'Empowering Youth Voices' Interfaith Week 2023 Event At GCH, London, UK

Dear friends ,
I am delighted to invite you to the 'Empowering Youth Voices' Interfaith Week 2023 Event, Roundtables for Intergenerational Dialogue hosted collaboratively by Brahma Kumaris, Harrow Interfaith, and the National Multi Faith Youth Centre.
The event aims to connect interfaith networks across London with the perspective of young individuals. We promise an insightful exploration into the power of dialogue, meditation, and intergenerational collaboration. Individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are welcome to attend. Whether you’re passionate about social issues, interfaith dialogue, or youth empowerment, this event is for you. Come prepared to participate, learn, and contribute to meaningful conversations.
The event will take place on Saturday, 18th November 2023,from 4pm - 6pm at Global Cooperation House,
65 - 69 Pound Ln, London NW10 2HH.
The afternoon will include a keynote talk from Gopal Bhachu, Chair of Harrow Interfaith, and interactive table discussions ending with a reflective meditation.
You are invited to join us for dinner - registration required.
The topics for the discussion groups are:
● The Voice of the Refugee: exploring the narratives of refugees, shedding light on their challenges and triumphs.
● Personal Strength & Resilience: delving into the essence of personal strength and resilience during periods of tension and hardship.
● Our Reactions On Social Media: discussing the impact of social media and strategies for fostering productive online dialogue.
● Leadership in Times of Change: exploring effective leadership strategies in times of heightened conflict.
● Managing Eco-Anxiety: addressing the pressing issue of eco-anxiety and discussing sustainable solutions for a greener future.

BK Diwali Celebration at Global Cooperation House, London, UK, 4th November 2023

Amidst the final moments of drama, the GCH brahmin family celebrated Diwali under the canopy of Baba.
The celebration commenced with an assortment of light refreshments including the classic sweets, fafda, and juice providing the family with an opportunity to rekindle their bonds and foster a sense of closeness among each other.
The event continued with a profound meditation session, bringing together the collective energy of more than 350 souls in the auditorium and on webcast. Following the meditation, Sister Kim took the stage and commenced the event by invoking memories of Diwali in Madhuban with the Dadis. She then reflected on the true significance of Diwali, emphasising its spiritual importance.
