Brahma Kumaris Inspire Political Leaders To Imbibe Kindness And Compassion Through Spiritual Empowerment

Abu Road (Rajasthan): The Brahma Kumaris inaugurated a five day National Political Conference at Shantivan.  Members of various political parties,  MPs and MLAs from all over India,  took part in this event. ‘Kindness and Compassion through Spiritual Empowerment’ was the theme of this conference.

Sandhya Ray, Member of Parliament Lok Sabha from Bhind in Madhya Pradesh, while speaking at the inaugural session,  said that political leaders should think of themselves as servants of the people to avoid unnecessary ego which takes them away from the people. They should have an easy nature, so that common people can talk to them. Brahma Kumaris are working to get rid of many harmful practices in the society.  Today, there are many more women leaders in politics. Feminine power is making its mark in every field.

Balraj Kundu, MLA from Meham in Haryana, said that we need to introspect whether we are fulfilling our duty as political leaders.  He has always made every effort to help women and girl children. Everyone should get inspired to serve others from here.

Arati Paidol, Former Minister of Nepal, said that a new society can be built only by adopting kindness and compassion in politics. She appreciated the services done by Brahma Kumaris during Coronavirus Pandemic.

C. H. Vijayshankar, Former MP Lok Sabha from Mysore, gave the example of President Draupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi to explain the deep impact of spiritual persons holding political powers. Members of Brahma Kumaris have made this place heaven with their spiritual penance.

BK Brij Mohan,  Additional Secretary General of Brahma Kumaris,  explained the objective of this conference. He said that kindness and compassion are very big powers. The destiny of the nation lies in the hands of political leaders. If they learn to act with kindness, the face of our society will change. It cannot happen till we are afflicted with five evil tendencies.  For getting rid of these,  recognizing our soul nature is essential.

BK Lakshmi, National Coordinator of the Political Wing, said that political leaders are the base of any nation.  They hold great responsibility.

BK Usha, Headquarters Coordinator of Political Wing of RERF,  urged the participants to benefit from the pure atmosphere of Shantivan.  They should pledge to take the society and nation towards new heights from here.

सम्मेलन के स्वागत सत्र में भिंड सांसद संध्या राय ने कहा कि सभी राजनेता खुद को एक सेवक मानकर काम करें, यदि सांसद-विधायक मानकर चलेंगे तो अभियान आ जाएगा। अभिमान आने से आप जनता से दूर हो जाएंगे। अपना स्वभाव सरल बनाएं ताकि आम व्यक्ति आपको अपनी बात बता सके। ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान कुरुतियों को दूर करने का कार्य कर रही है। 20-25 साल पहले राजनीति में इतनी महिलाएं नहीं थीं। आज सरपंच से लेकर देश में कैबिनेट मंत्री, मुख्यमंत्री का पद महिलाएं संभाल रही हैं। मातृ शक्ति हर क्षेत्र में अपनी प्रतिभा साबित कर रही हैं।

बेटियों की हर संभव मदद करता रहूंगा-
हरियाणा के मेहम से आए विधायक बलराज कुंडू ने कहा कि विचारणीय प्रश्न है कि राजनीति और राजनेता का जो कर्तव्य होता है, क्या हम उसका पालन कर रहे हैं? मैं सामान्य परिवार से हूं। एक फौजी का बेटा हूं। लोगों की सेवा करने के लिए मैं राजनीति में आया हूं। मैं बहनों और बेटियों को सुविधाएं देने, उनका मान बढ़ाने और शिक्षा में हर संभव मदद बनाने के उद्देश्य से राजनीति में आया और आज उनकी सेवा कर रहा हूं। आज क्षेत्र की एक छोटी से छोटी बेटी मुझे बलराज भैया कहकर बुलातीं हैं और जानती हैं। यहां से सभी देश-प्रदेश और गरीब की सेवा करने का संकल्प लेकर जाएं। नेपाल की पूर्व मंत्री आरती पैडोल ने कहा कि राजनीति में दया और करुणा के समावेश से ही नए समाज का निर्माण होगा। ब्रह्माकुमार भाई-बहनों ने जिस तरह कोरोनाकाल में भी सेवाएं की हैं वह सराहनीय हैं।

