News regarding the Climate Disasters in British Columbia

Dear Divine Family,
British Columbia has been in the news since the summer for the fires which destroyed many places. Now we have destruction by water.
We have had a few days of heavy rain and the specialists say that because of the fires, the floods have been worse.
Many were trapped in the middle of the Trans Canada Highway due to landslides and had to stay in their cars - some on the tops of their cars in the dark and cold rain - while waiting for help.
In the city of Abbotsford, the Sumas river flooded and some farmers lost everything including their houses. The province of British Columbia was cut off from the rest of Canada due to bridges and train tracks being broken. As a result, food supplies, gas, etc. are in short supply in many stores and gas stations.
They are working very hard to restore the highways, specifically the Trans Canada Highway. The government is taking emergency measures to restore the levees of the Sumas River before this coming Tuesday when more rains are expected. If the old levees break, the whole city of Abbotsford could be inundated.
For a while we have been preparing for a big earthquake that they say is long past due and we have been holding preparedness classes. At this moment, we are seeing a rehearsal of how things can happen. When the predicted big earthquake happens, the airport of Abbotsford will be critical in bringing medicines, food, etc to the city of Vancouver. I believe now the government has woken up and will ensure that the city is better prepared.
The good news is that the entire BC Brahmin family has not been affected at all. Our life continues the same, including the BK family in Abbotsford where class continues happening on a regular basis. This has been a time for us to do mansa seva and become more prepared.

Cyclone News from Chennai, India

Respected Bapdada, Dadi Ratan Mohiniji, all Didis and Senior Brothers at Madhuban, all members of Brahmin family,
I am just sharing little news about Nature’s fury in Chennai, Tamilnadu and Kerala States.
Since the last 20 days, from the beginning of November 2021, we have experienced four cyclones and low depression in and around Chennai and Tamilnadu State.
The first cyclone lasted 2 days, bringing heavy rains and winds nearly all over the state. Then there was relief from rain and winds for two days. From 5th November, again rains and heavy winds started with the climax of heavy rains bringing up to 25 to 30 cms to Chennai especially. There was flooding of all streets and roads in and around Chennai city and all districts of Tamilnadu. especially on 7th November. Along with this came electricity instabililty and water difficulties. No one was able to step out of their houses for two days as rains continued pouring.
Then we had a break on 9th and 10th November in between with open skies, just little sunlight in between, on and off.
Next, on 11th and 12th November, we had a third cyclone affecting the interior and southern districts of Tamil Nadu and parts of Kerala also. There was heavy rain, flooding, and lightning. The same impact was felt in Chennai also.
There have been heavy losses in land areas as standing crops are all destroyed; many buildings, trees, bridges, etc. have fallen as usual.
From 14th November, for three days there was relief for all as dry weather occurred (no rains) but heavy winds persisted.
Then again, from 17th November, a fourth cyclone started affecting Chennai and surrounding districts in the middle and east. In the west of Tamil Nadu state, all districts have experienced heavy rains with flooding, rain water entering houses etc.
Today 21st November, we have overcast skies with intermittent rains all over the state.
Overall people had just a sigh of relief for two days and then again heavy downpours. There is severe devastation all over south India including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka - all five southern states are affected.
I share very proudly that all Baba’s centres (except two-three centres located on the ground floor that were flooded) have been safe. All teachers and surrendered brothers are safe under Baba’s canopy of protection.
There were times when speaking to Baba mentally was the only support for us. We could not do anything due to electricity failure. We couldn’t listen or use mobiles as we did not know, if the battery got low, when electricity would return. No fans could be used (but the climate has become very chilly, like Madhuban so to say). We relied on just being connected with Baba intellectually to develop the catching power to catch Baba’s inspirations.
Fresh milk was available only at times, not daily; vegetables and fruits prices have skyrocketed. But Baba’s children are well sustained at all centres. A few electronic gadgets at some centres have been affected. Water has entered some BK families' houses. Whenever needed, support has been extended from the centres.
We are getting news that another fifth cyclone is around the corner – next weekend.
Actually, monsoons in Tamil Nadu and the eastern coast occur from Oct to Dec each year. One or two cyclones come every year, but this month of November 2021 has been a wonderful experience of being surrounded by water.
As Baba has already told us, the last scenes of the drama are nearing. So I will say this is nothing new. We, the Brahmin family, have become strong; we have come closer to Baba and are learning how to be sakshi and detached.

You would have received the information about the possibility of travel to Madhuban for double foreigners this season from your NC/NCTs. At this stage, Madhuban is only requesting that we send an estimate of numbers who are likely to go to Madhuban on those dates. Then those dates have to be confirmed by Madhuban. So it is important that no one books any tickets as these dates are not yet confirmed. There are still many Covid restrictions to consider and so please wait for further instructions from Madhuban as many aspects still need to be clarified.

