Experiments-in-Silence for the month of January 2023

Dear Divine Family, Om shanti and greetings of love.

In anticipation of the auspicious month of January, a small group has been meeting to plan for ways the Brahmin family can deepen our experience of the avyakt stage. In preparation for this month of silence, we are sharing a class by Dadi Praskashmani in which she explains that Baba and the Dadis want the whole of the Brahmin family to do tapasya with a determined thought, and instead of focusing on outside service, to concentrate on creating yoga programs to make the self powerful. She proposes 101 days, but we will confine our efforts to the 31 days in the month of January. We have attached her class here and encourage you to read it, share it with those at the centre and use it as preparation for January.

There will be 3 elements to our “avyakt month:

1. The avyakt murlis for the avyakt year. On the 5 Sundays in January, we will read murlis spoken by BapDada in 1993, the year He named as “The Avyakt Year”. Five senior yogis will experiment with practices in these murlis prior to our hearing them as a family. They will share a recording of their experiences on a site that the family can access for inspiration.
2. The family’s experiments with silence. Each Sunday, after hearing the avyakt murli and the experiences of the senior yogis, BK students and teachers are encouraged to experiment themselves in order to sustain a deep avyakt stage.
3. Avyakt Signals. The avyakt signals to be read each day offer another way to make consistent effort. The theme of these signals will be solitude (ekant) and concentration (ekagrata) to further support our experiments with silence.

We encourage you to begin preparing now for a deep and transformational month, moving all of those who are able to participate closer to the powerful avyakt stage. We will forward more details as we get closer to January.

Filming of DF Family in Gyan Sarovar, 2022/23 Season.

  

Recently the RCs made a decision that during the live online programs there will be filming of the audience that is present in the hall. There will be areas in the hall signposted for those who don’t want to be filmed to sit in and the filming team will NOT film people sitting in these areas. This is now the policy for this season.  It is good to note, that if people go up to the stage to ask a question during the session, they may be filmed. If they would not like to be filmed, they can alternatively write their question and have it passed to the MC.

 

The live streaming from the Gyan Sarovar Translation Team YouTube channels is available for some languages. Please see the below links and connect with your language coordinators, as live streaming will only happen when there is a translator in Madhuban at that time.

If you are planning to take children to Madhuban, please read the 'Guidelines for Parents & Guardians who take Children to Madhuban' in advance of your booking. You can obtain a copy from your Centre Coordinator/Travel Coordinator as the guidelines were circulated to the Centres in July 2022.

Golden Drops Update & Film Premiere - 1 December

As the Golden Drops team, we are happy to give some short and sweet updates as we are already in the 5th month of the initiative, on the way to 31 May 2023.

 

Good news

• We have over 120 videos for you to use and share with your contacts, BKs at the centre and your community to shower Golden Drops on the world and create a sense of hope and beauty. Please find all golden drops on this YouTube-link:

A Beautiful World Film Premiere

• On December 1: A Beautiful World Film will be premiered on YouTube and Facebook, showing some of the finest Golden Drops by theme. After watching it yourself, you may wish to watch it with your local BK-family or as a public program. It could be followed by a conversation on how to move ahead in current times and the idea of a new world that is awaiting at the horizon. Find the film on GD YouTube channel after Dec. 1

 

And the last thing to mention is that there are some interesting obstacles to posting directly. Facebook has changed its policies to disallow external posts on non-profit organizations. This retreat is for all BKs over 5 years in gyan who have a deep inclination to experience silence with the ONE and angelic sakaash. The aim is to empower BKs, and especially BKs with a scientific education, to progress with a fast speed. 

‘This power of silence is a very great power, with which the new world will be established, perfectioned, and completed. Those who stabilize themselves in silence, beyond sound, can carry out these tasks.'

We would like to inform you that the  Interview with Sudesh Didi on "Togetherness - Taking Inspiration from the Seniors" scheduled for the 14th October will be postponed to 18th October 6-7 pm IST.

 

Also on the 19th October the 11 am Panel Discussion "Changing mindset, shaping the future" with Sister Jayanti, Rajubhai (Rural Wing), and Br Golo will be shifted to 5.30-7 pm on 20th October.

 

We are sorry for these changes and inconvenience.  Please kindly inform all BKs about this change ASAP.

Live Translation for the Madhuban Double Foreigner Program October 2022

Dear Centre Coordinators,

 

Previously we informed you that all classes for the DF Madhuban Online Program for Group 1 from 10 to 19 October would be live streamed in English on http://tiny.cc/DFMadhubanProgramYouTube and also posted on the Youtube channel following the livestream, and that translation would be organized by your language groups and to contact your language coordinators for more information.

 

We are very happy to announce that the Gyan Sarovar Translation Team has now arranged for the languages that are translating for their groups on the ground in Madhuban, to go live with the classes on the Gyan Sarovar Translation Channel.

 

You will be able to access the languages live by going to 'gyansarovar (name of your language) translation' e.g. 'gyansarovartamiltranslation'.  This will of course only be possible when there is a translator of your language on the ground in Madhuban. We suggest you contact your language coordinators in this regard.