राष्ट्रपति का निर्णय देश के लिए एक संदेश है-
मैसूर के पूर्व सांसद सीएच विजयशंकर ने कहा कि जब एक आध्यात्मिक व्यक्ति बड़े पद पर पहुंचता है तो देश व समाज में कैसे बदलाव आता है इसका सबसे बड़ा उदाहरण प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू हैं। उन्होंने सबसे पहले राष्ट्रपति भवन में मांसाहार बंद कराया और वह खुद अलसुबह 4 बजे राष्ट्रपति भवन के मंदिर में होने वाली आरती करती हैं। यह अपने आप में देश की जनता के लिए बहुत बड़ा संदेश है। यहां के भाई-बहनें अथक परिश्रम से यहां स्वर्ग बना रहे हैं।

राजनेता के हाथ में होता है देश का भाग्य-
संस्थान के अतिरिक्त महासचिव बीके बृजमोहन भाई ने सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य बताते हुए कहा कि दया और करुणा बहुत बड़ी शक्ति है। राजनेता के हाथ में देश का भाग्य होता है। यदि राजनेता में दया और करुणा आ जाए तो दुनिया की सूरत बदल जाएगी। पांच विकारों से ग्रसित व्यक्ति में दया और करुणा का भाव जागृत नहीं हो सकता है। इसके लिए हमें आत्मिक स्वरूप की पहचान होना जरूरी है। जब हमें यह भान रहता है कि मैं एक आत्मा हूं तो स्वत: दया एवं करुणा का भाव जागृत हो जाता है। गीता का भी पहला श्लोक है कि आप एक आत्मा हैं। राजनेताओं में आध्यात्मिकता का संदेश देने के लिए यह सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया है।
राजनीतिज्ञ सेवा प्रभाग की राष्ट्रीय संयोजिका बीके लक्ष्मी दीदी ने कहा कि राजनेता देश के आधार होते हैं। इसलिए आप सभी के ऊपर विशेष जिम्मेवारी है। आपके एक शुभ और श्रेष्ठ निर्णय से लाखों लोगों को लाभ मिलता है। प्रभाग की मुख्यालय संयोजिका बीके ऊषा दीदी ने कहा कि आप सभी यहां पांच दिन तक इस पवित्र वातावरण का पूरा लाभ लें और यहां से समाज और देश को नई राह पर ले जाने का संकल्प लेकर जाएं।

‘Speed, Safety and Spirituality’: Report on the National Conference for Travel, Transport and Tourism Sectors

Abu Road (Rajasthan): The Transport and Travel Wing of RERF,  in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris, held its National Conference at Global Auditorium of Manmohinivan premises. The theme of this Conference was Speed, Safety and Spirituality.

Dadi Ratanmohini, Chief of Brahma Kumaris, said that we are all children of God. We must try to remember Him before starting any work.  If our mind is calm, we can handle any situation well.

Ramesh Chandra Ratna, Head of Railway Passenger Advisory Committee, while speaking on this occasion,  said that the increase in road vehicles and accidents is worrisome.  A little carelessness can lead to loss of lives. To avoid road accidents, a balanced mind is required.  Rajayoga Meditation can be very helpful in this. Leading a balanced life is also required for a balanced life.  Brahma Kumaris make you realize these spiritual truths.

BK Divya Prabha, National Coordinator of Transport and Travel Wing of RERF,  from Borivili in Mumbai,  said that the aim of this initiative is to stop road accidents happening anywhere in the country.  We teach Rajyoga to people for this, so that they can learn how to keep their minds balanced.

BK Karuna,  Multi Media Head of Brahma Kumaris,  said that Rajyoga means living a disciplined life.  If we perform all actions in a disciplined manner, we can escape accidents.

BK Kunti, National Coordinator of Transport and Travel Wing of RERF, said that Rajayoga brings a positive transformation in life. If our mind is balanced,  we can avoid accidents.  We need to give dedicated time to it daily.

