Hearty Invitation to the 21st Annual SpARC Meeting 2016 in Shantivan

8 November 2015

Dear Babas' Sweet Children, Om Shanti and please accept sweet Godly Remembrances from Madhuban Home.

As we can see, the current scenario of both the alokik family and the lokik world is approaching the New World Order at a rapid pace. When we read Avyakt BapDada's Signals and recent Dadi Prakashmani ji's Avyakt Versions, we are enlightened of the fact that time is getting closer very fast. In the least time, we have to accomplish Avyakt BapDada's homework given in the year 2014-15 and also fulfill Baba's pure expectations.  In addition, Yagya-seva is also progressing at a fast pace - a fact well known to all of us.

As in past years, SpARC Wing will be conducting its 21st Annual Meeting and Retreat for BKs  from 11-15 March 2016 to fulfill Baba's expectations and accomplish the above task. During this meeting, a review of the results of last year's projects and services done by the SpARC Wing will also be held. Decisions will be taken with regard to new paradigms of Godly services, conducting conferences at Madhuban as well as other places in India, and research projects.

Please note that there will be no meeting with BapDada during, before, or after the SpARC Meeting. EXTENDED STAY (beyond the SpARC meeting) WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.  You are welcome to come for BapDada's Milan as per your Zone's turn.  This is as per the decision taken by Management, which will be STRICTLY FOLLOWED. Hence, SpARC members are requested to take serious note of this to avoid any inconvenience.

UPDATED COMPLETE ANNOUNCEMENT
with registration links
for the March 2016
Seven‐day Teachers Training:
Foundation Course in Raja Yoga Meditation

Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC), Delhi
Arrivals Wednesday, 16th March / Departures Friday 25th March

Due to the positive response from two previous Teacher Trainings held at ORC in 2014 and 2015, we are happy to announce the training will again be offered at ORC in March 2016.

Those interested in attending should plan their arrival and departure so as to not miss any of the sessions. The first session will be on Thursday, 17th March evening; the last session will be on Thursday 24th March evening. Departures can be arranged for Friday 25th March.

Participants could schedule their Madhuban visit from 1st to 15th March (meeting BapDada on the 7th March) and fly to Delhi by the 16th evening (or 17th March morning latest). Alternatively, they could fly directly into Delhi on the 16th March (or 17th March morning latest) for the training, and then travel to Madhuban on the 25th March and meet BapDada on the 31st March. However these souls would have a shorter Madhuban (13 days) as they would have to leave Madhuban on the 5th April.

BKs already teaching the Foundation Raja Yoga Course, as well as those who would like to teach or those who would be keen to review the course in depth, are welcome to attend. Participants should be in gyan at least three years and attending the Centre regularly. (Exceptions to this must be confirmed with the trainers.) Whether you would like to start teaching but need confidence and lesson plans, or are already teaching and would like to update your skills and get feedback on their effectiveness, you will find this seven-day immersion in gyan and yoga invaluable. Prior training attendees (especially those who've completed only a long-weekend training) are also welcome to attend.

The training will cover the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of the Course (12 -15 lessons) as well as sessions on facilitation and experiential learning skills. It will also include a number of practicums - sessions in which participants practice developing their presentation skills by teaching a segment of a lesson and are given constructive feedback by their peers. The seven-day schedule will provide for a comfortably paced training that allows for free time in the afternoon and evening classes by seniors in the Delhi zone.

The training will again be conducted by Sr Kiran (USA) and Sr Margaret Barron (UK). Sr Kiran will deliver the content sessions and Sr Margaret will offer sessions on experiential learning methods. Sr Kiran, who has been in gyan since 1979 (36 years) has conducted other such trainings at Peace Village and Anubhuti Retreat Centres, in various US and Canadian cities and in Guyana. Sr Margaret has been in gyan since 1992 (23 years) and is involved with the Raja Yoga Education Department, UK and co-facilitates experiential trainings for new and established teachers in London and around the UK. She has also facilitated trainings for BK teachers in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Greece and Holland, designed to make the delivery of the Raja Yoga Course more interactive, creative, and supportive of all types of learners. Sr Rona Schweitz (DR), in gyan since 1990 (25 years), will also join the training team this time, providing a session on meditation, a meditation experience in each content session, and guiding the 7 to 7:30pm evening meditations. Sr Rona travels regularly to the USA, Europe and the Caribbean, facilitating seminars and retreats on Meditation, the Mind-body Connection, Integral Health, Relationship Dynamics and Self-esteem. She has also authored "An Experiential Approach to Mastering Meditation".

A pin drive containing over 600 pages of Teacher Resources will be made available to all participants for a nominal charge.

Please note that attending this training does not automatically qualify participants to teach. That needs to be decided by the Centre Coordinator in conjunction with the participant. This will be emphasized during the training. Note: the registration form will ask participants whether they follow the principles of pure diet, purity in relationships, and regular amrit vela and murli class. All information will be kept confidential.

A note about language: The training will be in English and if participants need translation, at least two translator(s) must be provided by the center or language group.

