darkness, negative potentials are developed. So, tamorapdhan means darkness, ignorance is the chief, and predominant in the world we are living in. Now, in order to reach perfection again, we need discipline, not through force or laws, but it is based on understanding and love. We keep our nature disciplined through decisions; with force alone cannot make us maryada purushottam. When we follow this discipline naturally, we are elevated human beings again.
Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – Charity Begins at Home - 15th April 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London
17 April 2023
Charity begins at home. What is the difference between cooperation, donation and charity?
Cooperation is an expression of sympathy, love, friendship. Sometimes we give cooperation to receive cooperation, or we are obliged to give cooperation. Cooperation encompasses a different quality of helping each other. Donation is on gross things; cooperation is on a different level. Donation is generally on physical aids, like giving clothes and food, or providing a kind of support, like opening the hospitals.
Charity is an act of benevolence, an act of bringing satisfaction to the soul, and ‘Charity begins at home’. There are three levels of charity. Our body is like a temporary home for the soul. This is my home, the temporary body, but I live here. The soul is living in this house, and all these organs: my windows, my ventilators my door, my organs, they are family members that cooperate with each other. Lack of cooperation from any members will cause distress. When there is harmony in cooperation, there is happiness and health. So, the first level of charity is to ourselves, to have this realisation: Charity begins at home. So, I have to give charity to myself, as I the soul, grahasthi (householder) to the body. The owner leaves the body changes the house, the house is disposed of, but the owner changes the house. So, I first need to give myself an act of charity, by cultivating pure consciousness, benevolent consciousness, soul consciousness, and constantly reminding ourselves of our relationship with the Supreme Soul. Then, I am giving cooperation to myself.
Donation as support, and charity as an action. So, my sense organs do not cause mischief. My eyes do not deceive me, and my actions do not create any bondage. This is the level of charity, and it begins at home, within ourselves. It requires constant attention and awareness, “Am I a charitable soul?” Punya atma, is naturally helping and sharing happiness with others, and sharing divinity through pure consciousness. In the golden age, as Baba says, we are all charitable souls. There, I do not give the charity of the relationship with God, nor do I make others aware that they are souls, that they are the children of the Supreme Soul.
The second level of ‘Charity begins at home’, is my family. All souls are my brothers, no matter where they live, they are living on this planet and we are sharing the same home in the physical world. I need to give them the awareness and share happiness. So, it is what Baba said today, to give them happiness and make them realise their divinity as the children of the Supreme Soul. This spiritual hospitality as well as charity, where the soul is free and happy, is the most benevolent act at all. This enables them to receive power from Baba. This charity creates freedom. It does not make me egocentric, because the more I give charity, the more reward of happiness I receive with this. This charity is always connected with fulfilling the inner needs of both the body and the soul. For example, when you give to someone, providing water to a thirsty person, you did the act of opening a source of water for the people. In India, there are traditions where, people open their places during hot weather, to distribute free water or free sweet lemon juice, and people actually give blessings in return.
Charity blesses you; donation brings expectations. When you give a donation, there is a subtle consciousness of I am giving, it makes you body-conscious. This is why they say give an incognito donation to incognito soul. Incognito should be given to incognito, where the soul is receiving inner strength, inner power and inner happiness. It works in every aspect. It is cooperation as well. It is donation, which does not create karmic account, but it creates a good relationship with each other. And the more we give this charity, the more we create the new world golden aged souls, because when we connect them with Baba as souls, then they become our own relatives, they give us cooperation; we give them cooperation, but without any bondage.
So, charity means that it does not create bondage or ego, but it makes you humble with the consciousness that I, the soul, am giving this to another soul. That is an act of charity. I, the soul, am giving to myself, to the family members of my body. As Baba said, we should use sweet words instead of conflict, and our nature should not harass others. We need to pay attention with introspection. Give charity to yourself by having a firm relationship with Baba. So, your visions are divine, your words are encouraging and filled with blessings, and your actions are an inspiration. This is what it means when we say ‘Charity begins at home.’