BK Suresh Sharma,  Headquarters Coordinator of Transport and Travel Wing, also shared his views. A cultural evening was also part of this conference.

Brahma Kumaris are bringing awareness about organic farming and de-addiction: Haryana Rural Development Minister

Abu Road (Rajasthan):   The five-day National conference on Yogic Agriculture – the Lighthouse of Global Farming, was inaugurated at Diamond Hall in Shantivan, Headquarters of Brahma Kumaris.  More than six thousand farmers, villagers, agricultural scientists, agricultural officers from all over the country are participating in this conference.

Addressing the conference, Haryana Rural Development Minister Devender Singh Babli, who came from Jind, said that the Agriculture and Rural Development Wing of Brahma Kumaris is bringing awareness among the farmers. Today thousands of farmers in the country are doing yogic farming using Rajyoga. I myself am a son of a farmer and have done farming. Today, due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers, the nutritional value of our grains has disappeared . Minister Sing said that in the last three decades, we have started production of poison by putting pesticides in the fields.  Brahma Kumaris sisters are making people aware of organic farming and de-addiction. I will make effort to take this effort of yours to every village.

Former Rural Development Minister of Maharashtra Government Satej D Patil said that the Brahma Kumaris have shown a new way of living to the people of different backgrounds.  The economy of India is based on agriculture.  They are doing a commendable job to make the farmers aware about the sustainable yogic farming.  Joining here, many farmers themselves have prepared organic manure and today they are doing organic farming  successfully.

Badri Vishal Tiwari, Deputy Director, Directorate of Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh, who came from Lucknow, said that if we look at the present scenario, today the contribution of agriculture to our GDP is decreasing continuously.  In the year 1951, the GDP of agriculture was 51 percent, and according to the year 2014, it has remained only 14 percent.

Deputy Director Tiwari said that both food and mind are purified by yogic farming.  It is related to yoga.  Yoga means connection.  By connecting one’s relation with the Supreme Father, God taking powerful rays from him, and giving good vibrations to the crop is yogic farming.

Dr. A.K.Singh, Deputy Director of ICAR from New Delhi, said that when the country became independent, the production of food grains at that time was 50 million tons, today it is 315 million tons. Compound farming is talked about here.  Farmers who use chemical products, it is up to them to decide how much they have to use them.  Compared to developed countries, we do not use even ten percent of pesticides.  Earlier seeds were worshiped before sowing them in the ground, but today all these methods have changed.

Chief of Brahma Kumaris Rajyogini Dadi Ratanmohini said that  the farmer brothers from all over the country should take education of organic farming from here and use it in their farming.

Chairperson of Agriculture and Rural Development Wing Rajayogini BK Sarla,  Motivational speaker BK Sister Shivani, Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris Rajayogini BK Santosh, Additional General Secretary BK Brijmohan  also put forward their views.

The welcome address was delivered by BK Raju, Vice Chairperson of the Agriculture and Rural Development Wing.  The goal of the conference was shared by the National Coordinator BK Sunanda .  The stage was conducted by BK Trupti,  National Coordinator of the wing, who came from Surat.  Thank you note was given by Madhuban Co-ordinator BK Sumanth.  The welcome song was presented by the artists of Madhurvani Group.

18 सितंबर, आबू रोड/राजस्थान।  ब्रह्माकुमारीज के शांतिवन मुख्यालय में पांच दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय यौगिक कृषि-वैश्विक कृषि का प्रकाश स्तंभ महासम्मेलन का शुभारंभ हुआ। इसमें देशभर से छह हजार से अधिक किसान, ग्रामीण, कृषि वैज्ञानिक, कृषि अधिकारी भाग ले रहे हैं।