There has been 50 year celebration in Chennai  which were done on a very very grand scale, with Brijmohanbhai, Mruthunjayabhai, Karunabhai, Asha Didi and myself, plus most of the zonal and sub zonal Teachers from Tamil Nadhu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and all the neighbouring states being invited.

Friday morning we went to inaugurate Dadi Prakashmani hall which has been constructed at the site of the New Retreat Centre just outside of Chennai.

We then went to Happy Village, the original retreat place in Chennai and this was now accommodating 700 BKs from all around.  There was a short programme that evening and so we were all able to share with the seva dhari residents who had gathered.

Next morning we went to the Centre of Chennai about an hour’s drive away and there was a public event in which a minister and former retired judge were also speaking.  There were brilliant performances of music and dance by well-known artists.  It was a gathering of around 1000 high level people.

We all went for lunch to the Centre which is in the city where Rosieben used to stay and in the evening returned to the auditorium for another session.  Again excellent performances and there were 4 ministers present, but one spoke on behalf of them all since they all had to leave for another event.  It was again a full house and we all returned to Happy Village, the retreat place that night.

Monsoons in the south begin in October and there was very heavy monsoon rain that evening.

Next morning we had a programme for the BK family and this was in a marquee about 15 minute’s drive from the retreat place.  The owners had given the land for an BK event, knowing that it would bring them blessings with breakfast, lunch and dinner for everyone.  A grand programme with blessings from all.  

After the gift ceremony at the end of the programme, Hansaben and I left Chennai together with Mruthunjayabhai.  There was another event that evening which Brijmohanbhai attended.

The hall was beautifully decorated with real flowers and the next day was transferred to the marquee which again was done very  beautifully.

For the last 10 days I was in Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad for my health issues. After taking health benefits last night I came back to Gyan Sarovar safely. Blood checking is being done every third day. I am ok and taking proper rest. Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and blessings.

Madhuban DF Program - Group 1 & 2, October & November 2022

Dear Divine Family,

Greetings of love. 

Wonderful news - we are gathering in Madhuban again and hope to have many double foreigners from around the globe make the journey to our home sweet home.

 

The Theme for this season is The Power of Togetherness through Connection with the Seed.

 

The Group 1 October DF program will be filled with amazing sessions such as a workshop called ‘True Self-Esteem’ run by a member of Baba’s Mental Health team as well as a session called ‘Taking the Fear Out of Fear’; a special yoga experimentation session by Sr Meera; a ‘visioning of  the future’ discussion; powerful yoga bhattis, classes, workshops on current topics and much more. Of course many of our seniors from all around the world will also be with us.

 

Details will also follow soon for the Group 2 DF Program.

 

For both Group 1 and the Group 2 Programs in October and November, we hope to be live streaming most classes from Madhuban from 9th October to 18th October and then again 28th October till 7th November (excluding Baba’s Avyakt Milan Days). All translations will be organized by language groups so please contact your language coordinator for more information.

We will be sending you a brochure in the coming weeks with details of the names of seniors, class topics and class timings. The link to connect to all the classes in English will also be in the brochure.

Good News Update on Didi Nirmala's health

Dear Centre Coordinators,

 

Some of you may have heard that Didi Nirmala had not been so well after returning from her trip to Australia. This is to give you the latest update.

Dearest Angels, Brahmin family worldwide, Many greetings of love, joy and peace from Madhuban!

 

Dr Nirmala Didi is getting better and better. Her blood counts are almost near normal. She is stable, more alert and active. She took a stroll within her hospital room!

 

Many thanks for your good wishes, sakaash and meditative vibes – they are doing wonders. Didi personally conveys her grateful thanks. 

Didi is likely to be released from hospital on Saturday. She may travel to Gyan Sarovar on Sunday.

 

She is advised to still stay in her room and restrict visitors.

Reminder about the Importance of the Global Bhatti on the 4th Saturday of Every Month

Dear Divine Family, Om shanti.

 

Baba always reminds us to be in continuous remembrance. Also that the combined vibrations of Brahmins around the world are essential for the establishment of the new world.

 

We are very happy this Global Bhatti is being held regularly, and that centres and Brahmins from the whole world are participating. We wish to encourage them to continue contributing this essential, powerful energy to the world’s atmosphere.

 

We would like to request everyone to dedicate one day exclusively to this progress of intense effort for self and world benefit. Ideally this day should be without other activities, without mobile phones and technology generally. Imagine the power generated when all Baba’s centres and all Brahmins are integrated in the same Bhatti during this most important phase of the Confluence.

 

The Global Bhatti brings this opportunity monthly, on the fourth Saturday, and invites you to deep, simple and natural yoga. This day should figure in our calendars in the same way that World Meditation Hour has been established.

OUR AIM!!! Cover the Globe in Golden Drops by June 2023

Let’s cover the world with Golden Drops!! On the International Day of Peace, we will share an invitation video to announce our intention to have a Golden Drop for/from each country in the world. In cases where there is no Baba’s center in that country, we invite you to connect with friends of friends to find someone from that country who can share a Golden Drop of beauty for a beautiful world.

 

Golden Themes to Contribute

Shining light on beauty can be done in many ways, so feel free to experiment and find a golden angle that you find beautiful. Here are some examples.