The second level of charity is to have soul conscious vision, pure vision, wherever I am, seeing others as soul brothers. It does not matter how we may refer them in our interactions, be it mother or father, friend or teacher, but this begins at home: personal home, family home, and the world home. So, ‘Charity begins at home’ includes cooperation, donation, and charity.
Meditation itself is a form of donation and charity. When we give sakaash through meditation, it is an incognito form of charity. We may not know who is receiving these vibrations, where they are doing to, or how Baba is using them, but it is a natural system of giving. Real deities are those who have learned to give charity as a natural system. When Baba uses our deity statues, we are not conscious of who are getting the benefit and who the devotees are. Deities are charitable souls. There is no consciousness of giving but naturally, deities are naturally soul conscious, and help each other, as Baba uses them for his service. This ability to become a charitable soul is a characteristic of deities.

Sudesh Didi – The Satopradhan Intellect- 14th April 2023 Murli Revision Class - GCH, London
15 April 2023
In today’s Murli, we need to pay close attention to whether my intellect is becoming satopradhan.
Satopradhan means the highest level of purity, the truth. Pure intellect means it is filled with Godly knowledge. The intellect has relationships with Baba as the Father, the Teacher and the Satguru. The relationship with the Satguru makes the intellect satopradhan. The relationship with the Father makes the intellect aware that I am Baba’s heir child; I am Baba’s worthy child. So the relationship with the Father is the intoxication of receiving the inheritance. But both mukti (liberation) and jeevan mukti (liberation-in-life) are inheritance.
All the souls in this world are the children of God, and they receive the inheritance of the Home and of Heaven, but not all at the same level, because the power of purity is numberwise. Purity is not only celibacy. Celibacy is the foundation, but purity is when the soul let go of ‘I’ and ‘my’, when we have the intoxication and we imbibe Godly qualities in ourselves. Then, there is the final stage.
Being bodiless is not the final stage. Becoming virtuous is not the final stage. Bodiless and viceless mean virtuous. Vices make us vicious; virtues make us divine. We are studying to become a deity. But when the divine virtues and divine acts are performed, how much have I become totally thankful for what Baba is giving and stayed detached from myself? Ego is impurity.
Satopradhan intellect means benevolent; being egoless and giving everything as a trustee of life. There is the balance of receiving and giving, of receiving and donating; there is no fighting or desire.
The attachment to some subtle need for appreciation or acknowledgement or thanks remains so deeply ingrained. The test is when someone questions you, criticises you, does not accept you, then, what is your consciousness at that time? Do I hold my truth? Do I hold my own stage of soul consciousness.
Being satopradhan means soul consciousness; being conscious of every quality is in action. This quality is not just in the intellect, but it is also in the interaction and action in our practical lives, although we are totally detached from it.
All the achievements or facilities do not necessarily equate to physical comfort. The concept of comfort is subtle. When someone is really testing me, what is my stage at that time? So, a satopradhan intellect holds the highest quality. The chief quality is the truth; the highest quality is the truth. Truth means I am beyond; I am equal on the stage: I accept praise, and I also accept defamation. To accept does not mean that I lose my enthusiasm, my courage and my confidence. To accept means I realise how much attention needs to be paid to what is said or spoken. If it is not truth, why should it hurt me? A diamond is a diamond, and if someone does not accept it, why should I lose the faith in myself, and think this diamond is artificial?
The egoless stage is actually the highest level of purity. God is incorporeal, bodiless and always says, “I am Your Servant. I have come to help you. I have come to support you. I have come to wash your dirty clothes.” In it, there is intoxication, there is love, so, how much love do I have?
So, satopradhan, sato, rajo and tamo. Rajo means something is mixed. Sat means truth and satopradhan means truth on the highest level, which is unshakable, which does not need proof, which does not need a certificate, and that is satopradhan. When others accept and appreciate you also accept and appreciate, without becoming possessive, because today's intoxication might become tomorrow's lack of power or loss of intoxication. So, what we need is internal checking.