महासम्मेलन के स्वागत सत्र में संबोधित करते हुए हरियाणा सरकार में ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री जिंद से आए देवन्द्रर सिंग बबली ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज का कृषि एवं ग्राम विकास प्रभाग किसानों में जागरुकता ला रहा है। प्रभाग से जुड़कर आज देश में हजारों किसान राजयोग का उपयोग करते हुए यौगिक खेती कर रहे हैं। मैं किसान का बेटा हूं। मैंने खुद खेती करवाई और की है। आज रासायनिक खादों के अत्यधिक प्रयोग से कहीं न कहीं हमारे अनाज की जो खुशबू, पौैष्टिकता थी वह गायब हो गई है।

मंत्री सिंग ने कहा कि पिछले तीन दशकों में हमने खेतों में पेस्टीसाइड डालकर जहर का उत्पादन शुरू किया है। हरिणाया में स्थिति ये है कि कई गांवों में हर तीसरे व्यक्ति को कैंसर है। पहले हम फसल चक्र पद्धति अपनाते थे। कई तरह के अनाज का उत्पादन करते थे। पहले किसान खेती-बाड़ी के साथ बागवानी भी करता था। सब्जियां भी उगाता था। लेकिन हमने तेजी से आगे बढऩे की होड़ में हम ज्यादा उत्पादन देने वाली फसलों लगाने लगे और पेस्टीसाइड उपयोग करने लगे। किसान बागवानी की ओर बढ़े इसके लिए हरियाणा सरकार किसानों को प्रेरित कर रही है। जैविक खेती और नशामुक्ति के लिए ब्रह्माकुमारीज की बहनें लोगों को जागरूक कर रही हैं। आपके इस प्रयास को हर गांव तक ले जाने का प्रयास करुंगा।

यहां से जुड़कर किसान खुद तैयार कर रहे जैविक खाद-

महाराष्ट्र सरकार के पूर्व ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री सतेज डी पाटिल ने कहा कि  ब्रह्माकुमारीज ने विभिन्न पृष्ठभूमि के लोगों को जीने की नई राह दिखाई है। भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था कृषि पर आधारित है। हम किसानों के योगदान को भूल नहीं सकते हैं। किसानों को शाश्वत यौगिक खेती के बारे में जागरूक करने बहुत ही सराहनीय कार्य कर रही हैं। भारत जीवनशैली प्राचीन काल से आकर्षण का केंद्र रही है। राजयोग को खेती में शामिल करने से किसान उन्नति कर सकते हैं। यहां से जुड़कर कई किसानों ने खुद जैविक खाद तैयार किया है और आज सफलतम रूप से यौगिक खेती कर रहे हैं।

2014 में 14 फीसदी ही बची जीडीपी-

लखनऊ से आए उप्र के कृषि निदेशालय के उपनिदेशक बद्री विशाल तिवारी ने कहा कि भारत एक समय सतयुगी, स्वर्णिम भारत था। प्रकृति संतुलित और सब सुखी थे। वर्तमान परिदृश्य पर नजर डालें तो आज खेती का हमारी जीडीपी में लगातार योगदान घटता जा रहा है। वर्ष 1951 में 51 प्रतिशत कृषि का जीडीपी में योगदान था जो लगातार घटता जा रहा है और वर्ष 2014 के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक मात्र 14 प्रतिशत ही रह गया है। इससे किसान तीन तरह से कमजोर हुआ है। आर्थिक रूप से किसान परिवार की प्रतिमाह आय 6-7 हजार रुपये है। दूसरा सामाजिक रूप से कमजोर होना। आज किसान का बेटा किसान नहीं बनना चाहता है। भले वह चपरासी बनना स्वीकार कर लेता है। तीसरा है मानसिक रूप से कमजोर होना। देश में हर वर्ष करीब आठ हजार किसान खुदकुशी कर रहे हैं।