Our dear divine BK Sisters and Brothers from Bharat and around the globe,
Please accept Godly love and remembrances from Madhuban-Shantivan.
I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for your kind words and messages via email and phone calls. As informed earlier, I returned to Shantivan on 7 October, the auspicious beginning of Navratri. There is no doubt that returning to our sweet home, Madhuban/Shantivan, has filled me with a lot of intoxication and sweet feelings. I am continuing with my medication as well as meditation, physiotherapy and short walks every morning and evening with the help of two brothers. I am in an old chariot that is nearing 83 years of age, and therefore progress and recovery are a bit slow... But I am happy to share that whenever souls interact with me, they say that I appear to be in very good health!!
I have deep faith in Avyakt BapDada and their words of encouragement: 'This too shall pass...' I understand that I have to be patient for another 2-3 months before I can regain normal health.
Things in Bharat seem to be better, even though the deceptive enemy of humanity, COVID-19, still lurks around. I have been remembering and missing some of my dear divine brothers: Amir Chandbhai, Sunderlalbhai (Delhi) and a few others who passed on this last year to take on new roles in the world drama. I also constantly remember our beloved Dadis. Everyday we see progress in the memorial for Avyakt BapDada's precious medium, Dadi Gulzarji, that is being set up right in front of my residence, Mahadani Cottage, in Shantivan. Our Dadis left us teachings and a legacy that continue to support us on our journeys.
Due to the limitation of service activities, most Brahmin sisters and brothers are taking time to further explore the beauty and depth of Godly Teachings (Sakar and Avyakt Murlis). This has proved to be a very good opportunity for self-empowerment, and attaining freedom from unnecessary drawbacks. It is important to enhance the quality of Godly Remembrance, and live accurately as per the spiritual principles merged in Baba's elevated versions. The greatest gift of the present time is the super-sensuous joy experienced through the angelic stage. I am sure all of you too must be exploring new avenues of spiritual progress.

Having spent 2 months in Ahmedabad for treatment of various health issues, I returned to our Shantivan home on 7 October, the first day of the Festival of Navratri.
The major problem of the spine is getting better, but to help further strengthen the spine, Dr Bharat Dave (Spine Surgeon) has advised me to continue with the medication for 2 more months. All else is fine.
Please accept gratitude from the heart for all your good wishes, pure feelings and loving remembrances that have supported me in recovery.

We would like to share with you the good news that our Munnibenji returned to Baba's home in Memnagar Centre on 5 September, after having spent a week in Apollo CVHF Heart Institute, Ahmedabad after the By-pass Surgery. Her health is improving with everyone's good wishes. She will spend a week in Memnagar Centre, Ahmedabad, and has a follow-up health check with her doctors on 12 October.
Munnibenji needs complete rest and so visitors are not allowed. She sends her thanks to everyone for their yoga power, and loving good wishes in Baba's remembrance.

Regarding Sister Munni's By Pass Surgery

Dear All, Greetings from Madhuban
This is to inform you all that our dear sister munni (dadi cottage-shantivan) who is Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris, underwent MICS (Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery) which is also called mini bypass heart surgery for multiple blockages in her coronary arteries.
The surgery was done at Ahmedabad's Apollo Hospital led by team of expert medical professionals - Dr Sudhir Adalati (Cardiothoracic Surgeon), Dr Samir Dani (Interventional Cardiologist) and her Dr's from Mumbai, Dr PK Jain and Dr Mita Shah.
The surgery started at around 9 am IST today and was completed at around 2 in noon. According to her doctors,she is stable and will be kept under observation for at least 24 to 48 hours, post which she would be shifted to her room at the Hospital. We all look forward to welcoming her back safely, much healthier. This is to inform all that our dear sister, BK Munnibenji, underwent an angiography today at around 12noon, at Apollo City Hospital, Ahmedabad, and it was found that there is a blockage in the main artery. After much discussion, her doctors, Dr Samir Dani (Cardiologist) and Dr P K Jain (Intensive Care Specialist) have suggested that it would be better to have the bypass surgery rather than stenting procedure.
The bypass surgery is scheduled for Wed, 29 September 2021 at 9am IST. All are requested to send your good wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Maharashtra, lndia has been honoured by Global Pledge Campaign of World Book of Records, UK for serving humanity and dedicated activities in Corona virus pandemic. She was felicitated with a Certificate of Commitment by Hon’ble Hema Malini (Member of Parliament and Actress) along with Dr. Deepak Harke (National Secretary, WBR – India).
On being felicitated by the World Book of Records, Rajyogini Brahmakumari Yogini Didi was congratulated by Mr. Wilhelm Jezler (Head WBR Europe), Shri Santosh Shukla, Supreme Court, Advocate (President & CEO, World Book of Records) and Central Working Committee of World Book of Records.
Rajyogini BK Santosh, Joint Chief Administrator of Brahma Kumaris was felicitated with ‘Certificate of Commitment’ by World Book of Records, London. She was given this honor for her efforts of organizing online programs for teaching Rajayoga to people during Coronavirus Pandemic and providing relief to masses by making them mentally powerful.
Under Wilhelm Jezlar, Head of World Book of Records, Europe, awareness campaigns about Covid-19 are being run in 70 countries of the world. People and organizations are felicitated with ‘ Certificate of Commitment’ to inspire them and others to come forward and work for Coronavirus Pandemic relief.
Under this initiative, BK Dr. Deepak Harke, National Secretary, World Book of Records, London, along with Actress Usha Usgaongar, presented Rajyogini BK Santosh, Joint Chief of Administrator of Brahma Kumaris, with this Certificate at B.N. Vaidya Hall in Dadar.
World Book of Records was greatly thankful and enthused about the response and appreciation for its CSR Initiative – Mass Pledge Campaign drive which has been instrumental in motivating people of all continents so that together we will win this fight against COVID-19. BK Young Adults Special Event -- September 18, 2021

Dear Divine Family,
All BK young adults are warmly invited to join the "Dance of Gyan and Yoga," a special 2.5 hour online global gathering on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 15:00 GMT. (Please forward this invitation to all BK young adults in your area)
Br Enrique (Spain) and Sr Manda (UK) will be facilitating this interactive and creative exploration of gyan and yoga.
The event is for BK young adults (aged between 16 - 40) and youth instruments who hold responsibility in the Yagya. It is also open to those "youth graduates" (outside the age range) who have participated in previous IYF/IYAR programmes or have been involved in local/national youth service in their areas.