A satopradhan intellect means a divine intellect and so, those who have a satopradhan intellect become heirs to the second number or then become the master of Satiyug, the Age of Truth, but the stage is now, the achievement will come later. In fact, the achievement is now because we are creating the Stage or the Stage for whatever future we have at this time.
So, satopradhan, sato, rajo and tamo. Tamo means darkness. So, when the intellect is bright and clear, the soul is able to see their specialities, which is given by Baba. When time, fortune, and others' cooperation are given, you become a trustee, there is no possessiveness, no 'my' or 'I'm like Brahma Baba and Mama. So satopradhan reaches the highest level and that takes time. And for that, yoga power is needed. The greater our relationship is with Baba, the more we have the power to see ourselves as a detached observer, enjoying everything and yet remaining detached. Its achievement is happiness, but it can go anytime. Today I have, not necessarily tomorrow, which means detachment from this aspect, without the possessiveness of 'I' and 'mine'. It is not even renunciation; renunciation really means I have attached to something. When we reach the level of being satopradhan, there is joy in everything, happiness in everything. So, the test makes the best; to see what how much truth there is. Truth means power; truth is the power, the power in the soul: the power of knowledge, the power of purity, the power of love and the power of happiness. Then, we will achieve the satopradhan stage.
Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – Our special duty at this time - 12th April 2023 Meeting English Class - GCH, London
13 April 2023
Om shanti. Good morning. A special morning, meeting with the special jewels of Baba’s rosary.
The closeness is felt when we are very near; the closeness is also felt even when we are far, and meeting each other from a distance, because we remember each other, and share about each other’s specialities.
Madhuban is our same Madhuban, as it was from the beginning. The foundation, the vibrations, the family activities. Of course, it is so big now, it has increased so much. And I was wondering how long it is going to be. And Baba says, “Children, of course, all of you have received the sustenance from the beginning, the roots.” But Baba is the Father of all souls, of all religions. Until the message reaches all, and the souls recognise that moment that yes, we belong to the One; until this message reaches everyone and souls accept it, the hives cannot be disturbed. It will continue. It is still going.
There is so much expansion taking place, especially in India: celebrations, melas, conferences, general programmes, government-connected programmes, programmes with the lokik and alokik families. Celebrations and conferences, it is the time of celebrations.
This was my longest stay with the family in Madhuban. Of course, I stayed in Madhuban at the lockdown time. It was a very special experience of being with the family in Gyan Sarovar as well as Madhuban, especially Gyan Sarovar. It was an experience of closeness. Over and over again, they asked, “How long are you going to be in Shantivan?” When are you going to come up.” I only went up for very short visits, to read the Murli and come back. There were not the opportunities for chit chats or classes with the Sevadharis or different departments. After the meetings, there was the opportunity to spend a few days in Gyan Sarovar.
There was also the opportunity to go to different places for different ceremonies, as India is the land of celebrations. And especially now, it is a trend that parents and relatives want to demonstrate to the society that how this joyful life our children are really serving with their own will and we are so happy that they are serving the world. So, the celebration is called dedication, surrender ceremony. The relatives came for a three-day celebration. It is very special, like a marriage ceremony, where they have different systems, rituals, but this is a spiritual aspect. Families enjoy this opportunity. Rather than being held in Madhuban, the ceremonies now take place in a zone or at their own places. For example, there was a surrender ceremony of eight kumaris in ORC. Each place was different. In Jaipur, there was celebration also. This was also a new experience for me.
Now, all of us have to pay attention that we are the one who opened the door to go back home. So, what is our special duty now? According to the need of time, expansion is important. So, expansion continues, to give the opportunity for the whole leaves of the whole Kalpa Tree to get the benefit and feel the flavour of Godly sustenance.
Baba is waiting. Drama is also waiting. As we fulfill our parts that Baba wants from us, we become angels, and make others fly.
It was a beautiful experience in Madhuban and in different places. Whether it is near or far, the internal relationship is always of closeness.
Om shanti.