यौगिक खेती से किसान होंगे सशक्त-

उपनिदेशक तिवारी ने कहा कि त्रेतायुग में भी प्रकृति हमारी सहयोगी और सुखदायी थी। द्वापरयुग में भी प्रकृति का साथ मिला। हम रामराज्य की कल्पना करते हैं, जहां सब सुखी रहते हैं। रामराज्य के लिए जरूरी है कि अन्न और मन दोनों शुद्ध और सात्विक हों। यौगिक खेती से अन्न और मन दोनों शुद्ध होते हैं। इसका संबंध योग से है। योग माना जोड़। अपना संबंध परमपिता परमात्मा से जोड़कर उनसे शक्तिशाली किरणें लेकर फसल को शुभ बाइव्रेशन देना ही यौगिक खेती है। भौतिक और पराभौतिक ऊर्जा के समन्वय द्वारा प्राकृतिक विधि से की जाने वाली खेती ही शाश्वत यौगिक खेती है। इसके तहत हम प्रकृति को नष्ट नहीं करते हैं। जीवाणु की रक्षा करते हैं और उनसे प्रेमपूर्ण व्यवहार व्यवहार करते हैं। भौतिक ऊर्जा जो प्रकृति से मिलती है और पराभौतिक ऊर्जा को हम परमात्मा से योग के माध्यम से प्राप्त करते हैं। जैसे यदि सूर्य की किरणें समूची पृथ्वी पर पड़ रही हैं लेकिन यदि हमें लेंस की सहायता से कागज जलाना है तो उसे स्थिर करके एक ही केंद्र पर रखना होगा तो कागज सूर्य की किरणों से जलने लगता है। इसी प्रकार परमात्मा अपनी शक्तियां विखेर रहे हैं लेकिन उन्हें योग के माध्यम से हम संग्रहित, एकत्रित करते हैं। यौगिक खेती हजारों साल पुरानी प्रामाणित विधि है। इसे हजारों साल पहले हमारे ऋषि-मुनियों ने प्राकृतिक खेती का उल्लेख किया है। ऋग्वेद में कहा गया है कि हम धरती मां की पूजा, हल की पूजा, बैल की पूजा, रोपाई लगाते हुए गीत गाने की परंपरा थी। हर चीज का सम्मान था, जिसे आज हम भूल गए हैं।

पहले बीज की करते थे पूजा-

नई दिल्ली से आए आईसीएआर के डिप्युटी डायरेक्टर डॉ. ए.के. सिंग ने कहा कि जब देश आजाद हुआ तो उस समय खाद्यान्न का उत्पादन 50 मिलियन टन था, आज 315 मिलियन टन है। हमारे यहां जितने भी उत्पाद हैं, सभी में रिकार्ड उत्पादन है। हम विश्व में दूसरे नंबर पर हैं। प्राकृतिक खेती जो गौ आधारित खेती है। यहां यौगिक खेती की बात की जाती है। किसान जो रासायनिक उत्पादों का प्रयोग करते हैं यह निर्णय उनके ऊपर है कि उन्हें इनका प्रयोग कितना करना है। विकसित देशों की तुलना में हम दस फीसदी भी कीटनाशकों का उपयोग नहीं करते हैं। पहले जमीन में बीज डालने के पहले उसकी पूजा होती थी लेकिन आज इन तमाम विधियों में परिवर्तन हुआ है। प्राकृतिक खेती, यौगिक खेती पर अब तक जितना शोध होना चाहिए था उतना नहीं हुआ है।

अपनी खेती में भी करें प्रयोग-

मुख्य प्रशासिका राजयोगिनी दादी रतनमोहिनी ने कहा कि देशभर से आए सभी किसान भाई यहां से जैविक खेती की शिक्षा लेकर जाएं और अपनी खेती में इसका प्रयोग जरूर करें। प्रभाग की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्षा बीके सरला दीदी ने कहा कि सभी किसान भाई यौगिक खेती अपनाएंगे तो कम लागत में अधिक उत्पादन प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।

मैं सतयुगी आत्मा हूं-

मोटिवेशनल स्पीकर बीके शिवानी दीदी ने कहा कि स्वर्णिम दुनिया में हर एक आत्मा सुखी रहती है। अपने मन में संकल्प करें कि परमात्मा ने सतयुगी दुनिया बनाने के लिए मुझे चुना है। क्योंकि मैं सतयुगी आत्मा हूं। दिव्य आत्मा हूं। सबको देने वाली आत्मा हूं। सबको सुख देने वाली, प्यार देने वाली, सम्मान देने वाली सतयुगी आत्मा हूं। यहां से घर जाकर रोज इन बातों को दोहराएं। क्योंकि संकल्प से सृष्टि बनती है। जैसे हमारे संकल्प होते हैं वैसी ही हमारी सृष्टि बनने लगती है। हमें देवता बनना है। देवता सिर्फ देते हैं। देवता सबको प्यार, खुशी, आनंद, सम्मान, दुआ देते हैं। संस्कार से संसार बनता है। शुद्ध अन्न खाने से शुद्ध मन बनता है।