Some experienced teachers are needed to help facilitate the practicum sessions, so if you are already teaching but are interested in the training and willing to play this role, kindly let us know by indicating this in the appropriate place on the registration form. You would need to arrive on the 16th March without exception to participate in a facilitator's briefing session on 17th March morning. Facilitators must provide previous facilitation experience.

In addition, a few additional support helpers are needed who have good office and people skills to help with various tasks including administration, registration and valuables, accommodation, dining services and special diets etc. Once these tasks are completed they are welcome to join any of the sessions, but their first responsibility would be to fulfill their support duties. If there is anyone in your Centre whom you feel would be suitable and enjoy this opportunity for service, please let the training organizers know at: rajayogaeducation@uk.brahmakumaris.org

Please pass this information to anyone who you feel would be suitable for the training, or to help as a facilitator or in the support role. Booking for all roles is directly online at http://brahmakumaris.org/r/tt2016 by 15th December 2015.

Updated: Invitation to the Spirit of Care Retreat: 1 - 4th March, Gyansarovar - New Registration Link

26 October 2015

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Invitation to the Spirit of Care Retreat

1st - 4th March 2016, Gyan Sarovar

"Emerging Compassion and Love for the Self and Others"

Hello and Om Shanti. We are delighted to share with you details of the fifth Spirit of Care Retreat to be held in Gyan Sarovar. This is a warm and open invitation to each member of the Brahmin Family.

When we talk about ‘the spirit of care', compassion is surely an essential ingredient in our ability to move forward and embrace this spiritual path of ours with ease – so why is it difficult to have compassion for the self? Why are we often so harsh on ourselves?

In our spiritual life we strive for deep satisfaction, harmony, happiness and love; but in reality how can we achieve this? How can we live in harmony together? What is the vision and attitude that we need... a vision that allows for healthy, harmonious and creative relationships?

This retreat invites you to explore how you can feel deeply loving inside; not just for the self but also for others, especially when our interactions are challenging. How can we avoid getting stuck in guilt and judgmental attitudes?

We warmly invite you to spend this time healing the self, your relationships and ultimately the world.

"Unplugging and Tuning - In Discovering the Diamonds of BK Family Life" Madhuban Retreat for BK International Parents, Dec 26 - 30

24 July 2015

RETREAT FOR BK INTERNATIONAL PARENTS

Each December is a time when families visit Madhuban and children and young people participate in the Children's Retreat and Young Adults Retreats.

This upcoming December 2015, we shall also be holding a retreat for parents during the time of the Children's Retreat as well as the Young Adults Retreat and Retreat for 13-15 year olds. The sessions will be organized taking into account the children's retreat timings.

If you are an International Parent in Madhuban in December, you are welcome to attend whether or not your children are in the retreat.

8th International Parents Retreat
5-Day Parents Retreat from December 26 to December 30, 2015
Unplugging and Tuning In
Discovering the Diamonds of BK Family Life
In today's world, families are living life plugged in to the latest technological advances of computers, TVs, movies, social media and video games etc. that keep everyone's minds, from children to parents minds occupied.  This form of mind occupancy often causes conflict between parents and children. However, in Brahmin life we know that plugging into Baba's vibration of love is the foundation of family life. Divine love brings peace, clarity and harmony into the family.
So how can we unplug from these false supports and activate the jewels of love and peace into the practical daily family life?
We have all experienced pure love from BapDada and our lives have been profoundly changed by this experience. However, many of us still have the habits of attachment which create unfulfilled expectations. Then we can find ourselves with feelings of agitation, anger, disappointment, demands and consequently, the habit of giving and taking sorrow which brings unhappiness to the family.
In this retreat we will explore the transformational process of removing these habits at both the conscious and subconscious levels. We will aim at clearing the heart of all its wounds and bring ourselves back to a feeling of wholeness and natural happiness. We will learn to receive God's love and share that love, the way that Brahma Baba loved this Brahmin family.
We hope you will join us and collectively we can experience an independent journey of happiness, fulfillment and love in the family.
Announcements will be made in Madhuban about the location and timings of the retreat sessions.

The Power Retreat - Developing Inner Strength Through Silence
Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC) in Delhi, 25-30 March 2015

12 February 2015

Special invitation open to all our Global Divine Family,

Otherwise known as the yearly ORC Silence Retreat, this year's focus will be on accumulating spiritual power.

The specialty of the retreat this year is that there will be no classes as such. By removing this traditional form of support, the aim is to give time and energy to the many treasures already received from Baba, so as to organize them in new ways for our own personal journey and become more effective in applying them. An empowering process, indeed!

Quality time will be given for doing exactly what we always wished we could do -- take a few days off to get ourselves into some genuine silence, deepen our experience of eternity, sort out those bothersome sanskars, and create some new habits of introversion, study, remembrance and yoga.

Please arrive by March 25th, we will start with tea in the garden. Departures on March 30th are after breakfast.

Please register ONLINE by 5 March at http://tinyurl.com/kp2fu82

We very much look forward to a powerful and transforming experience.

With love
In Baba´s yaad