Sudesh Didi – Connecting to the Seed - 19th February 2023 Gyan Sarovar, Madhuban
21 March 2023
Om shanti. Om shanti. Om shanti. I am very happy to see you all. This time is the first time I am away as the majority of the family is here, and I was in Shantivan. But I really felt we were together with each other. Still, meeting together face-to-face has its own charm, deep understanding, and near-ness. We all are near to each other, greeting each other.
All of you are together here and have already experienced the power of togetherness. The power of togetherness and the connection with the Seed, which comes first? When we are really together, there is love, harmony, understanding each other, acceptance, respect, communication, and cooperation. What is the reason behind us enjoying each other, eating and playing together and studying together like this? It is that in our hearts, in all of us, is Baba, the Seed, the Creator. We are the creations of the One Creator, the Seed, the Father of all souls.
Although we speak about one world, one God, and one family, the practical experience is the oneness, that we are deeply connected with the Creator.
What is the meaning of being connected? When we say that we are the creation of the One Creator, we are the children of the one Father, we are all souls connected to one God, what is the purpose of exploring or speaking about it? What is the proof of being connected?
We see the picture of a tree, or the branches that are connected to the tree. We see the beauty of the tree, but the power in these branches and the fruits they bear, come from the roots, from the seed. This means the seed is connected throughout the whole cycle. We are aware that the seed is able to give its power only when the fruits and the seed are connected.
When we are connected with the Seed, the power is in the soul. This is the living Seed. The living Seed is the living power; the living Seed is the eternal power; the living Seed is the Truth, which contains the truth throughout the whole cycle. When the soul and the Seed are connected, when we, the seeds, are connected with Baba, the Seed, in our seed consciousness, in our soul consciousness, we are able to experience our power. The moment we get disconnected, the power scatters; it is divided. The energy shifts. Our energy gradually gets disconnected. Of course, it is not that then we are not souls; we are souls. For example, many parts of the electrical appliances are originally connected to the generator. The energy is generated into different resources making many things move. When you switch on something and it is not working, you immediately know the power is cut off, though it is still connected. It is the same with us. Baba is the Seed, the Generator. Our power comes from being with the Power, the Source. As we move further and further in the cycle the relationship changes, and the ability of the soul to draw the energy has also become limited. It is just like the electric wire is small, but the generator is powerful. With a small cable, you cannot lift a big mountain. When the cable is powerful, you can use the machine to lift the mountain. It is the same here. When our connection with the Supreme is powerful, we are able to draw more energy. At this time, we are able to draw full energy. As we go through the cycle of time, gradually, we are changing our relationship with God. What was our relationship with God, the Seed, in the Copper Age? At that time, we also said God, the Father. But did we really have a relationship with God as our Father? How did we remember Him? We remember Him and we connected with Him, “Oh God, have mercy on us!” So, a merciful relationship and a loveful relationship, what is the difference? To experience God’s mercy and to experience God’s love, what is the difference? God’s energy is the same, but I was looking for mercy from God, and God was also merciful at that time. What was the subtle change? I was not connected with Him in the same relationship. I called God my Father, but I was a beggar. I was connected as a beggar of God, “Oh, God, give me peace.” “Oh God, give me love.” Internally, I am not connected as the child of God. My consciousness or my energy is connected as a beggar of peace and love at that time.
If a beggar comes to the doorstep of a king, of course, the king would give generously, whether it is food or clothes; whatever the beggar needs. But the king would not say, “Come and stay at my palace.” The beggar, on the other hand would not have the courage to enter the palace. This is an example of how our consciousness had changed. If we were servants, we worked hard and we received a return for that. We were paid according to our dedication; according to the intensity of our devotion, we received our reward. We became successful in whatever activities or whatever demands we had from God.
What about being a child of God? What would be the difference between being a child, a beggar and a servant? Our state of mind is changing, and the energy we draw from God is also changing. The more we are connected with the body and the bodily relations, the more we are attracted towards matter, towards physical objects. Our energy became scattered and divided, and our real source, that is, what is within us, also become weakened.