भूमि को बचाना है तो यौगिक खेती अपनाएं-

संस्थान की संयुक्त मुख्य प्रशासिका बीके संतोष दीदी ने कहा कि मैं किसान भाइयों की मेहनत को देखकर उनके आगे सिर खुशी से नतमस्तक हो जाता है। किसान भाई ही हमें अन्न देते हैं। यदि भारत भूमि को बचाना है तो प्राकृतिक-यौगिक खेती की ओर लौटना होगा। इससे जहां हमें शुद्ध अन्न मिलेगा तो तन स्वस्थ रहेगा और शुद्ध अन्न से शुद्ध मन भी रहेगा। भारत के अन्न में जो स्वाद मिलता है वह बाहर के अन्न में नहीं मिलता है। अतिरिक्त महासचिव बीके बृजमोहन भाई ने कहा कि यौगिक खेती, श्रेष्ठ क्वालिटी की खेती है। इससे जहां हमारा मन संतुलित रहेगा वहीं तन भी स्वस्थ रहेगा।

‘Brahma Kumaris are relentlessly working towards peace’ : Gogoi, Former Chief Justice of India and MP Rajya Sabha

Abu Road (Rajasthan): The Brahma Kumaris,  in collaboration with Ministry of Culture,  Government of India,  inaugurated ‘Global Summit,  2022’ at Diamond Hall in Shantivan.  The theme of this Summit is ‘India the Harbinger of World Peace’. It was inaugurated by Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Former Chief Justice of India( CJI ) and MP Rajya Sabha and Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture,  Government of India, as Chief Guests. The function was attended by many prominent personalities and senior members of Brahma Kumaris,  along with thousands of people from India and abroad.

BK Mruthyunjaya,  Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris,  gave the welcome speech.

Dadi Ratanmohini,  Chief of Brahma Kumaris, said the whole world is eager to see a glimpse of Golden India today. She said that every country is trying for peace. If we remember that we are all children of the same Supreme Father and hence brothers and sisters,  this will bring peace and brotherhood amongst all.

Chief Guest,  Ranjan Gogoi, Former CJI and MP Rajya Sabha,  said that today’s world resembles the description of Kaliyuga or dark ages given in our religious texts. In view of that, the purpose of this Summit is commendable and the topics of discussion are relevant.  The Brahma Kumaris are working for the purification of the soul through spiritual teaching and meditation.  Everyone today is looking for peace, this is where the Brahma Kumaris are helping mankind, by rejuvenating the soul through good thoughts and deeds. He was very grateful for being invited to inaugurate this great event.  He said that people are being taught values, civilization, culture, yoga, spirituality through Brahma Kumaris from where practical knowledge is being imparted to the society. Yoga will bring change in the world. Peace will come in the world only through yoga and spirituality. From here the message of peace is being given to the world through the knowledge of the soul. He praised the Brahma Kumaris and said that they are relentlessly working towards peace. He wished them success and prosperity.

Chief Guest Meenakshi Lekhi, MoS For External Affairs and Culture,  Government of India,  said that Bharat is a community of people that seek their happiness in the well being of all. Brahma Kumaris Organization is a shining example of feminine power where women are establishing right values in the society through their spiritual prowess. Women have occupied high positions in vedic Bharat. Brahma Kumaris is doing the work of character building of men through Rajyoga and bringing peace to the society.

BK Nirwair,  Secretary General of Brahma Kumaris,  read the message of PM Narendra Modi,  wishing success for this Summit,  to the audience.  He said that every Indian wishes to see Bharat occupy its Golden position once again.  The aim of this Summit is to remind everyone that we must live in a spirit of brotherhood,  for peace to prevail.