We felt we had lost something. The relationship was lost. But our love for God and our faith in God were still there. God is God, “He is the Supreme, He is the Bestower, He is the Remover of Sorrow…” We began to sing the praise of God.
A father is naturally concerned for his child without the child asking or begging. He gives everything as property to his child. At this time, having been through the cycle of time, we are once again connected with the original form of the relationship; not just of one relationship with Him, but all relationships with Him. We have created all types of relationships in the worldly sense with matter, with people and with objects. Now at the Confluence Age, we also have our consciousness, the energy of creating, of doing, and giving others what Baba has given us. But in our heart is Baba.
When there is the consciousness of being a child, you automatically develop that inherent personality, inherent quality, that is the inheritance from God. This is the difference between being a beggar, being a servant and being a child. This is why Baba is reminding us again and again: Remember the Father and the inheritance.
When the Incorporeal becomes Corporeal, the Incorporeal teaches us and says, “Forget the body and become bodiless.” The Incorporeal has to become corporeal. We corporeal have to become incorporeal. What have we been doing all the time? To experience motherly love and fatherly inheritance. This is the secret: God does not give His power of love from the Soul World. His Motherly power of love is to give us new awareness, new consciousness when we become connected with God. We, the scattered seed, which have become fruit sometimes, took the seed in our hearts, that fruit is separated from the tree again. You see, this is the cycle of the tree. When the seed and the fruit are separated from the tree, then gradually, the seed has to get the power again. The soul has to become again, with the original power, only when it comes into the corporeal form once again, into the corporeal body. God, once again, comes into the corporeal body, and we receive power by becoming bodiless.
Being bodiless is actually the effort. The bodiless coming into the body, when we are really connected with Him, we have the power to let go of all our attachment, which created blockage in us in receiving the power from God.
So, what does He teach us? He comes in the body to make us bodiless. The more bodiless I am, the more I am able to develop my power, by connecting with what He is showering upon me every day: the power of knowledge, the power of love, the power of purity, the power of blessing, the power of happiness. I am able to receive this when I let go of the external bodily form which I am covered with, and become bodiless again and again.
What is His love? First, He gives me the power to die, and the power to take birth. When we are connected with God, we die. What power do we receive? The power of the happiness of heaven.
Just as today’s Murli says, people say when we die, we go to heaven. God makes us bodiless; this means to die. He comes in the body to make us bodiless. This means to die, and then once again, He fills me with the power of peace, love and happiness, so that I live in the world with all the fruits which I had lost as we came in the cycle.
We receive all the powers at this time; we receive the power of matter, bodily health and wealth, happiness, love, prosperity, purity, harmony in relationship… heaven on this earth, the power which we receive at this time by being bodiless. God has to come into the body to make me bodiless. The more I am bodiless, the more I am connected with the Seed. Then, Godly power and my power attract each other.
What is connection? Connection is not of the body; connection is love begets love, like attracts like. When God makes me bodiless, I die a living death. I become alive through the energy that was latent in me. That means we connect with Baba, and develop a relationship. The internal energy is the original nature of myself, of purity. The original power of purity means there is nothing mixed in me. What is not polluted is not influenced. When I, the soul, receive this power of purity, the pure divine intellect is able to create a new consciousness. And the relationship with Baba is not only with the Father, but also the Motherly love, which enables the power to learn. The intellect becomes divine, and as we experience the relationship with the Mother, innocence develops, and softness comes. When the seed grows, it does not grow into a hard form; it is with gentleness. So, Baba creates with Motherly love, He sustains us; He connects us with our innocence and purity.
The more I connect as the bodiless soul, He connects me with my own power of silence. The more we connect with our inner peace, the more we become internally silent. The mind speaks less and less; it speaks softly; it begins to speak to the self and to Baba with the natural quality of purity and power develops. By being bodiless, the quality of peace is not the aspect of peace. Peace is also patience, being a detached observer, and the mind being peaceful. Different qualities are being developed. Connecting with the Seed means, the original qualities of God are becoming my qualities. As my qualities are growing gradually, they become pulled by God, like a magnet pulling the clean needle.