Om Prakash Yadav, MOS For Social Justice and Empowerment,  Government of Haryana,  said that there is immense peace in Shantivan.  He has seen many organizations all over the country, but the Brahma Kumaris is ahead of them all. Today, he was fortunate to learn some great spiritual truths after listening to Dadi.

L.P. Pant, National Editor of Dainik Bhaskar from Jaipur,  said that for a journalist,  the most sad news is the most read one. Making governments answerable is what gives peace to a journalist.

Dr. Bandi Parathasarathy Reddy, Chairman of Hetero Group from Hyderabad,  said that he is very fortunate to have been associated with Brahma Kumaris for the last 12 to 15 years.  He could not only improve himself but also inspire about 25 thousand families employed in his group.

Vijay Darda, Chairman,  Lokmat Group,  Mumbai,  said that while we are still talking about 33 percent reservation for women in Indian Parliament,  Brahma Kumaris Organization is hundred percent run by women.  It is a shining example of social empowerment by discipline,  love and commitment of women.

Ravindra Dharia, President of Vanarai People’s Movement for Green India, Pune, was felicitated with ‘Guardians of Humanity’ Award on this occasion.

In the Reception session of the four-day conference, HH Yaduveera Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Maharaja of Mysore said that Brahma Kumaris are doing very commendable work in the interest of the country and society.  From here people are being educated to change the world with positive thinking.  Along with this, a lot of work is also being done for environmental protection and he is very happy to be here.

Manish Bajpai, Consultant Editor of Doordarshan, who came from Delhi, said that the shloka of Devo Shanti testifies that India has been giving peace to the world from the past till today. The Brahma Kumaris are the storehouse of  knowledge.

Brahma Kumaris Multimedia Head BK Karuna said that the spirit of India has been that of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.’  God is one.  Shiva, the Supreme Soul, is the Supreme Father of all the souls of the world.  We have given the message of tying the world in unity.

Media giants were rewarded –  Eminent senior journalists and media stalwarts from across the country were honoured with the “Rashtriya Chetna Puraskar” during the conference.

Mayur Dance was presented by Lokmat Group from Nepal and a beautiful performance by Shakti Niketan Indore Hostel girls.

More than 5,000 academicians, politicians, social workers, media persons, Vice Chancellors of various universities are participating in the global summit.

For the last 10 days I was in Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad for my health issues. After taking health benefits last night I came back to Gyan Sarovar safely. Blood checking is being done every third day. I am ok and taking proper rest. Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and blessings.

02 Sept. 2022: Inaugural Ceremony

The programme began with a warm welcome of our respected guests and then the exchange of spiritual views by honorable dignitaries followed by candle lighting.

• Bro. BK Aatamprakash, HQ Coordinator, Youth Wing (RERF) shed light on "Self-Transformation", stating that we must focus on our inner virtues. He also emphasized on the value of mastering the "Art of Positive Thinking," providing with the mantra "Yukti + Shakti = Vikaro se Mukti". He further inspired the audience on how "We can serve the world from India and revolutionize the Information Technology field".
• Bro. Mr. Manjunath, Head, Wellbeing Business & Products, TCS, also spoke about his own experiences, including how self-analysis helped him grow as a person and how it helped him to start "Yoga Certification Courses at TCS" and changed his perspective on life. He found that "Equanimity" is the key to mastering Meditation.
• Sis. Chetna, President, ElCamino Technologies Pvt. Ltd., successfully captivated the audience with the theme's potent idea, "Introspection - The Journey Within." She shared how she reinvented herself into a better version of herself as she practiced meditation.
• Sis. Aruna Ladva, National Coordinator, Kuwait, presented the brief about the Conference.  She expanded the theme: Introspect - "Time for ourselves. Time to go Inside" Innovate - "Experimenting the power of thoughts".
• Bro. Yashwant, HQ Coordinator, shared a detailed introduction of IT wing services conducted at all over the places.