The more I become pure, the more I am pulled by Baba, and I receive His energy. The connection is becoming strong, the cable is becoming powerful. It is not only one relationship; this cable is one wire containing many things. The crane can lift the heaviest luggage. We have the power to face, the power to cooperate, and the power to let go; the Godly power which helps us to face worldly situations. This is the Motherly and Fatherly relationships, and the relationship with the Teacher. The relationship with the Seed means the Mother and the Father; the relationship with the Teacher means to develop my intellect, to clean my intellect.
Keeping the connection strong means the yoga power increases, not only soul consciousness. Yoga power increases through soul consciousness with knowledge. This means I the soul, am filled with Godly qualities: knowledge peace, love, purity, happiness and benevolence. Baba’s power is empowering me, in order for me to face the situations and the problems.
Then, through the relationship with the Satguru, I begin to recognise, and I have the power to realise what I had lost, and also to recognise what God is giving me, the inheritance from my Father, of all the blessings. Everything is received without any effort. In the state of true soul consciousness, there isn’t the feeling of making effort, but it is the feeling that I am enjoying the result of soul consciousness, it is about enjoying the result of Baba’s blessings. Truth becomes living; relationships become living. True light emerges.
The fruition, the part of connecting to the Seed, is that there is natural service, and there is a lot of happiness. The more we are connected with the Truth, we experience that Baba is doing service, while we enjoy observing how Baba is doing service, which is known as the power to become detached. Just as the seed becomes detached, then it has the power to grow new fruits, Baba enables us to fill ourselves with all the powers, and become totally successful, yet totally detached just like the seeds.
What is the cycle of the seed? In nature, how is the power in the seed visible? The more detached it is, the more power there is to create a new creation. When there is the power of truth, that I am a powerful child of the Almighty, I am a knowledgeable soul, I am a loveful soul, I am a powerful soul, I have total power to be detached and let go of ‘I’ and ‘my’.
How do we know we have become detached? We become detached when we begin to enjoy without consciously thinking we have become detached; you taste so much sweetness, that the “I am doing” does not remain in us. It is Baba who is giving and Baba who is empowering us.
When the seed is raw and I become possessive of that, this means I have not developed the power. The real power of the seed connected with the Seed is to become the ‘seed’, to become like the Father. To become the seed means that after all this expansion, of knowledge, or yoga, of dharna, of service, or success, we become totally detached; that is the power. Become a total trustee; that is the power. Let go; that is the power. This is what a seed does.
This is what Baba does: He comes, showers His blessings, gives us all kinds of powers, and then He goes and sits in the Soul World. Who enjoy the fruit of love, purity, peace and happiness? His children. At this time, when we recognise that we have to become like Him, that is real Godly power. The real Godly power is that He is detached, and what is blocking us from enjoying that power is attachment. So, the final blessing is to become the destroyer of attachment, and the embodiment of awareness of truth, smriti lagata; to become the embodiment of smriti and sthiti, the embodiment of the awareness of what my qualities and powers are. These are Godly gifts which I, the creation of the Creator, have received as an inheritance.
The seed grows in the earth. The stronger it is becoming; it is going above the earth. The more it is detached from the earth, it begins to bear fruits. The more I am able to be detached, the more I am able to experience Godly power. The power is given by Baba, but I enjoy it and become detached, and this is the secret of being detached. I enjoy peace, happiness, Baba’s love, and churning knowledge, but I am totally detached. This is yoga, the power to become detached.
When I am attached, it means my stage is not strong, and I am not yet powerful, I am attached to my seed. It is just like when the fruit is unripe, it is attached. Even when you cut it with a sharp knife, the seed will not separate. But the more it takes power from the Sun, the colour begins to change from green to yellow, the more powerful, softness increases, and sweetness increases. Then, what is the power in the seed? We don’t need a knife, as the fruit is so soft that you can open it very easily. The seed becomes separated. This separated seed has the power to grow its fruit again.
In order to experience that I come into the Golden Age with all my powers, I have to have the power to become bodiless, to become detached, to become egoless. The wonder is to have the balance of fullness, that is, to enjoy peace, love, happiness, company, and of total detachment. Is it possible? Brahma Baba lived this; Dadis lived this. They lived with this power; they had everything and yet, very light, very easy and totally detached.
So, the power to be full and the power to be detached; the power to be the master of my body, and the power to be bodiless. To overcome the weakness of the body; attraction, temptation and desires are the weakness of body consciousness. Baba comes into this corporeal world but is not influenced. He gives so much joy to the souls, and the souls can feel His love deeply. Then next minute, He is so detached that for 500 years; He does not remember us. It is love and detachment.
Baba’s love is so powerful that He fills us with detachment and with truth. He is so loveful that He gives us everything; He appreciates us and fills us with all His powers. And next, He goes and stays in the Soul World, totally detached. He only comes at the end of the cycle, once again, to give us power; the real power to become connected with the root and tree. It brings all of us together on this tree; branches and branches emerge, and each individual fruit has its own seed, and that creates a new tree. We are together, growing with the tree. I cannot grow alone, and think it is ok, I am a branch and I study very well and make good efforts. I cannot just think I have achieved everything, then cut myself off the tree, breaking off from the family due to any reason, whether storms come, doubt emerges, whether I cannot tolerate the behaviour and circumstances. I must not cut off and break myself off; I must not allow the storm to break me off from this gathering. I might have fruit for a period, and I say my yoga is very good, and my dharna is very good; I might think I am having extra yoga and enjoying myself meditating alone with deep yoga. But can this branch create new fruit?
On the one side, it is important to become detached, and on the other side, it is very important to remain together. So, we are together and yet, totally detached. We are making ourselves full: knowledgeful, blissful, peaceful, powerful, and yet, this fullness is given to the fruit. The seed does not eat its own fruit; the power to go beyond praise and defamation, throwing the seed away as rubbish, the tree will grow with the same respect and the same potential. So, the power to remain constant with my potential, which God fills in the soul.
This is why God is praised a lot, He is also defamed a lot. This is why sometimes Baba says, “You have defamed me by putting Me in the cats and dogs, in the dust.” He is not sensitive about His defamation, He has so much love for us that He does not want our intellect to get scattered from here and there, that we move away from the Seed. He wants us to connect to the Source. When I am connected with the Source, I remain always full. When I understand that this is the power of gathering as we learn from each other, we create a new connection, and the new world is created with the power of gathering. The work is not done alone, it is the success of the cooperation from all of us together. The tree will not grow by itself; it needs the earth, water, sunshine, the season and the environment. It does not grow alone. It is together, though the destination is to be alone again.
So, this is our journey to be connected with the family, to develop this power and also connected with Baba, to give this power to others and to receive power from each other. The tree becomes beautiful when all the branches are swinging together. The tree looks nice when the wind is there and all the flowers are dancing together. So, there is the beauty of togetherness but there is also the power of being totally detached. God is nyaara and pyara (detached and loving), He is the most Beloved, but is totally detached. So, when we learn this art of being full and yet detached giving but without the consciousness of giving, receiving and thankful for the power we are getting from Baba and from each other. Then, we are always connected with ourselves, with each other and with Baba. Then, we are able to give this power to the whole world. Not only are we connected with this Brahmin family, but we are also connected with the unlimited family because all those from the unlimited family are the branches of the same tree, and Brahma Baba, the great great great grandfather, his generation continues throughout the whole cycle. Eventually, it becomes the seed again.
So, this is how I understand what it means by we are connected. It means all relationships: Mother, Father, Friend, Teacher, Beloved, Guide, Satguru, Companion, Company, and remaining under His canopy. Being with all while being totally detached. This is the power to become detached while remaining totally full.
This is the essence of what I wanted to share. Om shanti.