03 Sept. 2022:  Introspection &  Innovate

• Emerging session conducted by brother Bro. EV Girish on topic "How to Think Right" and given insight on below points:

1. The power of right thought creation leads to a balanced, strong and healthy mind.
2. Elaborated on various ways of overcoming thinking traps with scientific examples.
3. Spread knowledge about inner virtues and learn how to believe in yourself and how to be kind with others.

• Sis. Shreya guided the audience through an inner journey with the vision that in any situation we must be stable, calm, happy, and must boost our inner virtues.
• Bro. Bala Kishore gives us insight on how to stop overthinking and how meditation teaches us "Situation + Detachment = Clarity." He used the lovely adage "Think Slow—Think Less—Think Better" during his presentation. We can get rid of overthinking by implementing the "Detect - Disrupt - Dispute - Design" 4D paradigm in a person's life.
• Sis. Aruna Ladva led a "Meditation Lab Session" outside, which was followed by various exercises and conducted meditation practises on "Create good wishes for someone," "Imagine we have a seed in the palm of our hand and today we plant this seed for good," and "Visualize a big ball of light in front of us and put any worries into that ball and then feel that ball is flying away".

 

04 Sept. 2022: Integrate

• Sister Shivani expanded in her talk on how adopting spiritual knowledge might give us a new outlook on how to live. The slogan "Eat Right - Sleep Right" was also introduced to the audience. Additionally, we must safeguard ourselves against the sickness that is in the air. Thus, New way of Being can be achieved by having a Meditative Lifestyle.
• A Panel Discussion - Soul Autonomy was conducted by the Panelists : Bro. Bhaarathe, Bro. EV Girish, Sis. Shreya, Sis. Monica and Sis. Trupti.
• Bro. Suraj provided clarification on several methods for boosting soul immunity. He said that we must practise strong, optimistic, positive thoughts first thing in the morning and slow down our rate of thought. Create a clear vision for the things we wish to do in life after waking up.
• Creative meditation was conducted by Sis. Aruna Ladva which she started with the transition of vice to a virtue. We can convert anger to peace, attachment to love, greed to happiness, ego to truth and lust to purity. She guided me to meditate.

 

05 Sept. 2022: Valedictory Session

The conference was concluded by the Valedictory Session conducted by Sister BK Madhu, National Coordinator, IT Wing, BK Yashwant, HQ-Coordinator, IT Wing and BK Varsha, Facilitator, IT Wing.

And Vote of Thanks was given by BK Sanjiv Gupta, Facilitator, IT Wing.

President Murmu’s visit to Abu Road postponed

9 September 2022

 

Abu Road (Rajasthan): President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Abu Road in Rajasthan’s Sirohi district has been postponed.

She was scheduled to inaugurate the Global Summit being organised by Brahma Kumaris at its international headquarters in Abu Road on Sunday, September 11.

After the programme, the president was scheduled to go to Mount Abu on the same day and her departure was scheduled on Monday.

“We have been informed that the visit of the President has been postponed. The Global Summit will be held as per its schedule and the revised dates of the President’s visit to the headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris are likely to be released soon,” a spokesperson of the organisation said.

The summit will be held from September 10 to 14 with the theme of “India – The Harbinger of World Peace”.  Rajasthan governor Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, and ministers of many states are among the guests who have been invited to the summit.

It may be noted that President Murmu has an old association with the Brahma Kumaris.

Founded in 1936, Brahma Kumaris have branches across 140 countries and they work for personal transformation and peace.

 

 

 

Good News Update on Didi Nirmala's health

Some of you may have heard that Didi Nirmala had not been so well after returning from her trip to Australia. This is to give you the latest update.

Dr Nirmala Didi is getting better and better. Her blood counts are almost near normal. She is stable, more alert and active. She took a stroll within her hospital room!

 

Many thanks for your good wishes, sakaash and meditative vibes – they are doing wonders. Didi personally conveys her grateful thanks. 

Didi is likely to be released from hospital on Saturday. She may travel to Gyan Sarovar on Sunday.

 

She is advised to still stay in her room and restrict visitors.
